Went here just because and its so beautiful and peaceful here. We walked about 3 miles total and its about 1.5 miles from the bottom parking to the main top. We enjoyed all of the water and its falls, rapids and small pools. The stone bridge is about 80 years old and quite amazing. Cant wait to visit it again soon.

What an amazing park! A must stop if in town or pulling through! The pictures do not do it justice. Everyone from 6-45 years old enjoyed this trail. It is about 3 miles and took us 2 1/2 hours. I am disabled so I take longer to move than most. with that said, i was amazed at how well maintained the trails were and I was able to walk the park with my family. So much to teach the kids throughput the park. I just wish there was some info out on the trails (the kids like to read them).

One large serene beautiful park which is stroller friendly and the falls looks amazing with the stone bridge. The walking path is large enough for people to bike or use segway. There are many places in the park which has access to streams and safe. Great park for everyone.

Beautiful trails. Small but adequate swimming areas. My 2 YO was able to jump of the falls well. Know where to jump, though, or you’ll end up in the rocks. Do not like the cigarettes and pot being smoked right where you jump off the falls, nor the cigarette smoking next to the bathrooms (reason why it lost a star).

The playground at Whatcom Falls is a great meeting place for local parents and children. We meet new friends all the time. They also have a really great dirt pump track and the riders tend to be courteous and polite, sharing the track with our 5 year old and encouraging him to ride. Three generations of my family have enjoyed the park here! Thanks Bham parks and rec for providing the best park :)

This is an amazing walking spot if you wanna take some time in nature. There are also areas with water where you can swim, which is great for kids and adults alike! Only issue is that there is the rare issue that someone is smoking weed, which leaves an awful smell. But that happened only once or twice in all the times ive been here. Its a great place to swim or relax overall though!

Soooo gorgeous!!! Definitely recommend this stop. Peaceful, quiet, and calming. There are a few people on the trails but not over ran with pedestrians. Youll likely encounter a few doggies along the way too.Back within houses and seems out of place but a hidden gem for sure. There are a couple slippery slopes. Wouldnt recommend some trails to handicap or anyone with a minor disability. The beginning is easy for someone handicap or wheelchair bound.

So many water falls and ponds. Great access points to water. Easy walking. For a cardio workout running or walking as. There arent many inclines. Great for a person who is wanting to start an easy walking routine. The environment of water trees, and plants is the perfect brain break. Not many people wearing masks or staying 6 from our group. Thus the one star review. Not ok to walk/ride close to me when Im trying to protect you. This is about humanitarianism not political views/rights. Please mask up Wa. Read information thats true. From Palm Coast FL, were visiting family in Ferndale. Our daughter-in-law took us to Whatcom Falls Park for a visit and a hike. The trails are beautiful and manageable by anyone of moderate ability to walk around. There are easy trails everywhere you go and the scenery is terrific no matter which you choose. Derby Pond has a bunch of ducks who swim to shore looking for bread or popcorn handouts (unsalted please). The whole park is a photographers delight especially the falls and bridge but lots of flowers, birds and even the old railroad trestle are good subjects. You should go.

This park was amazing! We are out of town visiting from Lake Stevens, WA, and looked for a place we could take our dogs for some exercise that wasnt a rigorous hike. So many trails and side trails to explore, the pups had a blast sniffing everything and splashing in the water. The trails are well marked and you could essentially spend as long as you like exploring once you get there. The falls themselves are a short walk from the parking lot, so you could just see them and leave if you wanted to. While there, we saw many different groups of varying ability. Older people, young families with toddlers or strollers, and lots of dogs!I definitely recommend this park!

My favorite park. Beautiful year round, very crowded in summertime with people swimming and hiking, but its still my favorite time to go. If you dont like this park, then you have no soul. Go back inside where the sun will not hurt you. With gorgeous trees and a meandering trail that connects to different points across the city, I have wasted hours here. There are main trails, and smaller side trails for the more adventurous. The falls are amazing, and change with the season. You also wont run into too many cyclists with super duper LED strobe lights blinding everyone when the sun sets at 4:30 in wintertime. Seriously, those guys can stay inside with the soulless i mentioned earlier.
