Nice and pretty park, and has a basketball court right next to it, that looks onto the dog park. But the fence had openings that didnt keep my dog in. She was caught with her body half outside the fence.

Great little park! There are public bathrooms not to far from the dog area which is a big plus. They have a water station inside the dog area and a fountain with dog accessible outside Im the regular park area. Usually no issues with parking either. It does get a tad muddy after a lot of rain but so do most parks.

Great park! dogs have fun playing and enough space where if they dont mix well with another dog theres space to go elsewhere. A bit muddy most of the time except for summer so make sure to bring a towel.

Nice big off lease dog park for the pup usually with lots of dogs to play with. You can also access the Bay to Baker trail nearby if you would like to walk down to the bay (a little over a mile). The only downside is that it gets very muddy after it rains.

Great pup park! Everyone is good about picking up after dogs. The run area lacks alot of grass so it becomes incredibly muddy after the rain.

I enjoy this park when there are owners there that pay attention to their dogs. Put down your freaking phones and pay attention. Your dog is trying to tell you that they dont like this dog or that or this behavior or that behavior but you dont see it. Ive never had any issues but Im always aware of my dog and others around him.

I like that it is fenced in with a bunch of room for running around. Including some averages trees and bushes safe for your canine to explore around. Also like that the ground is birch malt and not dirt so they cant dig holes. That is in a separate area away from the playground area. There are restrooms close by so you dont have to walk away to use the bathroom.

People are friendly. The play areas are big with lots of room to run, and kept clean. Theres also a constant supply of water, including a doggie bowl feature on the drinking fountain. Great place! Our dogs love going there. They get excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot.

Another great Bellingham park. Many different possibilities here. Walk the paved half mile circular sidewalk or climb the stairs to the Bay to Baker trail. There is an off leash dog park that has seperate areas for big and small dogs with a nice group of regulars. Two good size baseball fields provide occasional entertainment. There is a picnic shelter and nice play area for kids that includes a zip line for ages 5 - 12.

This is my pooped out pooch!! Oh my goodness Petey had SO much fun here. I dont know if it was just this day or park, as we’ve moved around the country lots and been to lots of dog parks, but my little guy had the best time. I can NOT WAIT to take him back!!So glad places like this exist!

Sa

The landscaping is lovely, but needs to be some signage guidelines as my dog got rammed over and pinned down several times by an unneutered pit bull. 3 times. I stepped in between and looked around to see no owner step up. There was a guy laughing weirdly. My medium sized spayed female submitted but it wouldn’t leave her. Her ears are all cut up. Other dogs got it as well. It wasn’t til we left that I saw the pit bull belonged to the guy laughing at his dog hurting other dog. Creepy. His dogs head was all cut up. That can be a sign of a dog being trained to fight.Let’s not be naive not everyone is there with pure intent. There needs to be a sign with conduct rules and animal control number posted to deter those that would bring in an aggressive dog that can hurt or kill other dogs. We also know that there was a dog that got killed in one of our dog parks. The City needs to address this illegal behavior. You need to put up a sign to empower citizens to ask owners of attack dogs to leave. Or at least have a number posted we can call to report. Some aggressive dogs need to be protected from harming a dog and then having to be put down. If we could have a sign with our local animal control number on it to report owner absents or attacks, people who aren’t responsible will be deterred. It’s a park. It’s for everyone to have fun, play with their pup and do so with kindness, respect, and safety. Don’t let a bully human who’s trained a bully dog run the show. If you can have a bunch of signs about poop, you sure ought to be able to have a few about dogs and owner conduct.

Absolutely love this dog park the location is terrific it has two separate areas divided by a fence for small dogs and large dogs. The people are friendly the dogs are happy and it has nice walkways around the park to take your dog for a walk and get some exercise. It also has a nice area for kids to play on playground equipment near the baseball field. I highly recommend this park

Parks department needs to mow! The grass and weeks are waist high in many places. As a result theres a lot of dog poop because owners dont see their dogs doing it. Balls are lost in the weeds almost immediately. I dont remember it being this bad in past years.

This is our regular hang. Generally a good mix of dogs. It has a small dog side, and an all dog side. Completely fenced. There is a gazebo with a bench on both sides, as well as running water on the all dog side. The only negative, in my opinion, is the material that theyve chosen as ground cover. It is a VERY coarse wood chip cover. Good for water absorption, I guess, but not much fun to run on, I would imagine.

Enjoyable dog park with: large and small dog sections; covered area on each side to stand under on rainy days; public restrooms; bags available; clean; double gate for safe entrance and exit; and a basketball court a few feet away. This is a great safe place for my lab. There are three water sources counting the bathroom. Ill be coming back here again! Im giving it a 4/5. It would be 5/5 if there were more bark chips on the ground.

Mi
Review №66

If there was a 1/2 star rating that is what I would give. There is always one bad apple at this park. Just because it says “off leash” dog park, doesn’t mean that every dog should be of leash. 0 for 2 on this park now. People with aggressive breeds come here. I understand the animal pecking order; but if your dog pins another down, restrain your dog! We will be find another park to take our dog from now on. Training your animal doesn’t seem to be a priority here.
