There are plenty of trails here, and the trails are well marked. the quarries were nice but not very impressive. there are a few abandoned antique vehicles across the forest that were neat to find. I hiked here for about two hours doing most of the trails.

Nice fairly large sized local forest. Bring a copy of the map, it is quite easy to get lost without one!

Beautiful woods conveniently located, but the trails are not well marked, which makes them a bit difficult to follow. Some hidden treasures in the woods if you enjoy finding strange cars in unusual places.

If you havent gone for a hike in the Ashland Town Forest, youre missing one of Ashlands great treasures. You can spend hours hiking the network of trails and rarely see another soul. Experience nature! Do watch out for mosquitos during some times of the year.
