Squalicum Creek Park is a great family Park with restrooms, baseball diamonds, awesome playground, dog park, walking path connected to other urban trails, and a very nice covered eating area for up to 60 people. There have been a couple unusual animal sitings here (I’ve been told) such as a cougar and a coyote. There’s also a well used basketball court here as well.

I dont have a lot of dog park experience but this one seems pretty good. My dog loves it, anyway. Theres a small dog area thats usually empty but Ive seen some people bring their tiny puppies there. Most everyone is pretty good about picking up after their dogs but sometimes one slips through the cracks, as youd expect. Anyway, we like it here and will be back often.

Beautiful park. I love the different areas that can be enjoyed with the whole family, in couple, with friends, or on your own. This park has a very well designed dog park, fields for sports and tables and green areas for picnics/reading.

Neighborhood park with expansive optionsThis park has big, medium and small ranges, from baseball diamond, dog run, kids playground incl. zipline! Bicycling and walking trails spill down into this park from surrounding highlands, and truck route driving/walking entry also leads to Bellingham harbor and port park.

This is a great multi-use complex. It has two baseball fields that can be scheduled for use with Bellingham Parks & Rec. There is an open cement basketball court with limited bench area for resting/viewing. It has a dedicated dog park as well as walking trails & a couple of large maintained topographical fields perfect for walking/jogging/running etc. There are grassy areas too that would make a great place for a picnic or other family outing or would easily lend itself to a pickup game of the likes of football, soccer or Frisbee not to mention being ideal for kite flying in breezy weather. If this werent enough to make it an all around family friendly zone there is a million smiles style playground that even includes a zip line that seems to easily handle weights up to 200lbs (from what Ive witnessed) as well as a mini skate board area perfect for that young beginning boarder. And still, Adjacent to the playground is a Pavillion large enough to handle almost any family that would like to have a meal while enjoying watching there young ones play, or for hosting a decent sized get together or family reunion. (Although for larger audiences it might be best to reserve the pavilion ahead of time, again, through Bellingham Parks & Rec.)There are public drinking fountains attached to the stand alone brick structure which is centrally located & houses the restrooms. In fact The only thing that may feel slightly lacking is the bathrooms of which there are only 3 which may not be adequate to fully accommodate a larger crowd on a full mixed use day. Two are located in the dedicated central location brick building & the third is located next to the basketball court / dedicated dog park. There is no hot water, but there is soap for washing up and baby changing stations in both of the unisex bathrooms. The bathrooms have always been clean when I have been there and show regular attending to.The situation is no where near dire enough to reduce the review by even half a star & so a full star review is still ok here.Parking is usually ample for the size & features 8 easy access dedicated handicapped parking stalls and the park is definitely ADA compliant. There is also overflow parking that is made available if the park is scheduled for heavy use.I hope this review has been helpful to you.~ #Mosiah

Love the zip line. Theres a lot of area to explore, a area that can be reserved and its away from a lot of traffic. Kids will love the play structure and the various climbing areas. The swings are a good height as well and the kids can get pretty moving. Its also somewhat near the airport for those who like to watch planes.

This park is awesome. My kids and my dog love it here. Every time we go here we spend hours. The playground is awesome and themed after a forest. They have big kid swings, baby swings, and a handicap swing. A zip line, a merry go round, a couple slides, and a miniature skate park. The bathrooms are nearby and always clean. I would totally recommend this park to anyone with kids, young or old. They also have baseball fields, a soccer field, a basketball court and walking trails.

I love coming to Squalicum Creek Park playgroup is awesome. My 3 year old son has a blast climbing around and like to spin around as well. Also like that their is a smaller park for babies and a bigger park for older children. There is lot more swings and a swing for special needs children. They have a cool fenced in dog park in a separate area then the playground. Have a nice cement walkway paths for a nice jog or walk. You can rent there cover area with a bunch of picnic tables with a nice sink. Wishes they fixed there zipline but they have a cool concrete pool for riding bikes, scooters or skateboards for the kids. They have 2 nice baseball field and basketball court.

One of the best parks Bellingham has to offer. The playground itself is unique with tree structures to climb and hidden bears in a cave. There is a zipline feature to this park as well, fun for kids above about age three Id say. Two different areas to the playground accommodate younger and older children. There is a covered area, swings, baseball field, large and well taken care of grass field with small trails leading off in multiple directions, bathrooms, basketball courts, and a dog park!

Ive long leaned towards the eventual day that I knew I would be able to roll in the rancid mushroom patch at Squalicum Creek Park. Imagine my dismay when, upon my arrival at and subsequent investigation of the entirety of the grounds, every detectable mushroom was firm, young and fresh. I understand why a modern parks service should want to maintain an image of firm, young freshness- I really mean that- but I think that such a notorious landmark really ought to earn special consideration.

The zip line is back! This is a wonderful park for the cooler months of the year. They have a zip line. There is a good sized dog park. There is a small area for kids to ride scooters up and down a little incline. There are trails all around the park and it makes for a nice little walk. There are no shade trees! In the summer, during the warmer months, it can be rather uncomfortable.

This park has it all - a nice concrete sidewalk for those wanting to walk, a nice playground for kids, and a good size dog park for dogs. The playground has a zip line that is fun for all ages. The play equipment is new and safe. The concrete walkways circle the park. If you do the large loop it is approximately 1 mile. The dog park has a side for large dogs and a separate side for small dogs. There are usually a good amount of dogs in the big side. All the owners and dogs are well behaved. We really enjoy coming to this park - something for everyone.
