Pros - Beautiful view. Good location. We attended a wedding here and it was lovely. Cons - Staff was great, except one was very abrupt...bordering on rude. Literally ripped an alcoholic beverage out of my hand due to 10pm curfew, with no warning, while reprimanding me as if I were a child. A kind verbal notice would have been much appreciated. It was a wedding after all. Also, very expensive.

The hotel was nice - not spectacular. The golf course is great to look at - but difficult and arguably unfair if you are playing it for the first time. You can hit a blind shot into the middle of a fairway only to find when you get there that there is a patch of knee deep rough secretly positioned just out of sight from the tee box!

Perfect course conditions! One of my favorites. Service has always been friendly, accommodations are wonderful, course is stunning and very challenging.

Very Covid Safe. We had a luxurious room in the Highlands Lodge section of Tetherow Resort. Our room (204) had a balcony with gorgeous sunset views of the golf course & Mt. Bachelor. The room was large with 2 queen beds, a sofa sitting area with TV & fireplace & an entry foyer alcove to place suitcases. (A very well designed room layout!!!)Also, we had a small kitchenette w/coffee maker, small refrigerator, small sink & microwave.We enjoyed the large bathroom w/2 sink vanity, good lighting & a hand held shower head for the ladies. Turner Classic Movie (TCM) channel and HBO in addition to many other commercial channels.

A very nice place to stay. Pool and guest services were excellent. We were road weary and found this place. Very near to the river and if you like golf this is the place to be.

Tetherow is one of the best clubs in Bend, with great facilities, rooms, restaurants, and one of the tougher golf courses in Bend.

I’m giving them 4 stars bc the place is nice and so is all of the staff. BUT... haha, this course is a nightmare! Played 36 and it was war every hole! My head was spinning! 87 first round, 103 second round. The problem was they were all the same shots, just WAY different bounces. Felt gimmicky, bank shot fairways. I believe the nickname is deatherow, where balls go to die!If you come to play, gooooooood luck! :)

We used and paid for the hotel shuttle from the Redmond airport. Our driver, Phil, was professional, on time, and personable. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We found that the free shuttle to downtown help make our stay very convenient.

I was super excited to visit Tetherow, we booked the nicest king suite and planned to tour the venue.Upon arrival I was pleased with the close proximity to Bend, however upon approach you enter what feels like a cookie cutter sub development under construction.We, checked in, the customer service was helpful. The cost of the room with all the fees including a 75 pet fee was rich compared to many nicer options in the area. We found our room at the basement level which felt a bit odd. The room was spacious but it was surprisingly beat up for being so new, the quality just wasn’t there including cracked glasses. This perception was confirmed at night when you could hear everything from above! I’ve stayed in apartments better insulated.We explored the grounds and got lunch, the laid back restaurant was pretty empty early December. With no customers I have no idea why it was so dirty, the floor was gross. The food was some of the worst I’ve had in Bend and sure enough I got food poisoning and was vomiting the entire way home Sunday.The ladies working the venue space were super friendly and the space is nice with a business conference vibe. It doesn’t feel very private but it could be good for big parties.I found it bizarre they claim to be dog friendly but then your not really allowed to have them anywhere and they can’t be in the room without you....I wouldn’t go back, I definitely wouldn’t ask my loved ones to go there... it felt like one big facade.Definitely got some solid marketing going on.

We waited over an hour for coffee one morning when they forgot to restock it. Room faced the parking lot despite a lofty description about facing the course or the cascades. Service was so-so overall. Gold is >$200pp and requires caddy but driving range included. Not as close to town. The wait at The Row was passable at dinner and awful at breakfast - not a single person in the place.

I love the staff that work at tethrow. They go above and beyond to help and make any activity or dining experience great. Frank has been so wonderful to get to know. Hes a gem, and theyre lucky to have him as an employee.

Beautiful setting, spacious clean and well appointed room. The entry way nor the main room light worked. We did not get maid service after requesting it. When we called, we were told that it was the morning staff’s fault. Two hours later, we were brought clean towels with no further explanation.

Played golf at Tetherow while on vacation and could not be happier! Very fun, challenging, and unique golf experience with amazing an amazing, helpful staff. A must stop spot on a golf trip in central Oregon!

Very nice rooms. They even put a bottle of sparkling wine on ice in our room. We went for our anniversary celebration and they went the extra mile. The Row restaurant and bar has Scott eggs and a few different things to try.

Really loved our weekend at Tetherow! We rented a large house to accommodate multiple families with toddler aged children and were blown away by the design and functionality of the home. All the staff members we encountered were kind and helpful. Two nights wasnt enough- hoping to get a week long retreat on the books at Tetherow soon!

Beautiful huge rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing views. Using the gold range is free for guests. Huge suite sized rooms with mini fridge, wine glasses, luxury robes. Soaking tub and shower. Balcony over the golf course and mountain views. Always love staying here.

They advertise this as a “dog friendly” resort. They also claim this is the top resort in Oregon. Both of these claims are absolute nonsense.First hour experience: The front desk can’t be bothered to answer the phone. We gave up attempting to get resort information and walk to the bar where the dogs are not welcome, not even on patio. In fact, the dogs are not welcome ANYWHERE on property, they can’t even stay in the room unattended. This policy makes dog OWNERS not welcome ANYWHERE on property as they have to sit with the dogs in the room.If you are accustomed to nice resorts that provide a higher level of service and of quality facilities, DO NOT STAY HERE, you will be disappointed. This resort NOT what they advertise.

First time staying in the Bend area, we had rented the Storm King 5 for our friends Birthday with such a large group this was the perfect place! All of the bedrooms were located down on the main floor, each with their own bathroom which was extremely convenient. Each room also had extra blankets in each closet which was nice to have. The upstairs hosted a kitchen, living room and large porch with bbq. We decide to bbq steaks our first night and it was nice to be able to be part of the group while bbqing instead of down on the first floor. The rest of the appliances in the kitchen were extremely hard to use. I dont think we ever really understood how to ignite the oven correctly. The fridge was placed inside trim that didnt allow for the doors to open all the way and the ice machine was VERY slow. The whole place was very modern but i think being a little more user friendly would have been nice. One thing we also really liked was that there was a full washer and dryer inside the unit so we were able to wash towels for night two as we all used the hot tub on our first night. I think for the amount of people this place was able to host the price was fair. I think if i were to come back to town with a large group I would come here again.

I stayed at the Tetherow for a business trip and brought my wife along. The amenities are amazing! Theres a large gym onsite complete with immaculate lockers rooms. The outdoor pool is heated and open year round. The room was very large with no expense spared and overlooked the beautiful golf course. This is my new go to place to stay even on non-business trips. I almost forgot to mention, the staff is very courteous and friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

Immaculate rooms with very impressive attention to small details that make a big difference. The staff was SO friendly and accommodating. The mountain views took my breath away. Very special place with an incredible atmosphere all around.

We have stayed in Resorts/Hotels all over the world, but Tetherow was by far the best all-around. The staff was incredibly friendly and thoughtful (big thank you to AJ and Bevin). Our room was immaculate and the accommodations were phenomenal...the soaking tub, fireplace and views of the golf course could not be beat. Speaking of golf, the golf course on premises was one of the top two courses I have ever played. Ever. Beautifully maintained and incredible views. From start to finish the best traveling experience of our lives! We will be back and would recommend Tetherow to anyone looking for an amazing experience in Bend, OR.

This was the most amazing place! everything is at your access! the hot tub and pool area is so GREAT!. you can eat or drink at the pool. they have sauna and steam rooms. gym, restaurants. best bloody mary!! such amazing treats for the pup! will be back and will tell everyone!

Great location near town as well as Mt. Bachelor for skiing. Thankfully I was invited by a fellow realtor team to listen to their take on the coming market in this cozy banquet room with glass walls and intense views. Excellent food and wine by the glass.

My wife and I had breakfast here about mid January and the staff in-service was amazing. The food was astounding. The prices were reasonable. I am still blown away from the toast I had with the homemade jam.

We stumbled upon this resort by accident (Expedia find!) and we will now be back 1000 times. The hotel rooms are beyond amazing and in immaculate condition. The views are great and the staff went above and beyond for us. I highly highly recommend!

Our stay was great until an item was left behind. When calling to inquire about having my item shipped I was told it wasnt found and that all appropriate staff was contacted. I wasnt satisfied with them telling me this so I pursued it further. Hotel staff where asked again when I was able to identify the two young ladies who cleaned our room. Suddenly, my item was found and shipped. Two week later I received my item because the staff wasnt able to address it properly. If only the staff were trained better and were able to listen. Being lied to isnt ideal but if youre willing to stay at a place with 4-5 star accommodations with staff lacking better judgment this is the place for you.

Avid golfer here. I go to Central Oregon each year for a guys golf trip and was looking forward to re-visiting Tetherow after not playing here for a few years. While the course was in fine shape, the service of the employees was so far below what Id expect in a >$150/ round course my friends and I will probably not be back next year. Now specifics...1. There was a block group of about 6 foursomes teeing off ahead of us. Not a big deal, the pro shop, starter and marshal assured us they would keep pace (told it was expected to by 4 1/2 hours). They even have a timer in the GPS enabled carts that warns when your behind pace. Well it turned out to be over 5 hours and made us miss the afternoon time we booked for a replay (more on that later). At one point there were 5 groups on a par 5. One on the green, one in the fairway, one just teeing off, the group in front of us waiting, and us driving up from the last hole. We shared our concern with the marshal at the turn and he assured us we werent that far behind pace and to relax and enjoy the sun.2. We drove straight from the 18th tee to the pro shop to ask if we could still get out for the second 18 (we figured the course would be empty by 3:30pm). He said there was a six(!) person group playing the first hole and if we played through the course would be wide open after that. Well, we caught up with that group on the second tee and they informed us it was completely stacked up in front of them. We played that hole as a group of 9 (!) to see what it looked like after, and saw group after group over the next few holes. We quit and went in to ask for a refund.So the big takeaways are: A) They seem to care more about catering the the larger groups (who they make more money on) than the daily players and B)Despite all the technology from the GPS in the carts they have no idea (or dont care) how packed the course is.Next year....Well skip Tetherow and go to Pronghorn.

I’m not one to ever write reviews but I have to say we were pretty disappointed with the customer service. During the booking process there was a mistake made and when it came to checkin, Bevan the desk agent offered absolutely no help. His attitude towards us left us with a pretty sour taste in our mouth. Wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend Tetherow to others.

My daughter and I stayed for three nights. Nice hotel staff. We booked the larger corner suite. Neither TV’s remote worked, both had wires dangling. A maintenance technician repaired the main TV when we checked in. This same TV was out completely the day we checked out. Called to have our rooms made up on the second day which was not done. Used the gym once, beautiful new gym. Used the advertised as “free” courtesy shuttle three times for rides to town. Upon check out I asked about the $95.00 resort fee on our bill, was told it was applied to all guests equally to cover the costs of the WiFi and the courtesy shuttle. We would have used Uber in order to avoid this hidden charge. Hotels and Resorts shouldn’t apply sneaky fees to their guests. It is a beautiful resort but in all fairness this hotel should refund my folio a half day room charge back due to lack of agreed upon room service and for non-working equipment; e.g. TVs.

Beautiful new town in central Oregon with more outdoor activities than any other place I know.

We had our wedding at Tetherow earlier this month and it was amazing! We stayed on site with friends and family for 4 days and had the best time. Everything about our time at Tetherow was perfect from golfing, to spending time at the pool to the wedding day itself. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. The homes and hotel rooms are all beautiful. I cant wait to go back to visit again and again!

I have visited Tetherow for two separate professional events. In both cases, all staff were friendly, responsive, and happy. Each also seemed comfortable and confident, as though its a pleasant place to work. The views from this location are beautiful. Yes, of course, there are mountains, but the tree line is just as impressive. The architecture and design compliments the geography very well, as well.

Were REGULARS LIVE in Bend VERY DISAPPOINTED LUNCH THE LAST TIME ALWAYS LOVE SMOKED PORK SALAD. HALF THE SIZE QUALITY NOT THE SAME, BREAKFAST SERVICE TERRIBLE FOOD COLD. WONT BE BACK, SAD WAS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES.

Excellent service, quiet ambiance, loved our dinners

Wonderful stay. Although its obviously one of the pricer hotels in Bend, there is a good reason for it. Top to bottom you will be blown away by your stay. From the check-in desk to the hotel rooms, to the spa and restaurants. You feel more like you are a guest at a friends country club than you do a hotel tourist. Other than the smoke and haze while we were there from the wildfires, it was perfect.

Frank was an outstanding waiter. We have been to this location before, but have not had the wonderful service we did tonight. We will continue to recommend this to our friends, and plan to return again soon.

What can I say - beautiful.

The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The view was great. The food is wonderful! They have a shuttle available that will take you to the Old Mill District. Fireplace in the room was a plus! I would come back again when its warmer to swim, golf and adventure more.

Absolutely magnificent place to stay in Bend. Everyone on staff was super attentive, friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. The view from our room facing the golf course was spectacular. Cannot recommend this resort enough.

One of the nicest courses Ive played in the Bend area.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is not so much a hotel as a golf resort so I would highly recommend booking a room facing the golf course on a higher floor. We had a corner room on the 2nd floor of the Cascade Lodge and the views as well as the room were terrific. The room is basically a beautifully designed small apartment that comes with locally-made products. The fragrant hand soaps were heavenly and the coffee was so good we drove to Sisters to buy some to take home. Even though there was a golf tournament going on, the room was very quiet. We especially liked that the hotel rooms were in an apartment-like building while the hotel registration and restaurants were in separate buildings. The service was terrific in both the hotel and The Grill Restaurant. Cheyne, who showed us to our room, was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and even gave us a great restaurant recommendation in town. Bruno, at The Grill, was also super friendly and the food there is very good. The location of the hotel is very nice. Its only a few minutes drive from town but it feels much more remote. Overall, we would highly recommend it and in fact are planning to go back.

Every year a group of 24 of us do an annual golf trip, this year we chose Tetherow and were thoroughly impressed from top to bottom, we rented 5 vacation homes with were outstanding, provided everything we needed and were walking distance to the first 2. The resort staff is amazing, from the pro shop to the hospitality staff, to the chef and food service staff that did our meals both at our houses and at the onsite restaurants. The course is beautiful, we played it 3 times, each round was different and it received great reviews from all of the participants in our tournament. We dont often go to the same facility twice but the West Coast Cup may come back to Tetherow, thanks especially to Anne, Jen, Scott, and Jake that made everything run more smoothly than I ever could have thought.

Had our family reunion here. Awesome views and vacation homes are huge!! Sunsets every night are beautiful by the gas fire pits and hot tub.

This is strictly for the golf course and the experience I had this week. Two of my friends and I visit the Bend area each May for a buddies golf trip and we had played Tetherow before with no issue. The golf course itself is fantastic and a blast to play. However, we were behind a group of four foursomes who did not appear to have much experience playing. We were told that with the new GPS systems in the carts that playing time had been reduced and we should expect a 4.5 hour round. With that in mind we canceled a tee time for an afternoon round elsewhere in Bend in exchange for a replay rate on Tetherow 5 hours after our morning time. The GPS systems are great and they tell you when you are behind pace, which we were from the start. At the turn we were about 17 minutes behind pace and we were told to “relax and enjoy the sun”. Well, it would have been easier to relax had we not had to wait on every shot and that is not an exaggeration. We got to know the group in front of us well as we saw them on every hole. We wound up finishing in just over 5 hours and had to sprint to our next time. We got placed behind a five some in like 4 carts. The staff was kind enough to drive out there to ask them to let us play through and promised it would be smooth sailing once we got through them. When we got to the tee at #2 there were 4 groups on that hole! We wound up playing that hole as an 8-some and when we got to #3 we were waiting on a TWOSOME to finish! And all we could see in front of us were group after group. I felt like the pro shop should have been honest with us about how busy it was and the likelihood of us finishing at a reasonable hour. Thankfully they refunded our fee after we drove in only having played two holes. When we got back there was no apology at all and basically got the feeling that they didn’t care about our experience. I expect far more when paying $150 to play a golf course than what we got out of our experience.

I played in a Tournament there last week. What a beautiful golf course. A must play. Though difficult, It was very enjoyable. My caddie , Lewis was incredible. Thank you Lewis. The only downfall was the freshly sanded greens. But no complaints.

Tetherow Golf Club is home to one of the top-rated and finest championship golf courses in Oregon. The excellent links-style layout contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Definitely a course that will challenge your all-round game, and well worth going out of your way to play.

Beautiful established

Such a nice resort. Immaculate rooms and grounds, with a full health club and pool. Only reason I can’t give five stars was the service in the cafe. Watching 3 people behind the counter ignore customers and their weeded cashier was not fun, and it seemed particularly unsavory given the elegance of the rest of the surroundings. Send that management team to Las Vegas to bone up on hospitality fundamentals and give your trainees the support they need!
