I very much enjoy this park. Its peaceful and creepy all at once. I come here with my family and dog often to appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining this place.

Its a cool wilderness walk. A catwalk suspended over the marsh wetlands and it has a kids big toy that I wish I had taken pictures of to show. Only that big toy for kids with no patience or desire to learn though. Have seen some homeless in there but they stay out of sight best as they can and wont bother ya. Cool place for an early morning jog or evening stroll for the cooler season.

Easy boardwalk stroll through wetlands with plenty of informational signage. Fairly short distance for young and old alike. At one end is a lookout tower reached by a flight of stairs.

Nice wetland interactive trail on boardwalks. Its not a long trail, but there are several areas with benches and a birdwatching tower (currently undergoing repairs).

Very shaded, comfortable walk through the woods/wetlands. Benches throughout path for breaks as well. Overall, short walk but beautiful views.

Great place to poke stop. Have met very nice people on the walk and the area is pretty neat to look around. There are a few heron around but you never really get a photo op, theyre so quick. Plenty of parking and the best thing really is its a great place to just get out and grab a breath of fresh air.

Very beautiful “park”. It’s a 1/4 mile one way to the bird watching tower where there’s not much of a view but still a cool spot to have lunch at one of the two picnic tables there. It’s not super quiet as the highway is close and you can sometimes see the cars; but not enough to ruin the experience. There are some homeless people that must sleep there as I’ve ran into them a couple times, but doesn’t bother me. As always be safe and enjoy the outdoors!

These folks are awesome. Its a free service and they are very helpful. Its not a garbage dump so dont waste theirs or your time trying to do a disservice. They have been a BIG help to all that stop in to dispose of household hazardous waste. THANK YOU !

A really nice well built boardwalk in the heart of Auburn thats great for wildlife/birds in the area, but there just isnt enough here to see in this small area to justify coming here very often. If youd like to go for a longer walk there is a sidewalk that connects it to the Interurban trail along the street, but its not all that scenic. Apparently there are some plans to expand this area and I really hope that happens in the future. I still have high hopes for this place as it holds a lot of potential to become more of a designated wildlife area.

Stupidest thing Ive seen built in Auburn & I lived there for 20yrs. Its full of needles & condoms not wildlife. I support the wetlands staying but putting a walk way thru it that kinda secluded only helped the druggies & homeless. I would give it zero stars but I cant!

Ta

Nice boardwalk, but in the winter not much to look at. The parking lot had some sketchy dealings going on the last couple of stops there though.

Je

Its a short walk but its one of my favorites. Better when weve had some rain as the marsh is kinda boring when its dry.

Review №64

The beginning is pretty, but we were only able to get to the first small spot. While reading the first sign, one of us was stung. When we realized what had happened, we left right away. On the walk (which quickly turned into a sprint) out, there were two more strings. Out of the three of us who were exploring, two were stung. It was only on the walk out that I realized there were wasps coming in and out of the board walk cracks. Please be careful if you decide to visit. Make sure nobody is allergic to stings.
