Many trails through the trees in this quiet park, and a rewarding hike up the mountain for the best views of Atascadero. The mountain path is in disrepair, so wear good shoes: youll be glad to have some grip. If the oaks were better thinned out there could be more beautiful views.

Stadium is a great in town hiking park. It’s not a park in the sense of having a lawn and picnic tables or a playground, but more an open space close to downtown Atascadero that is threaded with trails. You hike among the oak woodland landscape. There are a few options to get to the top, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Atascadero and the surrounding countryside. It is an uphill climb, but easy to do in about 30-45 minutes. It makes a great place for a sunrise or sunset. If climbing uphill is not your fancy, there are other trails that have a more modest elevation change

Love that this hike is close to home and has great views. I think more trail signs would benefit people so they know what trail goes where.

Well maintained trails. Always people around but not crowded makes these trails feel safe for running, hiking and biking. The nicest thing is the guides to plant life along the trails.

Great for hiking with dog in Atascadero, very steep. Be careful if your dog is on leash as accidents are more probable with steep and narrow paths

This is a great place to hike in town. Theres sort of a weird crowd they hangs out around here, but for hiking and fitness purposes it gets the job done.

I love making this hike. It is bigger than it seems, though the main course will only take about a 30 minute leisurely hike. There are however many trails that loop around, and I have yet to hike them all in over a year of weekend trips.Definitely peaceful, you will meet many other hikers along the way, a beautiful view of the city from the top.

This is a wonderful small hiking park with many winding connections to keep things interesting. And, from the main summit of Pine Hill mountain you have a beautiful view of downtown Atascadero, CA.

As a park this place sucks. As a botanical garden its pretty boring. As a hike its really good. From about halfway up you can see almost the whole town. Its about the same intensity as Bishop Peak but much shorter. Id say it takes 45 minutes on average from top to bottom. Just dont go when its hot, because theres not much shade.
