Great location. Hardys burger joint is close with good food. River is beautiful if you upgrade to a riverview room. With all the Covid the bar and seating area are closed but in a with great views on outside patio. The concierge employees were all very friendly, letting us check in early.

Love this place rooms are big new clean. Price is reasonable, restaurant is really good! Staff is fantastic very accommodating and helpful. Have stayed there 4weeks out of the last 2 and a half months and will continue to its great!

This is the type of place I want people I visit to recommend. Fantastic views, great location, and amazing staff. The beds were comfy, the balcony was perfect with the river running below. Fireplace added such a cozy touch to the room. Both the room and bath were large, and the closet had a ton of space so everything was put up out of the way. When we got there the TV was not working, their maintenance worker came quickly, got it working and was so kind. Parking was great, tons of spaces. 10/10 will stay here again.

Loved this property on the river. Stayed 4 nights over Labor Day weekend playing golf in the area . Rooms ok, clean. Currents Restaurant great. Food good with lovely outdoor seating in the sun or shade. Service was good but a little slow during Labor Day weekend. (As expected)

Amazing place! We got an email for a great deal and decided to just book it! We loved our river view, fireplace, comfortable room, great service, and ideal location. As a teacher, I needed strong internet for my zoom classes - it wasn’t perfect but pretty strong (which I have learned is challenging for hotels with all the zooming these days). We had breakfast delivered both days - tasty and generous portions! Definitely recommend this place!

We loved the location right on the river. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice view while eating our dinner at Currents. My suggestion is that you stay on the top floor because you can hear the people above you. It was very quiet from 9 pm on. We were able to easily explore nearby attractions. We also went on the Deschutes River trail which was .25 mile from our room. The pool area was very clean. Great stay!

I was originally staying at the Sugarloaf Hotel in Bend. I walked over to Riverhouse to get dinner at Currents two nights in a row. Bella, the hostess, was probably one of the most delightful hostess Ive ever interacted with. She made me feel so valued and was able to wiggle me in between two existing reservations so I could sit by the river and have a glass of wine. Because of her phenomenal service two days in a row, I decided to stay here for my third night in town. That evening, upon checking, I met Bobby at the front desk. He was respectful and acted with seamless integrity. He made sure I liked my room (he called the room to ensure it was what I expected). I was grinning from ear to ear.When I woke up the following morning, I had a slightly frustrating interaction with a different employee. I spoke up about the frustrating instance and shared that I had a great time overall. When I was packing up, the assistant general manager (Phillip) called my room and explained, in helpful detail, why that staff member was feeling that way (and the housekeeping staff overall) and extended my check out.This hotel has a staff of incredible humans and a team of leaders that value their employees, stand up for them, and yet still find a way to cherish their customers. The frustrating interaction with the employee actually helped to cement this business impeccable team. Please remind yourself that housekeeping/cleaning/etc is a front line service! These people are risking their safety to provide a service for others.Phenomenal experience overall.

We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river. The balcony and river view was wonderful, although the balcony chairs were dirty. The fireplace was a nice touch, but could only get one log at time. The room, although large, did not live up to my expectations for the money. There was a good size stain on the carpet, freezer was not clean, bed looked like it was made by an 8 year old...

Very nice place to stay. Clean, well opportioned, with attentive staff. The Deschutes River runs through the middle of the complex and people fish for trout there! Nice kitchens and very comfortable beds. Youre right in the middle of things, but the landscaping does an excellent job of making you feel like youre away from town. Favorite place to stay in Bend

This is probably my favorite hotel yet. Rivers views... Amazing. The hiking trails down around the water, the pool, the old cabin and history of it, very neat. Nice large, well updated rooms. Great service. Nice towels, beds, and clean. Our family really enjoyed our stay and will return.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the view of the river was gorgeous. The hotel is also pet friendly so it was nice to be able to bring our dog. We very much enjoyed the restaurant and the menu! We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful location the restaurant has amazing food The rooms are nice and clean. The reason for three stars instead of five has to do with the fact that you hear EVERYTHING ABOVE YOU THE STOMPING THE RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE HALLS... makes for a difficult night of sleep even if you have the TV on. we will be back but we will not get a downstairs room again I would advise you all to do the same.

Situated right on the river, this quiet and picturesque hotel is definitely one to book as an anchor point for a trip for a fun in the sun. Make sure you stay more than one night so you can really enjoy the place.

Burger looked amazing however Im pretty sure they did not put any salt on the meat. Very bland and over cooked. Cant go wrong with an RPM on a river though. We made it work even with the service provided.

We just did a one night stop. The service staff is one of their strengths. The setting for their restaurant and bar is ++. The turkey wing and leg appetizer didnt disappoint. It was unique and we enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and clean. The only negative for us was the location. It is a drive to get anywhere. We would prefer a place closer to downtown next time we visit bend

The restaurant inside the motel has good food and good drinks, not a big selection but what they do have is delicious, the motel itself is a nice spot on the river, the rooms are cozy and comfortable I just wish they had extra blankets in the room.

Honestly great service and good view. I had the grilled salmon and was delicious. The hotel is nice as well.

I spoke multiple times with Shauna at reception during the wildfire smoke in Bend while the air was hazardous. She answered all of my questions about air quality, COVID precautions, pet friendly rooms and was extremely accommodating and flexible as plans changed - not to mention extremely kind! Based on my experience with Shauna alone, I would highly recommend Riverhouse to all of my family and friends.

Nice little spot straddling the river. Two nice pools. Friendly service. Lots to explore, and pet-friendly too. On the downside, it took them a half hour to get a blanket for my kid, at bedtime. The restaurant was quite slow and ran out of many things.

Wonderful location, terrific and attentive staff, expertly cleaned rooms gorgeous surroundings. This was a wonderful experience considering the circumstances in the world. It was an oasis in the high desert. Did I mention the restaurant Currents was excellent. This is now the only place I will stay in Bend!

Very clean and beautiful property! However the purpose for hotels is to have a place to sleep for the night and I had to sleep on the sofa sleeper which is fine, however, It was like sleeping directly on the metal springs. I don’t think those mattresses have any padding on top whatsoever as I was able to feel and locate each spring. Did not sleep well at all.

I wanted to love this place, but sadly it was the complete opposite. Based on the reviews and pictures, I selected this place over the Holiday Inn Exprees & quickly was disappointedI did. The carpets in the hall were filthy. Walking into the main hall there were towels that appeared to be wet thrown on the floor. Drunk people arguing outside as I walked with my nephew to the lobby. Just overall was not impressed and definitely will not be back. For the price they charge per night, Id expect better.

This hotel is very nice. Its on a beautiful river and the rooms are quite nice. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the pillows. My boyfriend is COVID fearful so I cleaned everything with one of their white washcloths soaked in rubbing alcohol as soon as we arrived. Everything was clean except for the footstool that holds the luggage. When I wiped it down the washcloth was quite dirty. But the bathroom and the beds were clean as well as all the surfaces, chairs and headboards. The tv remote was covered in a plastic bag which I assume is changed between guests. Also, we have 2 dogs and they are pet friendly. They even gave us dog dishes, toys and treats! I highly recommend this place and would have given 5 stars if it werent for the footstool.

Positive: Location on the river, close to Hwy is convenient. Negative: Room was not ready for check-in until after 7 PM. Bedding a large ball of hair stuck to it.

The room is clean and pretty nice but the hallways to the rooms kindof smell bad, look dirty and run down . The outside area appears nice so thats good. We thought we booked a room with a river view but apparently we were wrong and it is another 30 bucks so it is what it is. Our money will be spent elsewhere in the future.

Due to CoVid-19 we sat outside next to the running river for happy hour. Ambiance was wonderful and when we got the munchies we had the calamari and dove into the large Riverhouse burger which was cooked to perfection. If you want a get-away to have a couple of brews, this fits the bill.

Due to the sheer volume of fake five star reviews left for companies, by companies, the highest score I ever give to any company offering the best product or service is four stars. This having been said, my wife and I have stayed here twice. The atmosphere is good to great, the restaurant is great. My only recommendation would be a discount for return customers. It would certainly encourage my travel from Eugene more frequently.

We came here for my Birthday weekend so there’s always a lot of expectations for special events. I can say I wasn’t disappointed and had a Great time!! We stayed in suite overlooking the river. The view was great and the room was nice. It was very peaceful with nice beds/bathrooms and we slept great. Very close to amazing hiking, within walking distance. Would stay again and bring family and friends.

I have stayed here many times for business.But being in Bend it never really feels like your on business!From the moment I arrived at the hotel lobby I have been greeted with nothing but the friendliest hospitality and service.The location is great, sitting right on the bank of the Deschutes River.There is a great on site restaurant, Currents, that offers room service for breakfast and dinner. It offers lunch in the restaurant.The hotel also has an on-site premier Day Spa, Drift Spa.Great place to stay for work or pleasure.

This places had drop in service quality. Food was still really good. Kudos to the cooks. The service from the hostess and waitress wasnt what it was before. Plus i noticed that building itself is in need of repair.

The rooms are very very nice. The front desk needs more support. After waiting over 30 minutes on hold two separate times, and a lengthy checkin process, I would say they need more staff for checking in. Otherwise no complaints- great rooms, nice place along the river.

My 11 year old found a vaping cartridge sitting on the couch in our room. He had no idea what it was and picked it up. I called the front desk and let them know the room had not properly been cleaned. The front desk person could not have cared less.

We had a great dinner at Currents, thats restaurant associated with the hotel. Sheets were amazing. Rooms were nice and clean clean. Great view the river. This was our third time staying.

We only stayed for one quick over night but the room was beautiful with a view of the river. Close to downtown which made us happy. Maybe next time we can take advantage of the on-site spa and restaurant!

Horrible staff. The room was dirty, and not cleaned thoroughly. The room had a dirty kitchen, and food on the ground. There was cleaning supplies left in the bathroom and half empty shampoo/ soap bottles. There was discoloring and mildew inside the freezer. When i reported to the staff to get a refund, or another room they were very rude and disrespectful. They did not apologize for the condition of the room nor understand the frustration. When i became escalated due to the staff being rude, they threatened to call the cops. No customer deserves this type of treatment

Good hotel. Good restaurant. Pool was okay. View was the parking. But overall good experience.

Beautiful setting. We were so enamored to have the river this close to the hotel, we just left our door open for the relaxing sound and pure evening air. Beer selection was a fantastic microcosm of the vast selection of Bend breweries. Few domestic beers offered which was a good sign. Virtually no one on the west side of property, so soak up the solitude for an introspective morning walk across the bridge. The doormans service was phenomenal! Extremely friendly and professional.

The setting is gorgeous. When we checked in i wasnt given the warmest of welcomes. The front desk staff gave us the bare minimum when checking in.

Stunning property! We spent Christmas Eve in a beautiful bungalow that sat on the rushing water. The hotel provided wood for the incredible fireplace and the dinner my family and I had was excellent! We’ll be back without hesitation

Great place to spend a couple of nights. A river runs through the property. If youre lucky, get a room in the Sagebrush building.

Nice place however we were 1st floor river view and the upstairs noise form the hallway and other guests in their rooms was very bad 7-9am and 5-9pm. We ended up just leaving the TV on to help drown it out but that was a big detractor. The sliding doors to the rooms were extremely bad and needed maintenance. You could here others struggle with theirs as well which made a very loud sound when it finally moved. The indoor pool was nice until it was overrun by families not interested in social distancing. During our time at the pool the towels were restocked but we never saw anyone clean the pool chairs or tables especially with COVID restrictions still in place I’d expect to see an effort made. All in all I would likely stay somewhere else.CONS: Parking was usually full, noise was bad, and lack of cleaning public shared spaces.PROS: River views available and you can walk over it easily. Pool area was nice but overrun and not cleaned.

Make sure you get a room that doesnt have one of those adjoining room doors - you will hear your neighbors entire conversation even with them speaking in normal voices. Also, during the pandemic, bring your own blankets because they only provide you with sheets.

Great service, great food. Loved sitting next to the rapids of the river. Try the jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp. Great way to whet your appetite.

This place was fantastic for our quick trip to Bend. Our room had an incredible view of the river and was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was cozy. Everything was just perfect, and we would love to stay here again! We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the restaurant but the views from the patio were also very nice.

From the moment we walked in to the second we left the Riverhouse it was a strange and awful vibe and experience. The workers were tired & confused, visibly mismanaged and understaffed. The hotel had strict COVID signs however rules not enforced, open containers and parties with lots of noise in the evening. People were everywhere. Clean hotel & amazing location, such a shame they cannot run it in a fashion to SERVE their guests, I was refreshed the pool was open for the guests but dont expect to enjoy their food or laundry services in good fashion. We waited over 1 hour to be seated for dinner then 1hr and 20 minutes after we ordered the dinner did we see our $130 meal. 2 of the 3 arrived, 5 minutes later the last came but it was a cold steak, so our family ate separately, but with an amazing view. Our dinner experience took away the time we were going to use the swimming pool, such a shame. We had no BLANKETS or sheets for the pull out couch, we requested these at check in around 7pm, called at 10:30 to find out what happened, then again around 11pm. The front desk ga final call was rude, said if I wanted linens I would need to walk downstairs across the bridge and around the building to the office to retrieve them myself, remember this is after 11pm. Finally a nice lady that worked at the front desk delivered them. Our queen bed was the worst nights sleep ever and my 13 yo had springs giving her a bad nights sleep! The pool hours opening at 10am and checkout is only 1 hr later is poor customer service. Overall major disappointment.

Room was large and it was clean, but you hear every noise from above and around. Recommend not getting room on the first floor. Beds are too firm.

Even with 3 feet of snow on the ground this place is lovely. Only draw back was the ice in the parking lots. I could see someone falling and getting really hurt, maybe run over.Our King suite with fireplace was wonderful. A little cold, because the draft coming down the chimney, one fire log was provided. Nice ambiance, but I suggest a gas upgrade. We will be back! Cheers

Such a great place to stay. Lots to do at the hotel itself and it was very clean. Staff was extremely accommodating and hospitable. Pet friendly! When we checked in, they even gave my puppy a gift. Our room was overlooking the river and it was so peaceful!

Staff was excellent but there is grossly insufficient insulation between rooms. The sound of talking, walking banging from other rooms is endless. Talking in parking lot sounds like the people are in your room. If quiet is reasonably expected you will be greatlydisappointed. Also, the pictures indicate a river view. Many rooms are parking lot view. Ill never stay her again

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Refrigerator with freezer. Two stories. Hallway in the middle. Each room has a balcony, or balcony door to outside. Some rooms are facing a river, others parking lot. Two pools -one outside and one inside, +jacuzzi.

The hostess was great. The bartender made a delicious berry virgin drink. Our waiter, Jeffrey, was fantastic! Very efficient and friendly. The chief, Michael Stanton, did an amazing job on our Filet Mignons. We enjoyed the view of the river. Very good!

Very large clean room! The room opens up to the beautiful Deschutes River. It has a fire place with a log you can use to make a fire in the evening. Very nice gym for early morning workouts. Bar area was great for an evening drink.House keeping was very friendly. The restaurant food was excellent. I would stay again.

I chose this place because of the reviews, I wanted to have a good experience given Im in town for a funeral. My first experience walking into the building was walking over dirty laundry to get to the hall where my room was, I then have dirty laundry in my closet along with trash. The sofa hide a bed was broken, but I fixed it. The vending machine on my level didnt work. It was just all snowballing so my experience was not great.

Our first time going through Bend and just picked a random location for an overnight stay. We made the best choice!Check in was a breeze, staff was friendly and helpful. We had an amazing room on the second floor overlooking the river. Kept sliding door open all night to listen to it.Wish there was more to tell about it and Bend but it is time to continue the drive...

Positive: Staff were kind and accommodating when we had issues with our first room. They were prompt in dealing with other issues as well and we were compensated. Loved the river and cabin and location. Negative: Cleanliness was an issue, as well as the plumbing.

Philip at the desk was so helpful and friendly. During a visit to getaway from home during quarantine he arranged the deck for us girls to sunbath. Bringing us water and asking if we need anything. Answered all my questions about our room and stay . I will be back and recommend this place

Wonderful room and accomodations! The front desk staff were less than friendly but since you only deal with them briefly it didnt effect our stay experience! The prices were very reasonable.

We stayed here about 22 years ago and I remember it being a great room and posh resort,,But now it is old,,The halls smell like musty and the rugs were so dirty just walking to the room. For the price they charge for these rooms,,It is not worth it,,They need to renovate badly.As we stepped inside the room,same musty order,,I saw a hair on the bathroom sink,I told my boyfriend,I needed some lysol and disinfectant spray.We had to leave after our hike,,I was having heart issues,,But it was probably a blessing in disguise .Save your hard earned money ~~

Super friendly staff coupled with a pet friendly PLUS option makes this our favorite place to stay whenever were in town! Couldnt believe the price after walking around the grounds and into the lobby! Honestly this place is a hidden SCORE in one of the BEST places in Oregon! Coming from the east coast I can honestly say the staff GETS IT!!

We stayed here for the weekend of our one year anniversary! We love Bend and all the attractions, now we will continue to use the Riverhouse every time we come to bend!Clean updated rooms, great staff!

Nice place and great setting, but the facilities are old and not being adequately maintained

I am pretty picky on cleanliness and this place was great. The view of the river from our room was absolutely beautiful! There is a nice dog walking area by the river and a cute bridge to walk across the river. The self laundry was frustrating since the one up top was closed when I tried and the one in the fitness area did not have a quarter machine. This created lots of walking around with my laundry trying to figure things out. There is also a horrible set up for the one washer and 2 dryers in the fitness area with the top dryer door blocking you from getting your laundry from the washer. They were also over running an air machine that caused the air to be very suffocating to me. I certainly wouldnt be able to work out in there! The staff was always super friendly and helpful, and the bar service good. I enjoyed trying the homemade soups and desserts. The meals were pretty good, but not the best in town, and especially not for the price. The price justifies the convenience and chef flavor quality I guess. My eggs were undercooked the 1st day so I didnt bother with breakfast again, and went to McKays down the street instead. The calamari was overcooked, but good. There is plenty available within walking distance to meet all needs and budgets. The Natural Grocery across the street is very nice. I also appreciated the rooms being great for very cold weather. They seemed to have thicker walls. Since there was quite a bit of snow, and temperatures of 1° real feel, it was nice to have a warm room, but the air was very dry because of the heat. I would definitely stay here again, especially for the price of the room, helpful staff, and the view associated.

Beautiful hotel that allows pets. Our room on the first floor opened up right next to the river which made it super easy to take the dog out. Plus we left the sliding door ajar all night to hear the river. The hotel features an indoor AND outdoor pool and sauna. Room was large and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Staff was courteous and helpful. Definitely the plac2 to stay in Bend.

Worst hotel (actually this is a motel) stay ever! This property is so run down. The outdoor pool has been broke for a year even though I called ahead and asked if the outside pool was open and was lied to so that I would book. Neither hot tube was working. The indoor pool was suppose to be heated and it was freezing. My room was dirty and the fridge had so much gunk/ dirt we didnt use it, I decided to just drink the stuff I brought warm instead. There were no blankets what so ever in the room. The 2 days we were there.. there were giant bags of garbage outside our room (and others rooms). Our back door to the balcony didnt close all the way, so we got eaten alive by mosquitoes. When complaining of these things at checkout.. I was told they would knock some money off but since I booked through Expedia so they couldnt help me. Trust me you dont want to stay here!!
