This theater is the smallest Ive ever been to for an Alamo Drafthouse cinema. I did not like this place as well as the others. They didnt fill the popcorn bowl all the way, the server was very inattentive, and the overall experience not what Im used to when movie watching at the Alamo.

I really love going to this specific Alamo Drafthouse. It is usually less packed and thus have better seating options. The staff is also very accommodating and understanding. Their shakes, pizza, and popcorn are AMAZING. Parking nearby can be a challenge sometimes, but the theater is located in a Plaza that has plenty of parking around it.

Alamo has the MOST fun movie parties, events and staff. They are super creative with what they find and show before the previews; there is a deep appreciation of films across all genres, and darn good food. I love my local Drafthouse. #alamomovieparty

Decent parking and friendly staff. Fun selection of beer on tap. Enjoy endless popcorn with butter and well seasoned. No phone policy is fantastic. Really loathe seeing phone screens at other theatres. Comfy seats but table top makes getting in and out akward for full figured folks. Very nice location for a date night.

An important Alamo historically, but a below-average theater. After the renovation of Village Cinema in 2001, this was the first Alamo to show first-run movies. Now, its the longest continually operated location. Compared to their other locations, its not very themed and it lacks the magic of the cinema atmosphere. But it does have slightly better cushioned seats than South Lamar and the best parking lot of any Austin Alamo. Check out the Thai restaurant next door if youre not eating during the movie.

Always has been a cute place to go to, my partner enjoys coming here because of the comfortable seating and food options here. Staff is always friendly and the seats and tables are always clean aswell! The area is a tad small so its a bit loud at times but we often come for horror movies so that might be the reason why its loud haha

Alamo Drafthouse is a whole new way to experience movie night. You walk in and go to your designated seats, order before or during the movie, and enjoy the movie. Its a dinner and a movie date all in one! The food is a tad expensive for the quality but its about as expensive as a regular movie theater.I recommend ordering before the movie starts so you dont have to wait as long to receive your order. I was informed that they stagger the movies so that the cooks can make the meals for each movie easier, so when you order later youre actually ordering during another movie so will take a bit longer. One issue I had was that my child who is 6 had a hard time watching the movie due to being short, and it seems that they dont have any booster seats available. In order to enjoy the movie he had to boost himself up a little bit and got uncomfortable after a while.

They make amazing good! My party and I ordered fried pickles, triple chocolate chip cookies, wine, burgers, and loaded fries. The food came out super hot and fresh, very flavored, and I got a champagne has for my mini bottle. The waiter also was mindful enough to ask if we wanted the cookies later in the movie so that they were fresh baked. I love theaters like the Alamo because they make the movie experience worth leaving your house.

Do not waste your time or money going to this particular Alamo location. The armrest in the seat I had chosen before I arrived was broken so it was not comfortable during the movie. The food was stale and very rubber like. It took over 30mins and 3 requests to be given a glass of water.I ordered a milk shake halfway through the movie and it took about 20 minutes to get to me and when it finally arrived, it was very obvious it had been left sitting out for some time as the whipped cream on top had all melted (and the candy m&m colors had start running their dye in the cream) and the milkshake was spilling over the sides. Not to mention it wasnt even cold! A room temperature milkshake it not just plain disgusting.I felt quite sick by it all and it was not cheap! I will definitely never be going back to this particular location and I only hope the others are not like this too! (Ive only been to one other Alamo location and was nothing like this)

This is a clean and great theater. Cozy vibe. Good and nice staff. Amazing queso!!! Best we gave had in awhile. We also got the best cookies we have ever had at an event. My first experience at Alamo draft house was fantastic!I’ve never been to a theater as such that has a full bar, serves dinner, snacks, deserts, and will wait on you through the entire feature! They do this all while being very courteous about interrupting the show. Might I also add that they do not play about keeping the peace so that everyone has a pleasant experience. If you dare to become disruptive, you’ll get 1 warning before being asked to leave without a refund.Kudos, Alamo Drafthouse! I’ll definitely be returning again and again!

I love Alamo, but this location absolutely needs a camera facing the front lot. Based on my car getting hit, no note left, while watching a movie, and the resulting responses from other businesses I asked about camera footage, this is not an uncommon enough occurrence to simply be movie goer beware. If you park in the front two rows, beware hit and runs with no possibility of getting camera footage because I guess its not important enough to Alamo.

One of the chain of Austin theaters in my neighborhood. The seating is good and it is always clean. Im not particularly comfortable with the idea of paying $8 for a $5 milkshake and the watered down streamlined menu leaves much to be desired. A love hate relationship with Alamo and this location in particuoar. One of the last locations that still has that classic cinema feel. It has the updated shared table layout but the old style theater (no stadium seating).I enjoy the Alamo preshow stuff but the server staff needs to work on delivering food to the correct tables and not interrupting during critical moments in the movie. Thats a general Alamo complaint that is honestly worse at The Village because of the old theater layout.

I love Alamo Drafthouse. The food and drinks are great and super yummy (although, on the pricier side); the seats are comfortable and it is always a nice place to get away and relax with a nice film. The have a strict late policy and require silence during viewings, so respect it or be prepared to be asked to leave - even Madonna found this out the hard way. Plan to arrive at least ten minutes early for popular screenings because parking can be difficult at the Village Location. Do not be more than 10 minutes late to the film or you will not get it (unless you already reserved your tickets online and enter quietly). Happily viewing!

Food is pricey ($15 for burgers) and seats are old-school (unlike chains that now have fancy reclining seats). This location is due for a renovation. Also, Ive heard from workers at other locations that turning on the house lights before the credits are over is a fire-able offense.I was there when they showed Grave of the Fireflies, a tearjerker in the extreme. Instead of allowing the audience to cry silently as the credits rolled, the workers flipped the lights on about 5 seconds into the credits and started cleaning up as we sat there mid-sob trying to compose ourselves. I actually felt kind of violated. You just dont do that.
