They put mad $20 charges on your card then take weeks to reimburse. I asked them to leave it open two different times with two different cards and its instant $20 fees plus whatever you sign for. 2 charges per drink and it takes forever to get a response if your lucky. stage and sound system is great, matter fact everything is great but how they run the system at the bar.

First time at VGC to see LTJ Bukem and expectations were exceeded in every possible way. Outstanding hospitality, epic sound and good vibes all around. Best nightclub experience in memory. Blessings on blessings on blessings

Great small venue for a show! Small bar but prompt friendly service, dance floor is rather small but offers an intimate venue to catch world class djs. Bouncers are nice and overall so are the people.

Brandon the bartender at Vulcan is by far one of the best bartenders in Austin. I will return to Vulcan based off his customer service and Speediness of service.

Good sound system. Lots of space. Bathrooms arent terrible. Temp is manageable! Drink prices are average.

It was a great venue. I went there to see the artist duo Win+Woo. The sound system at this place can be improved. The facility itself it top class and definitely worth going. Its mostly attended by college students.

Was here for Said the Sky: this place isnt a great venue for electronic music there wasnt much room and the stage wasnt large enough for a lot of lights, lasers, etc.4/17/19 Update: came back for Dabin last weekend. This venue is still lackluster. Dropping from 3 stars to 2 starts after giving it a second thought. Only good things are the fact that its on 6th and the nice bartenders.

This is just my personal impression of the place:The staff seemed really cool here, and they had one of those sports coolers of water, which is pretty brilliant, but the place is pretty ​grimy. The bathrooms were a nightmare, and the condition of the joint just really affected how I felt spending my time there. I was there for a private event/party.However, they did have a cool stage area for live music. This place may not be my scene, but probably has a different feel on a normal night and caters to a certain crowd I could see being popular in Austin. More hipster/grunge​ maybe?? Probably a five star place in the eyes of someone else, and staff deserves the five stars.

Nice place to watch a show.

This is a perfect venue! The stage is not overwhelming and the audiance feels intimate and well spaces. There is a nice upper level that overlooks the stage too. The acoustics are good and the bars are well positioned so you dont have to wait in line with a crowd. I will definitely be coming back.My 4 stars is because the womens bathroom is atrocious. The water tank lids are off and there are missing doors. The one downfall of this place.

The sound system here is amazing. This is a great venue to see most EDM artists. Bottle service is reasonable. The entire place is almost entirely a standing area (no seating).

One of the best venues in Austin for EDM. The sound system is great and the visuals add a lot to performances. Two large bars mean theres seldom a long wait for a drink. A third floor balcony offers space to cool off or smoke.

This club has great music and a crowd of attractive people that make my pants tighter.

It has a great layout and over looks the 6th street. It has two floors, a dance floor area, and a place for a live band it DJ. Always a good time, never seen them with a cover and prices are pretty normal for the area.

Basically , I would sum up my first Vulcan experience as a muthaf****ing fun bomb went off inside me!First time ever at Vulcan (went to NERO show on 7.13.17) I have to say I had a blast at this venue. The setting/layout is VERY cool and intimate. Everyone I know has hyped up the sound system at Vulcan, and now I know why..... The sound was perfect. Also the bar/door staff was so quick and friendly,(I didnt get their names) as other comments have pointed out VERY easy and fast service to get drinks at this venue. 10 outta 10, would recommend to all my friends. Thanks Vulcan !

Smaller venue with balcony and bar. I did not try the bar, I only went for the show that night. The audio quality is great due to the smaller size and therefore more intimate. The bathroom lacked toilet paper, you have been warned.

Cool venue. Its kind of an awkward shape for a live music venue. Even events that are not sold out feel packed.

Sounded great and wasnt painfully loud like most small venues. They even had Hendricks Gin to drink.

Very rude personnel at the door, one of the worst Ive seen. Cocktails are weak and untasty. Rude personnel also inside. Sound system is ok but the overall experience is ruined by bad personnel. Wont go anymore.

Older building, bar needed a lot more glassware to keep up with the amount of people there. The open air rooftop was small, but great to quickly cool off from the hot 1st and 2nd floors.

This is a great venue to visit. They always have world-class artists and the décor is exciting. The bartenders and staff are always on point. The visuals are amazing! My only complaint is the sound system lacks truly low bass and it struggles to keep up with the demands from EDM music. It is loud but it just cant handle the lower frequencies at all. The subwoofers drop off by about 40hz and they dont have any warmth. Their small speakers at the front of the venue and on the outside patio sound absolutely awful. The only decent sounding part of the system are the mains themselves.

I attended the Keys n Krates show and there was water all over the floor. Puddles!!! Towels were just thrown to the side like if that was enough. The roof was leaking water too.
