Gorgeous park nestled just south of Fairhaven. Ample pathways ensure that the park is never too crowded. Once youve hiked in 5 minutes or so youll probably only see a few other folk. Gorgeous trails, bridges, streams, and even a waterfall. Wonderful all year round, absolutely breathtaking in the autumn.

The Arroyo Park trailhead is closed with cones in front of it. However, there is two other parking lots nearby. Beautiful creek, boardwalks, and forest. Well maintained trail to Chuckanut Falls. There are plenty of landmarks there, including creeks and huge rocks. There a small waterfall that is part of California Creek. Its ride next to the trail. On the route I took, the trail went along a cliff.

Such a great walk just outside of Fairhaven. It is really cool to come out here in the fall when the salmon are running up the creek. Not too many people know about this and it is a really awesome spot to view some PNW nature.

I come here once or twice a week to hike. The trail has mosquitos in some areas, but where in washington doesnt? Lots of places to make a different turn and see something new. Gorgeous river at the beginning.

Dozens of Large Chum Salmon are running in Arroyo park! The park is gorgeous, full of native flora and fauna. The only problem is accesibilty, but seeing as Arroyo basically means Canyon, you have to expect the trails to be steep. A great place for a run and to spend some time appreciating nature.

Easy trail for someone who is not quite up for a big hike. Feels like you are remote but still right near the road. One of the best thing about this park is there never seems to be any trash here. Its either well maintained or people are very respectful.

Scenic little park - I usually go in the mornings and Im usually the only one there! The creek and wood bridge are beautiful and you can access other Chuckanut trails from here as well. Best of all: my dog can join me, untethered by a leash.

This is a nice walk, especially with kids and dogs. There are multiple trails off the main one that you could take .. so depending on what your looking for, your bound to find something. The only thing I can say thats negative is that right now ... there are lots of dead fish in the creek, so its a bit smelly.

I love Arroyo park as a launching off area to the greater Chuckanut Mountain trail system. Its not a typical park; no large grassy areas, bathrooms picnic tables etc. If youre looking for that kind of experience Id suggest heading to Fairhaven Park back in Bellingham or Larrabee State Park just down Chuckanut Drive. But if you want a lovely walk on on a wooded trail along a burbling stream Arroyo is a great option.
