I enjoyed the lighthouse and gift shop. It is much smaller than many lighthouses that I have been to and since it is actually located on the main street in town it does not have the space to gather around. The gift shop does have the history and some hands on things to help explain its history and much of the history of state.I enjoyed it and I may return. I dont feel that its good for young children as they will quickly become bored.

Cant miss this on Beach Blvd. There are a number of parking spots in front, but will likely fill quickly. This landmark is worth stopping, catch a few snaps with family and read the signs about its history. Not a good spot to park an RV, just not enough space.

Its a lighthouse, but a relatively small one. Only thing that was interesting, was the fact that it is in the middle of the road, so when you go inside you can look down on the street. Just wasnt really impressed with it for how highly reviewed the location is.

The wonderful sunny day and fluffy white clouds behind the light house were so gorgeous just made the photo almost look fake! The guided tour of historic downtown Biloxi,MS ; (Id recommend) the hurricane memorial along with miles down the median of whats left of many, many large destroyed trees , and instead of cutting them down and removing them, amazing artists transformed them into beautifully carved tree trunks

You would need to go Visitor center in order to go to Lighthouse. When i went, tour to Biloxi lighthouse was from 9-9:30 Am only, so better check them ahead and plan if you want to take that tour. The people at the Visitor center werent friendly, they dint even cared whos walking in or leaving. But it has some displays on Biloxi’s history which is worth checking

I have been a patient of Dr Kabir for a few years now. I am 50yo and never have been so satisfied. If only we have more Drs like him I think we’d have better relationships with our PCPs. His strengths are he listens to you and your concerns, VERY thorough, and seems to be concerned about his patients. Only downside is he don’t see pediatrics as I’d love for him to be able to follow my children’s medical care. I’d recommend everyone to him. Thanks Dr Kabir!Blessings to you and your family.Sharon Trejo

If you like to travel to explore, make it a point to visit the Visitor Center of every town you visit. While on I10, Id suggest take a detour for a couple of hours and follow the parallel Oceanic Route of Highway 90.This beautiful highway runs parallel to gulf of Mexico and id dotted with small towns like Biloxi & Gulf Port with beautiful & quite beaches. We visited the visitor center during Christmas Holidays and were fortunate to witness weekend Bazaar there.Locals had setup shops to sell local crafts/ handmade items and each of them were simply amazing. The price was unbelievably less. My wife ended up buying loadsa jewelry at 1/3rd the cost of what we would find in our city.Inside the visitor center, we were quite impressed by how the little town celebrates its diversity. Specially in these times of division which is propping up.They had put up stories and family pictures of many immigrant families of the town who came & settled there generations ago and how they have been contributing to the economy. The gift shop has a lot of beautiful items to sell too..And then of course the lighthouse is worth a click..

Biloxi Lighthouse in Mississippi. Bright blue skies, calm waters, but it rained 20 minutes ago, so no tours for the rest of the day! Are you kidding me? The grass is wet and the stairs are metal is the reason given. We drove from Texas (2 states away, 8+ hours) to be here (and arrived 9:05 am - on time) and we get turned away! Heres an idea - Buy a door mat and have people wipe their feet!Four other families arrived and turned away as we were leaving. One of those families - a family of six - were from Kansas. Yup, I guess the lighthouse doesnt need the extra income or tourism. I hope never to visit Biloxi again.

Its a lighthouse so its already awesome. But, this one sits in the middle of the road. Good news is there is a parking lot easily accessible from either direction where you can pull into and get some photos of it. We have stopped to see it day and night now, stopped on a foggy night in March this year and it was very pretty all lit up at night.

Its a nice and scenic beach parking lot with a good atmosphere to be close to the beach. There is quite a bit of history here being the lighthouse dates back to the founding of the Coast and this beach hangout is in the prime district of Biloxi. The Lighthouse is in the median on the highway visible from traffic, across the street from the Biloxi visitors center and less than a quarter mile away from the casino row and the restaurants.
