If youre looking for a small, quiet, beautiful place, Marine Park is a great option. It was very peaceful. There were benches or large rocks to sit on or, sit under a large shade tree and enjoy the gentle breeze and beautiful views.

Lovely park, just keep an eye out for the odd bit of goose poop. Seems like a nice place to launch and retrieve kayaks. Fairly exposed and usually windy, recommend bringing a jacket or windbreaker most days.

I saw kayaking, beach combing, and pincers at the park and it was nice! Also there is the AmTrack and Greyhound station across the street.The park is always clean and well kept during the day. It is locked at sunset every night.

One of the more under rated parks in Bellingham. I came here and observed the tidal pool and marine environments. I found some of the coolest sea anemones, barnacles, star fish, and so many little critters. This park is also super close to Fairhaven and the perfect place to launch kayaks

Went to sit on my Mothers memorial bench. She loved the water and it is in a beautiful place where I can sit and remember her. The park is very tranquil. Come by and enjoy her spot.

This is a very nice park. Slightly hidden back in Fairhaven. Very nice picnic tables and protected gazebo area. Not real big, but a beautiful view. Only a couple of benches so bringing a chair is preferred.. Next to the railroad tracks but just a pleasant place to hang out. Average amount of parking and nothing really right next door. So, bring some food and drink. Downtiwn isnt that far away but a half mile or so.

Parking is difficult to come by on a nice day. Lots of trains going by. Great views for sunset watchers and to get your feet wet. Dog friendly as long as you are being a respectful and responsible dog owner. Clean facilities when nature calls.

Tiny little park with great views.

Expansive views, a beach with sun(sets) or soft green grass under the shady trees - take your pick. I rode my bike from my office near the airport and was mostly trails and bike lanes the whole way. Bellingham is a very bikeable city. Love it!

Great beer. Very friendly. Adapts to your needs, too. The food truck canceled because it was Fathers Day, so they let us bring food in! Outstanding.

I a beautiful rocky beach with a great view, you can walk right up to the water or there is a shelter to sit in and have lunch. Its one of my favorite beaches.

Nice little park. Good relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sounds of the waves lightly hitting the shore and the light wind on your face. Its one of those places you can sit and close your eyes and feel the warm sun on your face. You can walk the little beach and take a deep breath. Limited parking close to shops and ferry terminal.

Took a walk at low tide and discovered some amazingly weathered rocks structures.

Nice quiet yet busy park. Several dogs were off leash while I was soaking up the sun so I chose to sit in my car instead of on the grass or beach. BPD or Animal Control officers need to be on site policing the large dogs at large imo.

Great recreation park. Includes easy put in and pull out for water sports. A nice field and trees for slack lining and lawn games. This park connects to the inter urban trail that takes you past our famous water treatment park, the blue heroin reserve and a dog park.

I miss this place. Of all the places I traveled throughout the country this past year, I definitely think of this one more than most.

Awesome views, private and secluded!

This is one of my favorite parks in Bellingham. Its easy to access and less crowded than Boulevard. If you can get the right parking spots, you can sit in your car and look out at the bay. The bathrooms are well maintained which I really appreciate. Theres a nice covered picnic area.

This is a special place. I come here often, I live nearby. Natures beauty is abundant here. Its best at low tide, but is amazing all year round and at any tide. I love marine park!!! Great place to bring some lunch and just rest your mind. Also fantastic for beach combing and nature viewing ;)

Definitely a sweet place to pass time...but wear a mask! There are plenty of people here during Covid-19.

If you love gazing out on the water this is the place for you.. Its a small area with a small parking lot. Be prepared to dress warm as the damp climate can get pretty cold. There are beautiful sunsets, but not guaranteed as there can be many cloudy days to prevent such a view. Still, whatever time of year, its a peaceful area.

This is a really scenic and historic spot. I am glad i took the time to walk over a block from the Greyhound bus station was a great way to spend an hour layover. Beautiful sunset and hard to capture on a smartphone.

Great place to walk and bring the kids

A favorite place to look over Bellingham Bay from a vantage point high above the tide flats. Usually opportunities to see Bald Eagles, hawks and summer time visiting Turkey Vultures riding the wind currents especially when the South wind is blowing.Kite surfers use the wind and breaking waves to put on a show.The location at the end of the Bellingham airport can provide a mini airshow with small private planes to large commercial aircraft flying in and out close overhead with an occasional treat of military jets and other interesting planes.

Quiet little place that not many people visit. It is a beautiful place to eat your lunch or dinner while watching the aquatic wildlife. Has limited parking, but does have clean bathrooms!

It was a quiet little place to sit and enjoy the water. There is a picnic shelter with restrooms. It was a quick walk from Fairhaven and the first stop off of Amtrak

Good scenery, nice view awesome sun sets. If you ever get a chance to see the sunset here, this is an awsome place to do so. Grab some warm clothes and maybe a blanket if your in Oct-Feb.

Lovely beach

I drove up to this particular place to watch dawn occur. Not a sunrise so much as just a sweet experience. Wrapped in a blanket and enjoying my coffee while the sky lightened and the current sound grew stronger. There were a few other dawn watchers but very peaceful over all.

It is such a beautiful park, and woods coffee, is there too. Its a lovely walking park there at two bridges to walk over.

Its okay because its clean, and has a bathroom n covered area with tables and a great view of the water n its surroundings but the park is kinda small overall.

Lovely place for picnic, launching small craft- kayaks, surf boats, canoes. Have a picnic, short walks. Estuary near by that has several nests of Blue Heron in summer. Beach area had pockets of sand and grass.

Beautiful beach access. What more could you ask for? Only negative is everyone wants to go there, so parking is sometimes difficult.

Small park, right on water does have restroom facilities.

Very nice park to spend some time. Only downside is that it is very small, and occasionally has a few odd people there.

Beautiful, this is the spot for sunsets in Bellingham. Get here early for the good spots, bring a towel to lay in the grass :)
