This mural is special. Its located in the heart of South Austin off of South 1st St. in the Bouldin neighborhood. I offer small-group guided Segway tours where we cruise to this and many other of Austins best & brightest murals. The best part? No parking hassles or traffic headaches. 1 - 3 pm daily transportyourselfaustin.com

This mural in Austin is so vibrant and looks exactly like the picture. It is the perfect place to tale some touristy pictures and there was great lighting in front of the mural. You also do not need to step that far back to get the whole picture in the frame which is good. I would definitely recommend visiting this mural if you ever visit Austin.

So so so easy to find. It’s actually downtown on the side of a business. I thought it would be on the highway as you enter. I was able to take lots of photos and other people were willing to help. But you do need to stand in the street or across the street to get the whole painting in the photo.

A very beautiful and well preserved mural. It is too easy to spot as it always looks bit crowded. We had to wait to get in to take photos. This is directly on the road , because of which it also affects the traffic because many tourist literally stand center on the road to click pictures in different angle. The road is a busy one.

A great landmark and picture taking opportunity!Iconically Austin, this mural/painting/graffiti isnt really hidden, but its easy to bypass without seeing it. Its on the small street side of an art gallery in South Austin. You pretty much have to stand in the street to get a picture. Dont get hit.And dont park in front of it!

One of the most iconic places to visit in Austin. If you do nothing else, please walk the street and see this mural. If you have the time, definitely make the short walk up to South Congress to see more murals including Willie Nelson and the I Love You So Much mural too. You can park over by Polvos or one of the other nearby restaurants and walk over. Great must stop place in Austin for a quick photo op. Be prepared though, there are lots of cars turning down that street and it boarders a very busy road so with large groups it can be a little tricky.

Jo
Review №60

One of the iconic murals in Austin. However its really like along the street. Its also a bit tricky to find because its not really out there. You cant park safely or you have to street park really quick just to get that shot. Also, a lot of cars are passing by so its a bit embarassing to take a picture over there. Still it wouldnt hurt to drop by.

This is a fun place a little out of the way on the south side of the lake to get that perfect campy souvenir picture. We came on a late Sunday afternoon, so parking was easy. Not sure how it is during a rush. People are always friendly around there and will help you get a great shot! Its on the side of a business, so dont get your hope up that this is some kind of big tourist attraction.

The most iconic mural photo opportunity in Austin (others are I LOVE YOU SO MUCH and YOU’RE MY BUTTER HALF). This mural itself can be found on endless postcards, shirts, hats, bags, cups/mugs, coasters, etc.. It’s on the outside of a really cool retro and neon light art shop that has art and apparel for sale. Depending on day/time/weather there can be a large gathering of people waiting to take a photo. If you’re thirsty or need a caffeine kick there is a cool little French coffee shop to the left.

It is a mixed bag that this mural has been re painted. Part of the charm of art like this is its ephemeral Quality. Making it a landmark that will be there for ever and ever takes away from the original strength of the composition I believe. But whatever, lots fun super cool
