Quaint little restored fort in the middle of downtown Astoria

A good family friendly park!

This is a recreation of the birthplace of the town of Astoria. Basically a historical site only. There is an Astorial Fort about 2 miles away but we did not have time to go there.

Cool little stop.

It is ok, but Ft Clatsop just across Youngs Bay is much better.

Enjoyed our tour very much. Unique city with interesting history. Dont miss driving over the long bridge, just thrilling to be that far above the water...... beautiful views!!!!

Not a lot there to do. It is just a small wooden building, and they have covered up the windows so you cant see the inside. There are some good restaurants near the fort though.

Nice little area to chill on the grass during a warm day..nothing too big..

No pic to share, but had a take out picnic lunch there recently and it was awesome!

Me, I can not read any of the Asian Languages, but here at this place, there was Respect and Honor paid to those who traveled from the far west to make their life in the Pacific NorthWest, and in that, I was Proud.

Easily accessible. At ground level, but its not much to look at. If you arent paying attention you can walk right past it.
