Lovely forested area on the transition between the Piedmont and Coastal Plain. Well marked trails, lovely sensory garden (although right now they ask for no touching), picnic and playground area, pond, butterfly garden - so many interesting parts to visit. The also have great programs, especially for children.

A little gem right in Auburn! Great place to go and just unplug from the daily grind for a short while. Nice little surprises to find along your walk, including a small waterfall. Just stand and listen with your eyes closed for a few minutes!

Amazing place to hike. Very family friendly, has a play area and plenty of shade. Hiking trails are great, not too hard so its nice for senior citizens as well. Has beautiful scenery and a water fall. A sensory garden and an area to hold events. One of the best public outdoor parks around.

Love the walking trails and their programs- the Halloween event was cute, but a little juvenile for the 4th graders we took. I would say that event needs to be described as a 3 yo- 9 yo event

Beautiful trails close to town. There is natural wildlife as well as a few reptiles in cages (alligators), a play ground, hiking trails from beginner to a 5k trail running spot, and the waterfall. The staff is very helpful and there is always something to learn, see, and explore.

A great place to just walk around and slow down for a bit. There is a nice playground for little ones made mostly of things from the forest. The reason why Im giving this three starts is because I went the other day and they mowed all of the underbrush! Now it just feels like you are walking through a construction zone. Sad. Hopefully it will recover quickly.
