Had to say I had an amazing experience watching Iron Maiden live. Worth the trip to get over here. Luckily it didnt rain as I was out side but even then. The view was still great and sound was still loud and punchy. Till next time. Would definitely come back again in the future.

Drove up to this amphitheater to see dead and company this summer. Not a high end venue but comfortable. Traffic getting in and out is a little nutty. Once it was dark you could see everything on stage a bit clearer from the grass seating.

Parking was free and very easy, they had plenty of people directing traffic before and after the concert! Security was fast and they had plenty of nice people working the gates! I saw a lot of police and medical personnel on site. Venue was really good, sound was great for outside venue. But, it was absolutely slammed with people in the grass! Luckily very nice people cause it was next to impossible to make your way to concessions without stepping on somebodys blanket! BTW ... rent chairs if you dont have any low risers to bring! Except for the$15 beer & $16 mixed drink... its a great place for a concert!@

Dont expect the staff to be friendly or knowledgeable. Saying, for instance, you had VIP tickets and were looking to get the laminate to go back stage. You would ask the first person you see. Oh, the VIP Table is over there. Cool, check out the VIP table and get the response this is the VIP Lounge, the table is on the opposite side. Alright, thanks. Go to the other side, surprise! No table. Go back to the VIP Lounge where they tell you to get your laminate after they take you back stage... What? You mean to tell me you dont need a badge to get back stage? I think you might be dumb enough to ride the short bus. All of this back and forth and eventually it is a security guard that leads us in the right direction.

Great place to see and hear music! Ive been here many times, but never on the lawn so that experience may differ. Drinks cost a small fortune. Tall domestic beer in n a can was about $12. Because of venue size you will spend many hours before and after for parking entry and exit. Be prepared with cooler in your vehicle!

This was my first time visiting Cellairis Amphitheatre. The venue itself is nice. But all of the rules for the Freaknik concert, were awful. I am not sure if you thought that because it was a Freaknik crowd, we were just going to be Rowdy and unstable or not. But we paid our money and just wanted to have a good time. For the most part, this was a 35 and up event.First, how can you have a concert that is from 1 to 11 and not allow people to bring their own food as other outdoor amphitheaters do? If youre not going to allow people to bring their own food, you should not run out of food. Our time is valuable. At one point we stood in line 30 minutes, paid for our food, and then in another 15 to 20 minutes were told they are sold out on what weve already paid for and wasted about 45 minutes of our time missing the concert. If you are expecting a crowd of about 15000 people, you need to be accommodating for such. I dont know if this falls on the promoter, Live Nation, or the venue, but someone definitely missed the mark on this one. Then on a day when rain and extreme heat is expected, no one is allowed to bring umbrellas. But, several people were able to get umbrellas in the event.Lets talk about safety. An event this size, I expected to see more Security in place. The entire time I was there I only saw three officers. Im sure there are more. But there was not a presence of security. When it rained the first time, everyone rushed to the covered area. All of the aisles were packed and there was nowhere to go. Has something happened, it would have been total chaos. People with lawn seats were able to just take refuge and enjoy the rest of the concert in the seated area. Unless someone came to claim those seats, that was a free upgrade. If I was a ticket holder in a covered seat, I would feel slighted. But thats neither here nor there. The concert could have gone a lot better than it did. Whoever was in charge of this concert, need to retire. Also, when purchasing the parking, it shows as it is reserved parking, but that wasnt the case either. Getting it to you that was another nightmare. Where were the officers to direct traffic? Everyone was running the light. You literally had to force your way into the parking lot.I went and looked at videos of other patrons at different types of concerts and see that they were able to bring their own food in. Why was that not the case with this concert? They were also able to bring in umbrellas. Again, why not this concert? My overall experience wasnt great. I didnt feel safe if something was to happen. There was absolutely no structure.

I was actually impressed with this place. I have never been before and the seating was great! I loved that there was covering and there was an area that was uncovered on a lawn. I recommend if you are coming here for a concert to park a distance and walk. DO NOT PARK IN THEIR LOT.We parked in the lot owned by the theater it took us about an hour to get to the actual parking lot it was either $40 or $60 then 1.5 hours to get out of the parking lot when the event ended. My entire mood changed by the time we got out and my boyfriend was falling asleep waiting to get out so I had to end up driving .The actual setup of the venue was nice, we could see the stage from our seats. There was plenty of staff to help with seating. The concession staff was insanely rude. Sad there weren’t any picture booths.

Great concert stage and sound! My biggest problem is the parking lot, its hard to get a good spot unless you arrive very early to the event and I am not a fan of the location. Its okay. Down side, terrible part of town, volume of the show is kinda low unless you are at the stage. If you are on the lawn, the only place youll be guaranteed to see is at the back up the hill but even then your so far away you cant really make out the singer. The web site has incorrect info on it. It says you cannot bring chairs or blankets. This is not true. You can bring beach type chairs with legs no longer than 9. You can bring blankets. It was entertaining to watch people try to walk along the hill in cowboy boots and continue to slip back down. I only saw two who actually thought to take them off.

I have been to this venue a couple times now. This is actually one of my favorite venues to see a show in Atlanta.I am a smoker. Most venues have relegated us to either suffer without or step outside in a small area stuffed with other smokers to get our nicotine fix. This venue allows smoking anywhere on the lawn, allowing me to enjoy the. Show uninterrupted! The food is pricey, but there are unique offerings (Danny Trejos Tacos!!!) Get there early enough and there is some free parking available. All reserved seats are situated with a clear line of sight to the stage!

The Police do not really help the traffic issues, getting into and from this venue is stressful. You aren’t allowed to bring umbrellas so ponchos are a great option if there is inclement weather. No bottles either. Your handbag will be searched after you pass through the metal detector. They are amazing with directing you to your seat(s). Sound and lighting is great. We almost chose the fast lane option, but it’s a waste because you have assigned seating (unless noted). An hour headstart before the venue is a great idea. We found a lot with FREE parking vs the $25 offer online to parking on the Amphitheatre’s lot. A short walk, vendors with T-shirt’s and food on the way. If the weather is great, I’d park FREE and walk. Can’t wait to return to Chris Brown’s concert.Twas an amazing night .

Parking lot is well lit on the premium side, that was a plus, took 50 minutes to get out after the concert - suggest going to the outside to get out quicker, going down the aisles was a nightmare. The bathrooms need a HUGE update, they have not been kept up very well at all. The amphitheater part was impressive. The seats were great, the premium box seating was good other than you are given a seat number when you purchase but its first come first serve in the box which is bar stools, so we didnt rush in and ended up sitting in the back of the box behind 5 other peoples heads and no room to get up / dance of you want to ... I know its about how many ppl you can get in the venue but they def need to rethink the chair count in those boxes. Staff acted like everyone had visited this venue before, looked at you weird if you didnt know where to go/had questions.Sound was very good from our seats. Could feel the bass and was loud. My husband and I attended the Praise In The Park gospel concert. The concert was AWESOME but, the food prices were tremendously inflated, why? I had chicken nachos with a fruit punch drink. The quality nor quantity of the food wasnt worth the prices that we all were charged. The nachos had less than half of the toppings that youd get if ordered at the restaurant but, youre paying three(3) times that cost, $23 instead of $8. The wait time was horrendous. The food concessions didnt have enough employees to serve the masses of customers. Theres NO WAY that we shouldve had to wait over 45 mins. in line and then, over 19 mins. to get your order. We were away from our seats for over an hour. The others in our seating area thought that wed decided to leave the concert early. My first concert and I was SORELY DISAPPOINTED! For the money that is asked of us we deserve greater service. Id felt better with paying those prices if the food and service was greater, come on people!
