My dog loves it here! Nice view and clean boardwalk. Although, you can see the trashes on the river which was very disappointing. I hope everyone will do their part to help maintain cleanliness in the river. The cleaner the river is, the more it adds beauty to The Boardwalk area.

Beautiful place to go for a walk, run, or ride your bike. The trails are pretty wide and always clean, plus theres multiple kayak rentals along the path. Theres lots of places to explore, I highly recommend it.

Beautiful walk in a beautiful day!! We started close to the Oracle building and finished at sunset watching the bats coming out of the bridge!!

I did standup paddleboarding along the lake. No easy task, but had a lot of fun.

This is a nice trail you can see all of down town Austin. Along the way you find art, rest areas, wild life, paddle/ canoe rentals. When you go bring plenty of water its a hot one at least during the summer. One of the bridges you can hear bats sleeping and at night see them flying around.

Beautiful boardwalk for casual walking, views, or exercise. Lots of great places to stop and take photos. Always a nice view. You can usually spot turtles, too. I love spending time here and always bring out of town visitors.

Tight rope walking on Lady Bird Lake....I saw people on the boardwalk that tied a rope from one part of the boardwalk to another area!!!! Between the 2 points, its open water...People were walking and falling off and laughing and having a great tlme!!!I walk the trail along Lady Bird Lake.. Part of the trail goes out over the water, that is what is called, The Boardwalk... It must have been super expensive to make, but it is fun....Now this is just amazing.... The boardwalk area, east of I35 has 3 seating areas, out on the water... People fish under it and now I see them TIGHT ROPE!!!!!!

This is a great place to take a walk, bike, or run. Under the bridges at night can be a bit sketchy so arch out for those areas especially under ih-35. Never had an issues though. Also watch out for the scooter peeps they can be dangerous. Ha.

I still cant believe some people were opposed to this project a few years ago. Its a jewel of a facility with spectacular views of Austins ever changing skyline and you can hardly go 200 feet without passing someone else most hours of the day.

Nice place to have a stroll and get some great views. Plan ahead for parking and watch out for dog poop on the trail (some folks dont pick up after their pets).

Very beautiful. The trail is nice to ride on and it goes all the way to Zilker park. When the weather is great you have a beautiful view of the city. If youre trying to de-stress or are feeling down coming here should help you out. I know it did for me.

Nice walking place close to south congress and zilker metro park.You can also kayak in Rowing dock nearby or can stroll with your dog in the evening.The jogging trail leads all the way till lady bird lake.This walking lane is separate from road traffic so no fear of crossing lanes as well.

This was a well-kept public park next to a large lake. There were numerous runners and bikers along the pathway and it felt very safe. Theres also a docking Bay where you can take your boat off into the water to go fishing or just relaxing.

Great public works project. It is a very nice feature of the park trail that allows you access to all of Lady Bird Lake. Perfect for running or walking. A little hard to get to, but worth the effort. P.S. it is not made of boards so it stays in great repair, so it always looks brand new even though it has been there for five years.

Calm ambience around a river, a bridge over the river for pedestrians and cyclists. Close to nature, away from any kind of pollution. This place is amazing to spend time with family and friends. If you are brining your vehicle there is plenty of space nearby to park.Great place for fishing, boating and good times. At night it looks even more charismatic with the reflections of all the lights.

Its a lovely walk or jog path. Parts are sand, parts are concrete pavement, so strollers have a slightly more difficult time in the sany areas, but it is maintained well enough to allow it to be smooth enough.There is plenty of room to walk, even side by side with someone else, but be mindful that bikes and joggers and runners use this path too, so slow traffic to the right ;-)It is dog friendly, plenty of folks were walking their dogs. They had cool activities and/or groups like canoeing, and even tightroping, that got together here, and we could watch. The path over the waters is best, as you can see nice views of the Austin cityscape during sunset AND sunrise.It is popular, but never felt too crowded. The paths lver water had very cool and beautiful underlighting hidden under the handrails, and the majority of the land-paths were well lit. However, there were small sections that were not lit very well, so if staying until its dark, bring a flashlight. There are still a decent amount of people there, so it didnt seem sketchy after dark, but i could see some folks feeling uncomfortable or even unsafe.

The lady bird loop is a perfect spot to stretch your legs and breathe!

Great biking, walking, kayaking

This is a great place to walk, run, or bike. The trail is decently long, and you can always make your way around to the other side of the river. The trail alternates between the shore and a boardwalk going over the edge of the river. Its pretty nice, but know that there is quite a bit of trash in the lake. Also, make sure to pay attention to the ground you walk on, especially on the boardwalk, as many people walk their dogs there and do not pick up after them. Regardless, this is still a beautiful place to have a relaxing walk or go for a run. Its a good 2 miles from Lakeshore to the Stevie statue in Auditorium Shores.
