This is one of my favorite venues by far. This is the venue I’ve been to the most times, I’ve been here for different genres of concerts and all were great. The venue size isn’t too big but it’s not too small, it’s the perfect size that there is enough space and at the same time it is not overwhelmingly big which is nice as well. The sound dynamics are great, easy to hear and you’re right by the stage. The venue is high quality, especially compared to a number of other venues in the Boston area. The only inconvenience is if you drive there because of minimal parking around the area but that’s expected for most places in Boston. I recommend this venue!

Awesome venue. The space is small but it makes for a great, intimate experience. Its also 2 floors which is cool. I showed up late to a Set It Off show in March and was still able to get a great spot to stand. There arent really any bad spots. The bathroom was clean (which was surprising for a concert!) All staff I encountered were great. Overall, great first experience at this venue!

Its a great place to see a show, but theres no room upstairs. If youre not right on the rail, its impossible to see. The stage is just the right height to see from the back if youre talking. The staff is pleasant and they offer free water for those who need to hydrate or do not drink.

This was my first time here and I thought it was nice. The security check was quick, so you dont have to worry much: just have no bags, and bring out all electronics, wallets, etc. out., and walk through the detectors. The venue inside is small, but it does make it cozy enough that you are really really close to the stage. Theres also a balcony/upper floor if you like to watch from higher point of view.My friends and I got really close to the stage and it felt so surreal to have the band play so close. The speakers were high on the ceiling, so your ears dont need to go super deaf immediately haha. Overall, it gave me a wonderful experience and hope to be here again soon.

Saw Local Natives here a few weeks ago and had a great time. This venue is awesome and is kind of similar to the home like feel you get from Middle East, but with a bit more room to roam. There are two floors, plenty of bars and clean, well maintained bathrooms. Looking forward to my next show here!

My girlfriend and I traveled to Boston to see Helmet (metal band) at the paradise rock club. The Paradise itself is a very compact little concert venue with the capacity for maybe 400 people tops. We were able to walk right up to the stage and watch the whole show from right there. Its difficult not to review Helmet, who crushed their show, and instead review the club itself but Ill try. The people working at the club were all excellent, from those scanning tickets and checking IDs to bartenders. They have a decent selection of cocktails and beer, and for a Boston rock club the prices were not bad at all. A good place to see a band close up.

I went to the Paradise Rock Club this past weekend for Chelsea Cutler and really enjoyed the venue. It’s small so regardless of where you stand, you’re going to have a decent view. There are bathrooms and bars both upstairs and downstairs, which makes the lines a little more bearable. I’m looking forward to coming back for more shows!

Awesome concert venue!! Its a small space which makes for excellent viewing of the concerts but its not so small that you feel cramped. They have a 2nd floor to watch from also which is pretty cool.Theres a bar that serves a variety of drinks, including alcohol. The show determines whether its 21+ or not.

A nice little venue with amazing location as there are numerous restaurants nearby that all have wonderful food. There are a good amount of parking garages nearby as it is close to the Boston University campus. Unfortunately the inside is a little small which causes the security to yell at people during packed events as many get pushed out onto the aisles.

Have been to more shows then I can count over the years here. Staple in the Boston music scene. Also one of the bigger midsize venues to host local acts or smaller national touring bands. Sound is top notch. Due to the layout you usually have close access to the stage which makes it intimate. Only downside is that there are support pillars that may block certain views. Sound on the far ends drop off and arent as good but provides a place to relax. Im into good audio quality and this place delivers, just stand on axis to the speakers.

I come to the Paradise Rock Club way more often than any other concert venue. Whenever I see that my favorite bands are touring into Boston and the venue is PRC I actually get so excited because the space & atmosphere are just so great here! I dont think theres a better place for bands to perform at or a better place to see bands at than the PRC.

Paradise is probably one of my favorite venues in Boston. Its intimate, but big enough that it draws a fun crowd. As long as you dont get suck standing behind a pillar, there is no bad view of the stage! They have a coat check, but I cant recall how much it costs. The few times Ive used it, Ive decided its a better option to just bring a light jacket (the coat check is in the back of the venue, usually next to the merch table, and there can be a really long line to access it. If you absolutely need to check your coat, try to get it before the show ends so you dont have to wait in the line). As long as Paradise keeps booking good artists, I will continue to come back. All of the security and bartenders Ive encountered there have been very nice! (also, a word of caution: lighters are not allowed inside the venue and will be put into a bucket to get back after the show)

A great venue to see a show. I really like how they provide coolers of water for free. Not a bad view in the place. A nice balcony to watch from up top. They do have a sign posted that no moshing or crowd surfing allowed so that could be a plus or minus. I dont know if that is enforced.

I have a love hate relationship with this venue, the crowds can get a bit rowdy and a shorter person like me, who likes getting close to the stage, might have a hard times, but I definitely appreciate that there is a balcony for that reason. I went here for the Amber Liu Tour X and the venu was perfect for a more intimate experience and ability to interact with the artist. The location is also very easily accessible from public transportation. The only reason for not giving five stars is that I called ahead for disability seating and was told a chair would be provided. When we got there, they did not have enough chairs in the disability area. The person who brought us in was very helpful, but said he would aquire a chair for me and never came back. Besides that, I still had a great experience!

Ive seen 3 shows here. Dopapod, Jedi Mind Tricks and Little Xan. All were great shows. Its a smaller venue, about half the size of House of Blues Boston, but the scale puts you much closer to the stage, even in the farthest corner. Theres a mezzanine level with a few couches around for when youve partied too hard, as well as viewing boxes for lack of a better word. Theyre just parts of the mezzanine with rails on 3 sides, so if you go with a group you can sorta have your own space. First come first serve.Bars on both sides, merch to the right of the stage. Security is good. Reentry available for smokers. The crowd packs in tight, be ready for a challenge to the front if you arrive late.Photos attached are taken from the back of the crowd. The two where he appears closer are taken from the middle.Moshpit friendly

I went here to see the Hu and had a great experience. I didnt see any issues with the security personnel that others have mentioned, but I have only been here once so far. The stage has a fence about 2 feet await at 4ish feet high so if you are in the front of the line you can have a great time seeing the bad up close. This past Saturday night, March 30th ... I had purchased my boyfriend and I tickets to the Whitey Morgan show for his birthday. We were having an absolute blast. The venue was great, and there wasnt a bad seat in the whole place, even though we were standing. To make a long story short, my boyfriend and I were turned away for service when we had gone up the bar for our THIRD beer. Confused, we asked why ... and we were told that we had had enough. This lead us to walk over to one of the other bars in the venue and proceeded to ask a different bartender for our THIRD beer. Due to this, we were then escorted out of the building. We did nothing wrong. We did not cause any issues with your staff, or any other attending patrons. You like to throw people out of your venue that want to spend money? Youve ruined our first experience, so that was our last. Please be more selective with people that actually do cause problems, because we certainly did not.
