I always enjoy older architectural structures while visiting a location. Bar Harbor offers St. Saviour’s church where you will find a wooden structure built in the 1800s. In New England you find many white churches, but this one is natural wood.

Stunning and extremely historic church. Many extremely famous names called this is their church while visiting or staying at Bar Harbor. There are quite a few Tiffany’s Stainglass windows here. They leave the church open and on Sundays right after church offer free tours which I highly recommend – you learned a tremendous amount about the church and the parishioners and the island itself. It is really quite beautiful!!

History and beauty throughout. Breathtakingly gorgeous stained glass windows and amazing carved wood everywhere. AND a long history of being a truly caring venue for this ancient town.

This is a beautiful church with genuine Tiffany Stained Glass Windows. It is a peaceful place to meditate.
