The park is out of date and needing repairs to actually be safe for the children in the community to play and enjoy the park. Also it offers a splash pad that doesnt work. I highly recommend that you walk around and keep a very close eye on your children while at this park there are multiple homeless people that were laying on blankets and looked like they were living at the park. I was very precausous while we were there I found multiple places on the playground equipment that had missing boards on the higher levels which a child could actually fall and be seriously hurt. There was trash throughout the playground, cloth masks people just took off and threw on the ground, while playing my 3 year old came across a used syringe which thankfully I had gloves on hand and desposed of it immediately and he didnt touch it. I will definitely be doing a walk through before I even get my child out to play at this park again. I really wish people would respect and take care of our parks in the community instead of vandalizing and tearing up equipment build for our children to have a place to play.

Great Park

It has a lot of things to keep my 9 year old busy and he really enjoys himself. Its also roomy enough for the parents to get in on some activities and engage as well. The basketball court and shaded areas to eat and rest are well welcomed, as well as the trail that encircles the park that allows you to exercise while keeping a close eye on your child. The only thing that may bother people are a few homeless people that linger around, however, they are very peaceful and arent a bother at all.

This park could be nice if given attention. Much of the wood is getting weak and rotten, there were some missing support beams as well. To top it off there was some folks having a very loud and personal argument. Id keep looking unless they invest money and time into it.

Central park is a great place for activities. I was invited to a baby shower for Ms Taylors daughter. The party was very entertaining, over 50 people was there, the food was wholesome and delicious. The children danced and played games. The adults played various games and bingo. Great Park!

My grandkids love it. As a volunteer who helped construct the park many years ago, I get an extra sense of joy or my grandkids ask me to explain and describe the experience of the Parks Construction. Clean restrooms picnic areas as well as barbecue and party areas available close to store nearby to pick up those last-minute items.

Decent restrooms. Nice large play area as well as water sprinklers for the kids to enjoy. Theres a Track to walk around park and a tennis court.

You can play soccer, and take your kids for picnic.

Good for grandchildren to play

The Splash Pad was not working, water pressure was extremely low. To many guys just hanging around.

The park itself is nice. Its run down because of its age & extreme use.You will find cigar wrappers & other various trash left around & in the playground.I followed my 3.5yr old son through the entire wooden park & found various obstacle courses that have long needed replacing.The park was likely originally designed for young children with playful attitudes. Since then its had the wrong crowd & kids with bad attitudes.We went on a Sunday afternoon & a rather large African American family was having a family day. Some of the kids & parents looked happy, others did not.Some of the family were hanging out under the pavilion just talking & smoking cigs - others were walking around watching their kids. A couple of people had rap music playing out of the back of their car while they sat in lawn chairs smoking.There is a basketball court & splash pad(only some of the jets are working).Overall - Id say dont waste your time if you are looking for quality. If you dont worry about your kids safety - let them run free.This park is in definite need of an overhaul, but the concept is great.

Nice place for picnicking, walks, jogging, having gatherings and theres a building that is rentable for parties, wedding receptions and birthdays! Its clean theres a place to cook inside the building , it has restrooms inside building as well as outside in the park area. Park area has a nice playground for kids with swings slides and alot more. There is a basketball area.

It was nice for our students but splash pad wasnt working

Love the set up. But someone needs to start repairs, and trash needs to be picked up, especially broken bottles.
