Disc Golf : first time player at this course. Well maintained, not too challenging. Pretty tough to lose a disc. The holes do overlap each other a lot so you have to know where you are going.

Great dog park, fun playground, and spray pad (when covid isnt around), and good hiking with disc golf course.

Nice off-the-beaten path park has lawn, playground, disc golf course, restrooms, picnic areas. Used to have water play, not sure if it still does. Disc golf area is dry and hot in summer. Park is well maintained and welcoming.

Great park if the grass was green. The dryness of it doesnt make it pleasurable. Not sure if theres a trail around it but what I did see it s Great for puppies n disc golfers.

An open and quiet park. Theres not much there as far as entertainment and amenities and the benches are old and the landscape is really dry and brown in the summer but its a nice open space to have sports and events. And the disc golf course is fun.

Due to covid the play ground is closed , but there is a lot of grass and shade PERFECT for the family to get some fresh air

Our family loves this course. We visit it several timesavers week. It’s great that it’s so beautiful and it’s free. The only complaint I have is that people don’t return lost discs. Several of my family members have misplaced discs with names and phone numbers written on the underside, not one has been returned.

Huge park, was hard to find the dog park parking lot using Google maps, guys were drinking alcohol and playing frizbee golf, didnt enjoy the dog park little dog Area was tiny..... not my atmosphere

Its a classic. Cant go wrong with Heilmann Regional Park.

This park has a little bit of everything! Disk golfing, dog park and two jungle gyms for the kids.It also has BBQ pits so you can get the family together and relax. Plenty of shade

Fun for the kids, BUT it needs some love and maintenance.

Theres a wonderful view of the state hospital from the park. It makes me grateful that I am able to enjoy all that the park has to offer. Theres a dog park. Theres frisbee golf. Theres even some tennis courts and if youre lucky you might even spot a wild boar running around in a tutu asking for change. Please do not give it any. Itll just end up eating it and last time I checked, coins are not good for pigs.

Great beginner to moderate disc golf course with some easy straight shots and some more technical turns with trees.

I love that the park has a barbecue and benches and places to sit and eat I like the the water park when it gets hot for the kids I like the fact that theres safety sound instead of bark on the ground I wish the benches were a bit closer to the actual Park so you could just get up and run to your kid instead of being about a hundred yards away

This is a great dog park that has barbecue pits, horseshoes, two playgrounds, and an 18 basket disc golf course. Its also next to a golf course, so thats also neat.

Great family place. Kids jungle gym equipment, a wonderful enclosed dog park, BBQ pits avail. And clean bathrooms. A+

Great regional park for disc golf, tennis and pickle ball (Sunday group that plays). Room for kids and pets. Locals help with maintenance activities so you get a neat community vibe. May want to bring your own water as not all water fountains are functional. Park is on a hill so be prepared for dirt pathways.

Fairly quiet park with lots of amenities nestled in a small oak forest.Tennis courts,Hiking trails,playground, restrooms and picnic sites with BBQs.

Nice little park. Two baseball baseball diamonds with fences and scoreboards. Theres also two soccer fields. Between the baseball and soccer field theres walkways so you can walk between them. Around the whole park is a trail that you can walk around take your dog on. Theres always nice people walking around there exercising or just kicking back. Theres also a play structure for the kids the parking lot is good size with trees for shade on one side of the parking lot. You could also leave the park and go on to a pretty cool little Trail by some houses

Theres lots to do at this park, but best to do them early in the day to avoid the things others have already mentioned.The Frisbee golf course is quite awesome for those wanting a rougher feeling experience.The kids play areas have a lot to offer, at the right times of day.Not the best park to hold events or get-togethers though it could be easily if the city watched it a bit better.

I really like this park. Ive had a lot of family parties here. Its also the only park in town with a disc golf course. Theres a nice play structure with some water attractions for kids. As well as a dog park and some tennis courts. Theres always a few homeless people around though.

That is a nice disc golf course. Tightly packed, the back 9 in the ravine is a wonderful challenege.

Great place for family time. Lots of trees for shade and grass to lay on.

Fun park. Besides the playground equipment there is a water shower that the kids like. Also for the adults there is frisbee golf.

This could be a nice place. It has two playgrounds, a dog park, and a fountain for kids to play in on hot days, tennis courts, and a large frisbee golf course. The problem is that it also is a free camp for unsavory types. But if you dont mind loud groups of people listening to death metal, that look like they would steal the copper out of anything not locked down. Then youd like this place.

This is my backyard stay out of it. Its all mine.

I come here for the disc golf only. The course is well maintained and they change it up all the time. There is also a picnic area and horseshoe pit. There is a play area for the kids towards the far end of the park. This park has a very Atascadero vib to it if you know what I mean.

Lots of drunks in public. But thats allowed in a-town. LolDrunk frisbee golf and dodgeball are the games here.

Playground, small field,picnic tables, barbque..lots of trees and a water sprinkler...love it..great place to go.

Very well kept tennis courts. I play there as often as I can find an available partner.

Best disc golf in the county, dog park, horseshoes, two play areas, multiple picnic and BBQ spots and tennis courts... This place has it all and is nestled in an oak/pine forest with views of the foothills.
