Gusto is a perfect gathering spot! A quiet, comfy, inspiring place with everything you need for a workshop, artist retreat, or social gathering - lots of seating, wicked fast internet, and audio/visual systems that are easy and intuitive. Greg Davis is a wonderful human being and amazing photographer. The studio is close to lots of places to eat/drink in south Austin including the Austin Beer Garden Brewery. Go local and support an great artist at the same time.

I booked Gusto Studios for a photography workshop and was very happy with the space and the process of renting it. It has a cozy vibe with lots of relaxing places to hang out. The projector and speaker system worked perfectly and were very easy to set up. Thanks, Greg, for having a great space available to the art community of Austin.

Gusto Studios and Greg Davis are Austin originals that keep alive the spirit of art, the embrace of diverse cultures and the camaraderie amongst those who appreciate such things. Attending an event here is always a good time. Just swing by during open viewing hours sometime and appreciate the body of work this guys racked up over more than 10 years of globe trotting and appreciating the human spirit across the entire world. His art is available for all budgets too. Bring your wallet, you wont want to go home empty handed.

Having lived in the creative city of Austin for so long and having been hanging out with so many travelers for so many years Ive gotten to meet and know several really great and talented photographers, many of them travel photographers. Greg is by far the best Ive ever met, and his work shows it. Do yourself a favor and get your butt to Gusto Studios and check it out!

Bill Stidham is an amazing artist. I bought artists proofs of Willie Nelson and Dave Matthews from his Sacred Heart series. Bill has an compelling story to tell about how he became an full time artist. His studio mate, Greg Davis, is a National Geographic photographer with stunning pictures taken in India, Africa, Cuba and elsewhere.
