Beautiful, clean beach. White sand, lots of shells and birds. We saw dolphins feeding too! $2.00 per hour to park.

Very nice quiet beach. The water was eerily still. It was nice for anyone wanting to sun bathe.

This place is really nice in the early morning if youre looking for a less crowded beach and free a side lot parking. The midday and evening hrs make it hard to find parking and the beach can be a bit crowded. I like to walk north once on the beach to the rock walls and sit in the rocks.

As a local, this is a favorite family beach. The water is usually clear here most of the year except slight tanning after periods of heavy rain. Parking on weekends and evenings can be a challenge during season.

Nice beach. Don’t leave sandals or shoes by the entrance while you walk on the beach, ours were stolen. First time this has ever happened at any beach we have visited in SWFL. I hope the thief enjoys them!

Very nice beach, great waves, nice sand, nice seashells but not too many to be annoying. It was more crowded than we would have liked, but it did have decent parking, showers, restrooms, and a drinking fountain. Pay parking was $2 an hour.

This was one of my favorite beaches! Super easy parking, beautiful shells, restroom facilities, peaceful... Make sure you walk all the way to the north end of the beach!

Get there early. Fills up quick. Showers and restrooms. Additional parking across the street and then another overflow lot across the main road. Went there fishing this morning. Saw manatees swimming by and some tarpon out front. Nice white sandy beach.

Bathrooms available, more parking than other beach access points, and a beautiful stretch of the beach make this one of our favorite spots in the area. There is additional parking across the street.

I loved this beach, it was clean, bright white sand, beautiful shells, people seam nice but most of all excellent clarity of water even after the hurricane.

Parking is packed if you come after 10 a.m. same with the beach. Beautiful area which has been over developed as most of the Gulf Coast. If you are an avid sheller this is not the best or worst beach for this activity. Shells are here but not in abundance. Swimming depends on tide and skill.

Its sooo beautiful and they have restrooms, showers, plenty of open beach to find your area of peace! I always find a wide array of seashells whenever Im on the hunt as well! Happy place to be and the sunsets are spectacular

If you can find a parking place, this is a wonderful place to visit the beach. Even better, if you park across the street in the small (~15 space) parking lot - its free! There are restrooms and an outdoor shower to clean off your sandy feet. On sunny days and weekends it can be difficult to find a parking space. We drove around about 45 min and finally scored a spot. It was well worth the wait!

Nice beach. We walked north to the channel. Very cool spot. Facilities are okay. Nice to have showers for rinsing off the salt from the kids. Got a little crowded but overall was a great day. We parked north of the bridge and walked to the beach since we couldnt find parking.

We got there rather late to get togo and they suggested that we dine in and were very attentive as well as nice. A great meal after traveling all day!

Wonderful beach. While hard to find, it is quiet and peaceful. Prepare to wait for a parking spot, because there is not a lot of room. The beach itself isnt as shelly as others in the area, and has warm waters, perfect for swimming. Awsome beach overall!

The most beautiful place in earth. Ive seen the ocean in three different states and this by far was the most serene and perfect place Ive ever been. The wildlife is abundant and people are very friendly here. Not alot of riff-raff. I could sit here for the rest of my life and be happy. Ot was like seeing the ocean for the first time all over again. Breath-taking.

Get there early 9-930 am to get parking. Parking costs but it also cost city/county to maintain. Beach gets crowded but again it is public and there is very little public access along hickory blvd. They do have nice bathroom/showers. This area became our go to spot. Great shelling just a walk up to the jetty and around to river. Get there low tide and you can walk out a distance.

The public parking area has about 30 slots, plus about 20 more across the street. It costs 2 dollars per hour. It is generally full on sunny days in peak season and just before sunset.

Clean restrooms, adequate & handicapped parking, large beach, good variety of shells & perfect for viewing sunsets.Due to presence of sharks, popular area for Tarpon fishing, I will not swim here. Others do!

Love this beach. Not too far from home but feels like an exotic island. Parking and walk is very short to the beach. Parking is not free.

One of my many favorite places!

Our family of six visited here for a couple of hours. The beach wasnt overcrowded and was very clean. The sand was a beautiful powdery white and the water was a nice blue color.We also found many nice shells also. Parking was $2 / hour. There was a place to was your feet and shower. Only 2 bathrooms that allowed one person at a time. Really liked this beach!

We live in lehigh but we love bonitas beaches. Especially the little hickory area. Hard to find parking but so worth the drive.

Had fun with my family, water was not to bad. If you are going to the beach make sure about red tide. Check first before you even leave the house.
