Boston Symphony is a very old and nice place to just visit. The architecture is adorable. I felt like I am in a museum with these amazing statues all around the salon. The waiting salons have old pictures of the pianists, which are very nostalgic. It is nice to see while drinking the wine. I really enjoyed listening Tchaikovsky violin concerto in this fascinating salon.

Amazing historical symphony Hall to view the spectacular Boston Pops Orchestra! My family was welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. The hall is museum-like with plaques filled with facts about the hall as well as a collection of antique instruments. The Bugs Bunny at the Symphony was an unforgettable experience for my children and definitely a worthy experience as a Christmas gift for them. We traveled from Asheville, NC and were not disappointed!

This is a great venue with a lot of history. The acoustics are great, and lines for the bathrooms and concessions arent as bad as you might fear at intermission.Drink and snack prices are as ridiculous aa you would expect. There is a nearby parking garage over the nearby Whole Foods. Street parking isnt generally available.

What a magnificent building, incredible orchestra and all-around sensation. Acoustics are superb, the combination of marble and wood provides a warm yet define sound across the frequency spectrum. The repertoire is carefully selected, even if you notice a strong bent on the nineteenth century masters.Excellent view from every seat.Recommended every time you are in Boston.

One of the best concert halls in the world. With its shoebox shape, simple accents, and focus on sound, it makes for a remarkable experience. Of the symphony’s I’ve been to, a very close second to Berlins finest. Absolutely worth going if you are in the city, and highly recommended for a visit from anyone who loves classical music.

Great acoustics in the main stage and if you avoid the top price range, the ticket cost is reasonable. The side balcony seats have an OK view, but you need to lean forward over the edge if you want to see the whole stage. We went to one of the Boston Pops Orchestra concerts and a couple of odd things happened. The stalls were full of people eating and drinking. Unfortunately upstairs, the bar staff were happy to put drinks in plastic cups to be taken into the theatre - but the somewhat grumpy ushers would not let you take any food or drink in. And the pieces played did not quite match what was in the programme. But overall it was fun.

Absolutely gorgeous symphony Hall, definitely recommend seating from the first or second balcony for the breathe taking view of not only your entertainment but of the artwork that surrounds you. Bar in the lobby, for those with the need of a quick drink before, or after, your event. Right off the highway with multiple garages nearby. You are in for a good time if you got a ticket here.

Beautiful building and a great venue for live performances. We were here specifically for the Christmas show by Boston Pops, which was such a joy to watch, especially when they played the Leroy Anderson classic, Sleigh Ride. As they played a medley of popular Christmas songs toward the end of the show, a large projector displayed the lyrics so the audience can sing along. The show was definitely a great way to start the holiday festivities!

Beautiful symphony hall with great acoustics. Right in the city and easily accessed by public transportation. Too bad they seem to love single use plastics and other disposables with their F&B. Since its clearly a profit center they should be a little more responsible to the rest of the population on this planet.

Nice concert hall, I have been here for a number of shows. I would say the easiest parking is the garage by whole foods. They do a great job decorating for the holidays. This is the home of the Boston Pops. The balcony seats are great seats with a great view. The acoustics are great in the hall. Would reccomend seeing a show here if you have an opportunity.

Absolutely exceptional experience. I attended the opening night of the Symphony 2016-17 season. The hall is a gorgeous building inside and out. The staff were exemplary. The cocktail food and drink before the show were all amazing. The Symphony Orchestra, under the Andris Nelsons, and featuring Lang Lang, was perfect and performed an emotional and technically astounding all-russian program. The seating in the hall is very comfortable, and all corners of the hall seemed acceptable for viewing. I whole heartedly recommend your attendance if youre able to fit it into your time in Boston.

My Biological Sister and I had never met in person. She lives in Indiana and I live here in Massachusetts. She purchased tickets and her husband gifted her the trip for them to come meet the brother she knew she had but had never met. The Boston Symphony was part of this wonderful reunion. I never knew she existed and here I am sharing our story.Im sure everyone has a reason to see the Symphony. My reason is truly a blessing. We witnessed a wonderful show. So grateful. We will definitely come back. Life is always full of surprises.

Symphony Hall was everything I had hoped. I watched Evening at Pops for years and finally experienced a Pops concert in person. The seating feels more intimate than Im used to in Chicago, and the sound has a very warm but clear and vibrant quality. Really the only problems I had were with the fact that people kept walking in to find their seats *during* the songs, and this was extremely distracting since Im not used to a hall that allows that. Otherwise, this was essentially a dream come true. I cant wait to come back for another concert as soon as possible!

World class orchestra and music making in shoebox style concert hall. Perhaps medium-sized venue for classical music, if you consider some of the more recently built halls. SH is not to be missed by those who really love classical music - either orchestral or chamber music programs. The left and right balcony seating takes getting used to because you have to turn your head to watch the musicians.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. A couple of co-workers and I were in town for work and thought this would be a great experience so we got tickets for what turned out to be opening night for their holiday season. They played everything from the classic sing along Christmas carols that we all know to more classic songs like Tchaikovsky. If you have a height issue you might not want the second balcony but other than that this place was absolutely amazing. The building was amazing, the music was amazing, everything was amazing. I cannot recommend this highly enough if you happen to be in the area for Christmas.

Home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops, Symphony Hall is a storied facility. It has hosted (and continues to host) the most notable musicians and lecturers on the world, both established and ascending. The acoustics are superb and the sightlines clear.
