Not a bad course, I think its a good course to learn and try to improve your game. Greens are fast, fairways are nicely defined. The course is rough in some areas but they are trying to improve those. Walk or ride available plus clubhouse with food and drink. Driving range and putting area also on premise.

Chalk Mountain Golf Course is a great facility. This place is very well maintained. Has a driving range and practice putting greens. The golf course has a nice pro shop. The staff are all friendly. My personal favorite is the restaurant. Have a good menu from cold sandwiches to a BBQ hamburger. I recommend the breakfast burritos, yum

A great place to play golf. Its a popular place and is a little pricey near holidays, but it can prove to be a great course if youre a beginner looking to step it up a little or a professional looking for a course that has its own nuances. The people who run the little snack-shack are really kind and polite, and the person at the register for the course is always nice.Beginner friendly, but be prepared to not make anywhere near par and/or play best ball. This is the course I started on and still have yet to make under a double bogie or whatever the term is.

Great layout and fast greens. Tee boxes A bit unkempt with milced grass. But im splitting hairs. An enjoyable 9 holes under 2 hours. Ill play it again next time Im i. Town

Chalk Mountain golf course is in good shape right now. Greens are running at a good pace for my level of play, fairways have been consistently cut as of late. The track is definitely target golf, if you can hit the spot you pick, then you can score well. Trouble, on the other hand, is just that.

Good bargain golf course -- $46 for 18 with a cart. Not overly difficult but a few holes got the better of me. Not long. Greens were in great shape. No water, less a couple of small streams. Id go again.

One of the best gougorus golf courses in Atascadero

We played in the afternoon with cart for less than 80 bucks for 2 of us. Wasnt anything we expected . Difficult, but fair. Challenging in every aspect of the game . Good use of terrain. A pleasure to be amongst the amazing wildlife. And the sandwich was truly incredible. Lots of roll ups and downs amongst Majestic Oaks. If we lived here wed play a lot more. Fairway grass is surprisingly spotty. Greens &tees are in good shape. Very friendly and helpful staff. Busy!

Great little gem in atascadero, the Jim green trails are great for running. Got in a twelve mile nice and early with lots of wildlife.

Really enjoyed playing this course. The greens are quite well maintained, and you can tell staff and management really put some soul into this place. Tried the burger afterward, very nice, and reasonable prices. Definitely will be making this a regular visit for myself.

Nice gulf coarse. We live in nipomo n like when it warms up in Atascadero Ca.

Place has deteriorated, no maintenance on facilities, charging top price. Bathrooms in disrepair.Needs a real contractor, not minimum wage flunkies.

This course offers a little of everything. Hills, valleys, dog legs. Very nice course.

A challenging and beautiful course, filled with wildlife, rolling hills, gray fairways and greens, and great management.

Basically a goat path. Greens were inconsistent. Some slow some fast. Lumpy, burnt in spots. No aiming points on blind tee shots. Poor lies . Not worth $ 50.00
