Really cozy, private, and family and fishing oriented. Its been owned by the same family for 45 years (the place itself is almost 100 years old and a former Viking training camp) and they love their guests and the resort. Boats are provided and theres bait available. Cabins vary in look and size.

This is such a magical place. You get a real cabin feel with space that is uncommon today and within good proximity to Bemidji. The cabins are very clean and the owners are the sweetest. It’s a perfect place for fishing (use their boats or bring your own) and spending peaceful time on the lake. The screened in porches are perfect for game nights! Bonus, super affordable.

Clean cabins with heat so you can still do some fall fishing in late September. I have stayed here in 2008-09 in August with extended family and had a wonderful time. We came back almost ten years later and we were not disappointed. You can use the resorts boats or bring your own. Close enough to town and still have the northern Minnesota experience. Owners were very accommodating with our visit. I would recommend this resort for a great getaway.

Great walleye Northern &largemouth bass fishing.. this Resort has a bait shop. Nothing too fancy. The cabins have bathrooms and kitchens.. nice quiet getaway great fishing

Stayed here with some buddies during the 2013 and 2014 fishing trips first year was ok the second year Earl i believe is the owner was pretty rude, we had motor problems of a rental boat and it leaked pretty bad also. told him we needed gas one morning and he told no we did not, to lazy to check on it himself. needless to say have never went back and never will.As far as the fishing it was ok, nothing to write home about, hopefully it has gotten better over the years. beautiful lake thought
