Beautiful theater, comfortable, no recliners, at least not in #14, but this was our first time so may be one of the other auditoriums has these. Concessions were good, the lines moved fast and the gentleman at the Customer Service desk was especially helpful and friendly!We recommend watching movies here and if you go regularly be sure you sign up for a Regal Crown card and download the app. Its worth your time to do this to earn discounts on concessions and free movie tickets. It doesnt take long to start receiving rewards and they have Regal theaters in most cities. We ordered $20 worth of popcorn and soft drinks but with our reward points we paid about $5!

We join Regal Unlimited for $18 a month and we can go to as many movies as we want as many times as we want. If I see a movie I like Ill go back a day or two later and see it again saw Star Wars 3 times. Im saving a fortune

Its pretty apparent that Edwards has taken a hit with the rise of streaming services and studio movie grill. One nice thing is the 10 dollar, refillable popcorn but the 5 dollar candy is a bit much and tickets are still comparable to SMG only the seats are less comfortable at Edwards. All in all though the staff are nice and pleasant to interact with and you get a quality movie experience!

Clean theater. Just wish they had more cashiers at the food stand. Popcorn was delicious as always but nachos cheese was not as warm as usual. Went to see Lion King and it was great!

It was the only theater in town that wasnt sold out. They havent adopted the luxury box seats, with excessive creature comforts yet. Fairly priced, lines were minimal, allow online ticket purchases, assigned seats. Not a terrible theater, just a tad behind on the times. I do enjoy that its cradled in between restaurants, bars, shops, and the have some really cool events that take place in the parking lot..

My first time here. I only go to the movies about once every three years.I enjoyed the movie... Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. Good seat. Good parking. Great sound.I thought the movie would never start. 40 minutes of Previews and advertisements.The bad part was the $5 bottle of water. Ridiculous. See you again in 2023.

A great place to watch a movie. I really love the fact that Edwards showcases some of the best most Anime works from Japan! Will always choose Edwards for that reason! Plus low cost snacks make it the best!

I always enjoy Edwards. The theater is always clean. However, my movie was to start at 12:30. At 12:54 they were still showing previews. ???

I used to love coming to this movie theater. Now it is still very nice and clean however, their Matainee price for adults are questionable at $6.75. I drive 5 miles to see a movie when I can drive less than a mile to go to Studio movie grill where Matinee price is $5.00. Think I will stick with Studio movie grill from now on.

Good for kids outgoing.

Ive been coming to this theater since they built it. The seats are comfortable enough. The assigned seating is always a plus as my family has a lot of members. The downsides are the concessions are expensive(thats everywhere) and the last theater I was in had an outrageously sticky floor in front of my seat. It was a kids movie so I can understand how it would have gotten sticky but if they(ushers) cleaned the isles someone should have noticed.

Large theater with alot of choices for movies. Lines at the snack bar can be long so try to arrive a little early before showtime. The popcorn is really good and usually fresh. If you buy a large popcorn you can get a free refill.The bathrooms,at least the mens, had urine on the floor. Lots of kids there on Saturdays so dont be surprised.overall though a nice venue.

It was pretty clean and not too crowded. Nice and cool inside. Bathrooms could use some TLC, but lots of kids during a weekend day make keeping up on them harder.

Nice big theater with comfortable seats

Best theatre in town. Take my daughter on our daddy/daughter dates all the time and always have a great time. Using the app, save time from standing in the ticket line and get terrific discounts on our movie snacks. The Cheetos popcorn is an absolute must every movie we see. Theatres are big and roomy and seats are comfortable. We try to avoid all other theatres whenever possible. Excellent after movie options close by is another reason we call Edwards our favorite. Thank you Edwards staff for being the best. Always over the top friendly.

Man! Im not used to having someone so close to me. Fortunately the couple next to me left before the movie started. More elbow room for me!

I was warned before going not to go here. Allegedly the cinema has had bed bugs in the past. Alas, it was not as bad as I expected. The staff was slow and only one person was working the box office. After waiting behind people, I was told that they no longer accept the Regal cards and that I had to go sign up online. I stepped away from the window and had to sign up on my phone for their card to get the discount. I dont know why they cant sign you up quickly at the window. The cashier had no issue making me wait ten minutes in line for a person in front of me to spend forever to pick out a movie to see.After getting inside everything was decent besides the bathroom being messy.The ticket price was decent.Overall, not a horrible experience, but wouldnt call it great either.

Seats are worn and uncomfortable.The speakers continued to go out.The sound went out on important parts of the movie.

Good theatre in marketplace on southwest Bakersfiled. We had to wait for longer time at the tickets counter, also at the snack bar. However it’s good to know that the management always want to take feedback of the customers and want to really improve. This itself shows that they are working hard for customer satisfaction. That’s why they deserve a 5 star.

Theater was fine. Movie we saw was a Fathom event: a bit weird.

Very nice place to go with my kids but something I dont like is that people that go inside are DIRTY VERY DIRTY IF YOU GO INSIDE WITH FOOD TAKE IT OUT THEY LEAVE EVERYTHING WHERE THEY SIT LIKE SERIOUSLY STOP BEING DIRTY YOU MAKE THE EMPLOYEES JOB HARDER...VERY CLEAN IN THE MORNINGS AND RESTROOM SMELL REALLY GOOD.

Edwards is one of my favorite theaters in town. Theres tons of food and stores right next to it, and the location in great. Very picturesque! The employees were nice this most recent time I went and I LOVE that now when you buy your tickets, you can pick your seats on a tablet! Its great so now you dont have to get in the theater 30 minutes early just to get decent seats!

I have no idea how people would support movie theaters. Most poeple go for the movie, but then they leave paying triple what they wanted with everything they sell thats inflated by 10 times what its actually worth people need to understand that if they dont buy the ridiculous sum theyll have to lower the prices. Okay so I got to Edward’s with a couple of my friends. We were going to watch the movie ‘us’. Turns out your supposed to be 17 or older to buy a ticket for the movie since it’s rated R. I mean okay no problem. She asks for ID. I forgot to bring my ID. She says I can’t buy the ticket because I don’t have an ID.My friend offers to buy the ticket because she brought her ID with her. Okay that should work right. But she says no because she’s going to give the ticket to me. I’m like okay. The lady then asks me if I would like to purchase a PG 13 movie. Oh I’m sorry do you need an ID to know I’m over 13. Like Jesus I own a car for crying out loud.Do you think your average 16 year old would buy there own car, for crying out loud. I mean yeah sure it might be a policy for them to check for ID’s. But seriously use common sense lady.

I like going to edwards. They have the best popcorn. Their theaters are a good size to see movies.

I wish I could get give them 0 starts. I go with my family to see Avengers and this guy comes to us and asks us if my son who to start with wasnt making noise at all. Kept making noises we had to go to the hallway. So I we kept seeing the movie and this guy again told us to go to the hallway. I get out and this guy is gone. I asked to speak with the manager and she was nice enough to refund all of the money we spent.

Undergoing remodel. But my complaint with this theater is having to reserve a seat prior to entering. I was meeting my cousin at the theater and she was running late. She arrived within the first two minutes of the movie. Unfortunately I had to purchase her ticket when I bought my ticket to ensure we could sit together. And if you hated your seat after sitting down too bad. I could understand reservations if they offered meal service or something like that for your seating choices but just to sit????? No. I hated this. I usually attend with a group of 6-8 women if I have to go through this I’ll just go to watch movies at Studio Grill. At least there is a reason for reservations. And I can have dinner or cocktails served at my seat. No waiting in lines for refreshments.

Clean and courteous service. Staff is always helpful. They seem to have tickets available for all new releases. Not to pricey.

I reached there at 10.43 PM. WEDNESDAY MAY 8th .And the movie was already started but there was very Nice guy changing the movie timing on the boards outside. He told me that I can still buy ticket. BUT THE LADY ON COUNTER WAS SO RUDE AND DENIED TO GIVE A MOVIE TICKET. I THINK SHE NEEDS LEARN HOW TO TALK WITH THE PEOPLE

I just love this place, it feels so welcoming and social.

So dusty, my allergies started acting up. Concession stand is always open and available but it can take a long time. It would nice if the other side opened too or if they worked in teams of two to move faster with long lines. The whole theater can use an upgrade; fresh paint, new carpet, reorganization of the concession stand, theater seats could stand to be cushioned better, armrest can use some width and WD-40. Screen 8 room had vibration and sound surrounding the walls that was very uncomfortable. Also, that back row, at the top, Regal it needs to be looked at to maximize leg room please. Dont get my wrong, I like this theater, its a family favorite but its age is starting to show. In the end, plenty of seats, good screen rooms sizes, clear pictures and sound is great.

This place rocks!! The employees are super nice and very helpful when deciding what i want to snack on!! I have the regal app and it really makes everything so much more fun!! Rented the balcony for my sons bday party. The staff was incredibly pleasant, efficient, and responsive to every need. The package had pizza for each, a movie ticket, and a kids pack for each of the attendees! All were ready and organized. A great deal and a good time had by all. Money well spent...

First time at movies in over 10 years! Very nice people, clean, had a great time.. good sound and good size screen.

I used to enjoy this site, but some of the showtime rooms have not been upgraded and still have the old style of seating (non-reclining/ leather chairs). Their food menu is like all other movie theater good selections, but they do not have any combos or deals. It is more expensive to get popcorn and a drink than to buy a movie ticket.

I went to see lion King and when I came out at 1 a.m from number 2 people are nasty and trashy like seriously theres a trash can out side when you walk out people are just really rude like there not the ones that clean that mess , but anyways really nice place to go with my kids and husband would recommend any to go youll love it.

Was told I cant take my infant into a rated r movie because they wanted to create and adult atmosphere but if he was 5 years old he would be allowed....please tell me how that creates an adult atmosphere??? The place had food all over the counters and floors, the bathrooms were nasty!! The employees all had different ages and rules with in the 5 mins I talked to 3 of them. They should all get on the same page. We should have just stayed going to the maya its way nice and well worth it!

This theater is not as comfortable as many others, but they show great movies. They also have a membership now where you pay per month and see as many movies as you want.

This place has a deal you pay $18.75 ish a month and get unlimited access to ALL movies and you can come everyday multiple times.

Nice theatre. The people there are disgusting though, felt bad for the employees that had to clean up after what looked like a popcorn hurricane. Youre straight up trashy if you leave a mess for these people to clean up.

Went here on September 27th for the screening of the original Transformers animated movie. Had never been here before and was all lit up with neon and arcade games. Looks really good and large. Had a great time and would go back.

I love this theater so much! Came here with my boyfriend to watch Deadpool 2 and the service is great. Edwards Theater looks amazing at night with all the lights on. Really nice place to go to and spend an evening with friends or family. Lots of restaurants available in the area.

Saw sneak peek of How to Train Your Dragon The Hidden World. Was nice and clean. Packed but i was able to through the snack line quickly.

This was the theater of my childhood and I have been there many many times. I really dislike the clunky way they make you chose a seat now. It is so dang tiny, that any interaction at the ticket window is painful. It was recently remodeled and it feels like they took the airline mentality, smash as many seats in as small as space as possible. You cannot recline at all so you feel like you are sitting dead upright through the whole movie. The seats arent as plush (but pleather so hopefully cleaner). Also the row in front of you is waaaay closer so if you try to maneuver a comfortable position you may end up kicking someone in the head in the process. I recently saw IT in an empty theater so I was able to stretch out as much as possible and I kid you not it was more uncomfortable than a cross country flight. I will stick with Studio Movie Grill unless something changes.

Stood in line for concessions for over 20 minutes. There are about 10 people per associate: total of 6 associates. There is only one popcorn machine they were all sharing. Seats do not recline. Hard to go from Studio Movie Grill to that.

After going to Pacific theater by the valley plaza today.. Im so grateful for this theater I love Edwards cinema so clean and well kept.

It was terrible the service is bad you have employees behind a counter and run only one register not to mention taking your sweet time. The theater was crazy kids running all around yelling useing foul language all inside the movie theater during a movie thats not even a kid movie I will never return to this theater and will share with all my friends and social media dont go there. Seats seem to have been redone recently and although they do not recline, I find them comfortable. Staff is always pleasant. Popcorn is delicious. Tuesday deals are great. Their rewards program is awesome, we go often and almost always have something free!Prices are average.Their app is user friendly too!Recommend.

Lines to get snacks take forever. And when you order hot dogs/pretzels they forgot to even heat them up so your waiting longer and they are stale. Would be nice if they had reclining seats like most theatres anymore. Other than the snack lines taking forever not bad.

We went at a very slow time for movie theaters so it was easy to get to our seats and there was no crowding at all.

Its convenient and a good value.
