Excellent family resort! Small enough that you dont worry about your kids biking around and so many toys to keep the kids busy!

Love Balsam Beach resort!! The landscape is beautiful....very clean. The cabin we are staying in is wonderful....beds are comfy. Home away from home! Sunsets and sunrises breathtaking! Owners are wonderful....always accessible! Coming back!

What a beautiful place. Patty and Clint are amazing. The lake is clean. Plenty to do or not to do, no need to leave. The wild life is breathtaking. Every night I watch the lions, eagles, ducks, and various other creatures.

Stayed here before and now we know not to stay again. First time we were here owners were rude to our guests, we chalked it up to maybe them having a bad day, the next year we came, again our guests and us were treated poorly. We are not a loud and obnoxious bunch, we are just looking for a relaxing spot to enjoy. It doesn’t take much effort to start a conversation with a hello or good morning. We have many other options to choose from in lakes country and now we know better. Thanks for ruining 2 vacations.

Absolutely the BEST resort for families. Always fun activities and the pool is always great! Clint and Patty are always working hard to ensure the entire place is beautiful! And always adding new fun things for the kiddos! Love this place!

Been here 2 days, and are very impressed. The owners are very nice and more than willing to help. Showed us where the fish should be, and they were spot on. Looking forward to the rest of the week.

This is our 7th year here! This place is great! Its a fun vacation spot run by amazing people. Clint and Patty treat you like family and always make you as comfortable as possible!

My husband and I grew up loving the outdoors. We both had demanding careers that didnt allow for much down time. After we decided that I needed to slow down and start enjoying life, and to share our love of camping with our family, we got a starter camper. We have stayed at other resorts (renting cabins here), but none have come close to Balsam Beach. Clint and Patty along with their fur babies Lucy and Emma, go above and beyond to ensure their guests are comfortable. My health issues and current ongoing treatments at Mayo Clinic have been a huge obstacle to family getaways. Not only was this a great resort, the harmony and peaceful feeling We got watching the lake at night and talking around the fire generated more healing than any medication could ever provide. If you want a quiet yet active resort to stay at, I assure you that you wont regret choosing Balsam Beach Resort. There is a lot to do and a great place to bring your kids.

I rented a cabin over the winter, so your experience may vary. The cabin was very nice, with a homey, woodsy feel to it. Rent was reasonable, and ask utilities were included, aside from electric. Views of the lake are great.

Located south of Bemidji Mn on Lake Plantagenet offers cabin rental & camper spots. Very clean, very well maintained, great people.

Beautiful, relaxing, and out-of-the-way of it all. However, the owners seem to do too much nickel and dime-ing. Example: charging $$ to take your boat OUT of the water.
