The museums are closed and most of not all of their collection has been sold off. It was a good museum many years ago but now is gone. Went today only to find no sign and closed. Google still has hours and their site is up but has not been edited in a while. Spoke with someone from a nearby museum and the confirmed that it had been closed for some time and they are only using the building for convention type events.

All of their museums is closed at this time. Only having private events. The hours on google say that it is open, but it isn’t. Disappointing to drive to see this place and it isn’t open. Hours need updated on google. Disappointed kid for sure.

My husband loves cars so he probably should be the one writing this review. He was thrilled with the cars he was able to see and photograph. Personally, I don’t know many of them except a few from movies which were neat to see. Very quiet when we went and had a lot of time and space to walk around. Stop by!

Nice museum lots to see, although when on the vehicle side of the museum there was some product demo going on or a in service maybe that was blocking a portion of the exhibit. When my family and I stepped through and around the guy running the show shot us dirty looks. I didnt care I payed my fee to see the whole museum.so deal with it

After driving by this museum for many years, we recently decided to stop and visit. On the plus side, its very easy to find. Plus, its an absolutely huge building. I recently saw it referred to as an expo center and I think that describes it better than a museum. The reason for the three stars is this building doesnt really have a focus. Where we entered was set up for an event (wedding?). Next, you see a sign that says WWII Victory Museum with a few mannequins. Plus a sign that said Gift Shop & ATM but we saw neither. Then theres the baseball exhibit. Nearby were out of order drinking fountains and the restrooms. The ladies room was clean enough but had two out of order stalls and only one working sink.Next you enter a half-empty exhibit room with books and photos. Then the massive area of military history, in no particular order. The two large dioramas were well done. The next room said Home Front with very little to see. This room also contained the Monster Truck displays. My husband enjoyed the car museum side of the building. Perhaps thats where this place is going. More towards vehicles? One can only guess

Neat stuff, but an odd little museum. Needs more signs with the cars on display so people like me can learn more about them. The military side was really really dark & there was no air conditioning. Both womens restrooms needed attention.

Very interesting. Much to see. So many beautiful cars! The racing museum in it is so interesting. The military part is very useful in explaining our military. Thank you for providing the MiLITARY for us. The admission is well worth just one of the museums in the building, let alone all 4 different for one price. Thank you!

I was there for the race car swap meet and car show.I enjoyed but I so much wish they would have had more cars for their show. The museum seem to be empty same as so many cars have been moved out.I hope and pray that more will come back and place their car back into the showcases.

I was disappointed in the car part of the museum, I went probably 4 year prior and it was outstanding. Now they have maybe only 1/3 of what the use to, the military part is amazing and definitely worth a look but if your looking forward to the automotive section you will be disappointed because they sold most of them at auction and there now building a ballroom.

Paid a visit here while camping next door ag the campground that is within walking distance. This place is awesome. If has a lot of military vehicles and displays that have very good discriptive relevant information with respect to the items displayed and the time in history that they represent. Yhey also have aoutomobile display that is part of the museum. This place is a must see if you are in the area or passing thru and have a few hours to spare.

This museum was priced too high. It looks huge from the outside but it should have been a sign to not go here when we were the only ones in the whole building. The car part of the museum was interesting but the war section was put together horribly. Nothing seemed to be in order and there were random mannequin hands, legs, bolts, and lights laying around everywhere. It was a really odd experience and we were disappointed.

Drove almost an hour to check out the museum, when I got there nobody was at the front desk, but their half eaten lunch was there. I called the museum multiple times, walked through the building (which was mostly dark) and called out to ask if anyone was there. After about 15 minutes of not hearing or seeing anyone, I wrote my number and a note on the front desk and left. I never received a call back so I called them only to be told that they were doing inventory in the back. I find it unprofessional to not have the museum lights on, not be at the front desk, not leave a sign, and be unreachable when the museum is OPEN. A waste of time... sadly.

I really hate to say it, but this place has went way down hill. Ive been here several times through out the years and its just a shell of its former glory. Its mostly empty with no direction for the displays. The car and war part are tiny compared to the last few times I have been here.

This museum is a real find. They boast many one of a kind Allied and German vehicles from WWII. They have a lot of floor space and house uniformed mannequins in various poses representative of German and Allied soldiers in WWII.We were lucky enough to have a guided tour by one of the knowledgeable and friendly staff. My son and I had a wonderful time and recommend this if you are in the area and if your not in the area make a detour to Auburn, and see what makes America great.

Stay away. This used to be a wonderful museum but now (August 2018) it is all but done. Most of interesting cars are gone and the military side is literally in shambles. Toilets havent been cleaned probably for weeks. Very sad, but worst of all: they keep charging $15 entry fee. Shame.

Very Sad and disappointed !My Wifes son came in from the Air Force to visit so I remember going here many years ago and thought we would take him today. The place might as well shut down as its a complete embarrassment and makes no sense. All the great military equipment they once had is gone and everything is just thrown together, big time shame. Very clear its going down hill and the funding is gone so its falling apart.. To Bad .....

I will keep this to the point. I felt ticket prices were too high, 15.00 for one adult. At first, the huge building seemed impressive, but when you walk in, you see that 1/3 of the building is empty. The lighting was absolutely terrible, prepare yourself if you plan pictures. The actual displays were rather smallish and poorly executed. The only refreshments was a soda can dispenser and the bathrooms were GROSS.If I was you, Id reconsider another attraction. Nearby Grissom Air Park was MUCH better if you like planes.

We visited during our grandsons Turning Blue and Graduation. It was overwhelming! With it closing at 5, the lunch hour is a must for dining after graduation or a visit.

Great experience. A lot of exhibits have connections to Indiana residents. One admission gets you into two museums. Great value. The car museum attached to this is great! Batmobile, General Lee from the Dukes of Hazard and even Fonzis motorcycle! And much more. Who knew these things were in Indiana! People were very friendly. Definitely worth stopping. There is also an antique mall and Ford museum in the same complex.

Mom and I chose wisely by picking this for our Smithsonian Museum Day free admission. Lots of cool WWII vehicles on one side, and may interesting custom car show pieces in the other side, including KITT, the A-Team van, and the Batmobile from Batman Returns. They have plenty of room to add more stuff. However, calling themselves the National one is definitely a bit presumptuous.
