Great park with trails, picnic areas, and more importantly, access to the beach! The only thing I wish they did was taking care of the bathrooms more, because they were dirty (especially the doors) and didnt have any soap in the dispenser. Important to have soap these days due to Coronavirus. For $20 per car, I think its a must to have the bathrooms clean.Aside if this, amazing area!

At 95 acres this is the largest beachfront park in Boca Raton. It spans from the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean with tunnels under A1A. I love to meet friends with boats in the west side of the park since there a a dock for pick up and drop off. With three parking circles and huge banyan trees you can hang out and have a picnic then skip over to the beach for a salty swim, shower off and relax. I always feel like I took a vacation when I go there. Bring your cooler, there are no concesions, and the parking fee is $20 for the carload if you dont have a Boca beach pass.

Love this park! Came in about 45 min till closing and the ranger was nice enough to let us enter for free. Lots of fun and exciting things to do and there is a path from the park strait to the beach, don’t have to even cross the road so its safer for all your loved ones to cross. Ill be bringing my family here from now on. Love parks and this one by far is the cleanest.

It is just an outstanding experience for who has annual pass to enter or willing to pay 18 dollars per car. It is closed to the Spanish River beach so you can park and walk to the beach through the tunnel.Amazing new sliding rope and all new equipment in the playground area.Canoe launch deck is great if you want to enjoy the intro-coastal by canoe. All around is well maintained and full of gazebos and bbqs. Also every year Novembers 2nd Sunday you can run a 5k or a half marathon starting and ending at this beautiful park like I did in 2015.

It’s beautiful, it’s clean, I feel safe, the parking is great, and best of all is my two year old grandson loved it there. The only negative was the cost. It’s a bit pricey for those of us living outside the city limits. I would love to buy an annual pass, but I don’t know if they offer it for unincorporated Boca Raton.

Loved the park. Went to school at a FAU and visited often. If you take the wooded trails on the canal side of the park...be careful with the million banana spiders!!! A friend and I stumbled onto a nightmare, they had the entire trail engulfed in webs. It was horrible but a fun experience.

Great public picknic areas with shady spots out of the sun, lots of restrooms available, many areas to shower off the sand. Pavilions are plentiful and ready to rent for gatherings and such. Neat underground tunnels giving direct access to spacious well guarded beaches. Dogs welcome in certain areas at certain times. Awesome short walks through their mangroves which pass by the intracoastal. Large park with 2 access points to enter and or exit onto A1A. New playgrounds for kids that are clean and well maintained. The park itself is immaculate, you will always see park maintenance crews hard at work. The North area of the park houses Boca Ratons lifeguard headquarters. This park although shares its beaches with the general public as being a free beach to access at 40th Street. To enter the park by vehicle there are fees, its considered private. Locals have the opportunity to gain access by vehicle however for considerably less of a charge with their yearly decals purchased at Town Hall. 40th Street is always popular with surfers when the waves are good, but the lifeguards section off an area that they police so as not to let any swimmers come into contact with them. Parking is plentiful even on busy days. There are disabled parking spots closer to the tunnels to the beach. A fairly new feature to the park is a wheelchair friendly blue plastic like pathway, directly from the beginning of the beach, after the tunnels, that leads out to the middle of the wide beach. This feature is not only very practical but it also saves your poor hot feet on that mid Summer sand ! One final feature worth mentioning is a cozy campground, not large of a space, but just right and hidden away for privacy. Ive even witnessed fishermen hard at work here over the years ! All in all, worth the price - there is enough to do to keep you there for a full day. This has been one of my favorite frequented parks since a child. Enjoy !

I absolutely love this park! Very safe, kid-friendly, and family-friendly. Yes, it is expensive if you do not have an annual pass, but it is worth a visit at least once if you are unable to purchase one. It is my go-to beach. The park rangers and staff are very friendly as well. Ive been living in Boca for 3 years and Spanish River never disappoints.

I and 3 other cars were robbed today in under 5min with people right there who didnt see them. Smashed window, purse, iPad. Professionals and the park rangers know about this. They park on the road and run down to the parking lot. I went here today because of all the outstanding reviews. This is reality. Better to have left the Windows open than locked.

Spanish River Park is an exceptional park that offers both kayak or boat lauching on the intra coastal but also access to the beach. Once you enter the park, enjoy the trails where one can see lots of nature since it is landscaped to attract birds and butterflies. On weekends it offers Bark Beach for tons of happy dogs. The silence in the park is my favorite, it truly feels like a mini vacation. My dog Lailai knows when its Friday, its definitely also her favorite place to be.

Beautiful beach. Very nice park with picnic tables and grills. There is a tunnel that goes under A1A from the park to the beach so you dont have to cross the busy street and is a good place to cool off if it gets too hot. Theres also a long sand rug leading out from the tunnel that helps tremendously if you are bringing anything on wheels. The only downside to this park is the price. They charge by the car rather than by number of people or by amount of time. So even if its just one person going, the price is still $18. For this reason I only recommend this Park if you are bringing others! Its a great option for big groups!
