If I could leave a zero star I would. They don’t deserve 1 star. I was turned away WITH a covid approved mask. Because it was the style of a neck gaiter. Communist.

Excellent experience for our first time there! Very clean environment including the bathrooms. Bathrooms were stocked (shocking I know). Concession area was clean and staff was friendly. Theaters were clean. Seats were AMAZING!!! Not only do they recline, but they are HEATED as well. This was our first but definitely not our last.

A very nice FANTABULOUS experience! Clean and spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Comfortable environment and has features for the disabled, such as wheelchair accessible spots and closed caption. I recommend EVERYONE to visit this particular movie theater (did I mention that the surrounding view is gorgeous for the mountain sight?) for watching with the whole family!

I want to say good things. Customer service isnt bad. But if you dare want to get anything to eat youre going to have to take out a loan or pawn your your mothers kidney to get a simple and very very cheap bowl of popcorn and soda. So I am the theater smuggler. I got my coat on with a bag of popcorn which I paid $1 for at Dollar tree, bag of m&Ms which I paid a dollar for a Dollar tree, and about five cans of Coke in which I disperse to other patrons. Im like the Robin Hood of AMC theaters. I dont feel bad at all either, you paid $20 for what I just paid $3 for. But I like that they have movies so thats cool.

Went last minute while we were in town to see Star Wars. Dont let the outside (or inside) appearance fool you. The theater room we were in had electric powered lounge chair-style seats. They were amazing! Best seats Ive ever been in at a movie theater. Screen wasnt the biggest, but it was a pleasant experience with a home theater feel.

Comfortable seats and social distancing

Cleanliness of establishment leaves something to be desired. Upon opening on a Sunday, bathrooms had not been cleaned nor stocked from the night before. Front windows were dirty, you could barely see through them and the carpet had not been vacuumed. There was only one person working ticket window and we had to stand in line for 20 minutes in 37 degree weather. The movie was scheduled for 2pm but did not actually start till 3. On the plus side the new heated recliners were nice, came in handy after freezing in line.

Staff super friendly, hvac system was broken, so, quite chilly. The seats have the heating system, so, kept toasty under my jacket. They even said if its to child, they will refund our money and charged a childs fee. My only complaint, sticky arm rests. That was gross. They need to wipe the seats down quickly. Theyre leather.

If youre in the mood for a movie, this is a great theater to see it in. My favorite feature about this theater are the seats. Basically an over-sized recliner that heats up and reclines with a foot rest.Always has fast service for snacks, facility and restrooms are always being cleaned and paid attention to. And there is a full service bar for those who like their adult beverage while watching Frozen 2.Seats are always reserved so purchasing online ahead of time is a great option and a way to make sure you get the best seat in the house regardless of your arrival time (through you will pay a premium to buy ahead of time).

Bathroom was disgusting. Lights stayed on way too bright in the theater. In fact, Im writing this from inside the theater and it wont bother anyone that my phone screen is lit up because thats how bright it is in here. If youre more than an average-sized person youll find the seats are too narrow and your hips will hit the button that reclines the seat . 2 stars because at least they recline.

Seats were nice but do not get a seat near the doors. The whole time our movie was interrupted because of people walking in and out of the theater. They should have done a better design so people paying for movies are not disturbed constantly and can enjoy the movie.

We bought tickets on line which was totally unecessary but we thought we would beat the lines. We didnt know that we would be charged a convenience charge The tickets were ridiculous to begin with $12 with the senior discount and then a $3.50 additional charge. And you still stand in line! Convenience? We bought popcorn, when he said that was $8 for the small I thought he had made a mistake. I will not be in a hurry to go back to this theatre. $24 for a movie with popcorn. No soda....CRAZY And I saw that someone commented on how clean it was. That wasnt our experience. The bathroom trash was so full that the automatic dispense of a paper towel went into the mound of towels in the trash.

Came in looking to apply & Kimberly was very helpful, informative, and kind. The other staff was warm too! Also great movie selection!!

I enjoyed a movie with my son. He really enjoyed being able to recline as if he was at home. Great kids pack as well.

Good theater. Fun place to go and watch a movie. If you are late to a movie or you didnt get the good seats you wanted, the seats arent at much of an angle so if you have front row seats it isnt as bad on your neck as other places are.

A super nice theatre now! When I was a kid it was kind of run down but it got a remodel a few years back and is really sterile and clean now, which can be good, but doesnt have as much charm as it used to. Good place to see films without going all the way to biltmore Park!

Small with not as much to offer as some other AMC Theaters, but not bad. I noticed a lot of reviews about its cleanliness, but when we were there the lobby, the theater and the bathrooms were all clean. I definitely agree with concessions being way overpriced. Overall we were satisfied and will return.

Great theater and screens but the high school squad of employees closes the concessions 10 mins after the 815 showings. So no refills. No candy. No popcorn after you go to your seats. Awful customer service and concessions.

Honestly, my experience at this place doesnt even deserve the 1 star that I gave. It was the worst movie theater experience Ive ever had. Im on vacation visiting family and we were just out for a nice family day. There was only 1 person working the concessions at first. ALL of the drink machines were down but we werent informed until after I spent $40 bucks on concessions including 3 large drink cups. This theater, including the inconsiderate workers, was terrible. Communication that the drink machine was down would have been nice before allowing me spend my hard earned money on the cup. And I truly hope that none of people that finally did show up to work were not managers because that place is seriously in trouble if so. Extremely Disappointed Customer from out of town!!!!

I dont go out for many movies. The screen and chairs were great. But theres no signage to help you find your theater and the print for seat number and theater number are so small neither me nor my guest could read either. Clearly there is no manager who has any customer experience. Tech is great... Annoyances like these are ridiculous.

The lobby and building is a bit dated but theyve recently renovated the theaters and added the big electric lounge chairs to every seat. The reason I gave it three stars is because the lounge chairs are curved and round my body in such a way as to compress my diaphragm which becomes uncomfortable after about 15 minutes. If those chairs had lumbar support, they would be perfect.

When you walk into the lobby, it smells like burnt oil. Almost a little smoky. Candy is sparse. Forget about using your online ticket code because their scanner can’t read it. The attendant started asking for some code number. I showed her my receipt but she wanted a number. I had her call the manager and he let me in.

Dirty, outdated, cold theatre,small recliners. You HAVE to go through the concession line in order to scan the tickets you ALREADY purchased online. The bar has never been open when Im there... Its like you started trying to update it and then gave up halfway through. The staff are really sweet and you can tell they are uncomfortable about the place too. Help them work somewhere they can be proud!

Always enjoy myself

It was very cold in the theater and the weather on this March day was cold. I told one of the employees about this but the theater remained cold. Then after a good while, my husband went and spoke to another employee and it was stated that the heat had been turned up. It was so cold we had to button our coats and wear gloves. We could not even enjoy the movie Bad Boys because we were too cold. After the movie I told a young man, who I assumed to be in charge, that the theater remained very cold during the entire movie. He apologized but said he didnt know why the temperature did not get warm. He did not offer any compensation (i.e. free tickets or popcorn) and I dont think this was good customer service.

I paid $5.76 online convenience fee so I could pass the line and use the kiosk....well...there is no kiosk. I called the 800 number requesting my $5.76 back (not the ticket purchase itself, just the online convenience fee) due to this fact and was told that it is nonrefundable, those are the rules and asked is there anything else she could help me with. I told her no but that I did appreciate her letting me know that their company was stealing money from anyone buying tickets online and admitting to it by making it nonrefundable.

The most comfortable reclined, heated seating and friendly helpful staff. However, the theatre, floors, seats, cupholders, etc were filthy. We even asked a sweet employee to wipe our seats down, which she did happily, but it barely made a dent in the stickiness and grime. The bathrooms had obviously not been attended to in some time either. Could still be a great little theatre if more attention were put in to keeping it clean.

Comfortable recliners but bathrooms were in need of care and supplies, bought tickets online and still had to wait on a long line to get them printed. Only two persons working.

It was open, but didnt look like it. Boxes piled up in the corner. Movie theater is super small and you must go on line to get best seats. Inside the theater appeared clean and staff were friendly.

The lobby is a little dated in weird, a little too much popcorn on the floors, the garbage cans were overflowing outside the theater that we went into, and the food options dont even remotely reflect the healthy Asheville lifestyle, but I had to give this at least four stars because Ive never in my life had such a comfortable movie watching experience. Have you ever heard of heated seats that recline? OMG! Im seriously considering a membership. LOL

Terrible service, workers were rude, popcorn was stale and overpriced (as well as everything else). There are so many better theatres to go than this one.

This place rocks for several different reasons, #1 its usually pretty clean, #2 its rarely super packed so you dont feel cramped, 3# the prices are cheaper than the other places in town which is always a plus. This is the theater that I always go to because of all these reasons and the popcorn is good too, rarely stale.

Nice new reclining seating. Lots of pop corn under the seats, there vacuum must not reach under there. A gold mind for rodents! Long hallway, a little spooky, like in The Shinning. They should be ashamed of themselves to charge so much for popcorn, like $7-8.

The movie experience itself is pretty great, with reclining seats and foot rests. The movies are mostly reserved seating, and the newer theater rooms have two-seat next to each other sorta combination. While we got a little unlucky with our timing, and found two seats that were part of two separate two-seat combos, theyre still close enough to each other (so dont worry if you find yourself in a position like that). The popcorn is pretty expensive compared to other theaters in bigger cities.

It was slow for a Saturday night. But staff was great the seating was great. I will be back.

Terrible service! Employee named Maddux rudely rejected a customer in front of me and myself asking for candy to get for our showing. I asked for a manager politely and to no avail I was never assisted and was rudely and loudly told WE ARE CLOSED NO MORE FOOD TONIGHT, this is ridiculous for a theater to stop concession before the last movie is even theough previews. Good luck here where teenagers without supervision while working apathedically destroy guest experiences and company profits. Will not come back here ever again!!

Legit one of the more classy vintage style Theaters I have ever been to an spin it out with a couple of modern amenities like reclining designated seats an of course the classic combo menus for your f&b pleasures. My only complaint, if u could even call it that was that the reclining seats, stopped about ½ a seconds press of my prime recline as I call it. But both picture quality an sound surround systems were in check and on top top point. I grew up with an older sister who once was one of a very select few who managed the Regal back when it was on Hendersonville rd still, before it became what is now known as the Carolina Cinemas we know it to be today. So me an my other sister got shown an told the qualifications for what a theater complex had to live up to, as well as what to look for when screening a new movie film, one night prior to the opening date, to spot white noise, burnt film spots, audio overlay issues as well as any lighting issues that may arise. So Im not bragging when I tell you this, but AMC experience is gonna be regals running mate an will quite literally blow u back into your seats, so make sure u are ready for a real movie experience before u go. Because I promise youll get nothing less than everything at AMC

Not the dirtiest theater Ive ever been to, but definitely in the top 5. The reclining seats are nice, but humans are gross and will spill EVERYWHERE, and unfortunately the employees cant clean under every single seat in between show times. Movie snack prices are ridiculous to begin with, but I watched the woman behind the counter drop two pieces of an order on the ground on the way into the little oven and just kick them under the counter and use it as a complete order anyway. To be fair to the employees, they seemed a little short staffed- lines wrapping around in the lobby with only a few people to handle it.

Best movie theater in Western NC. Heated reclining seats, fast lines, small theaters (fewer people talking). Premiere members are treated as they should be.

It’s been a few years since we visited as the place was really run down. Now it’s undergoing a major renovation. NO ASSIGNED SEATS!!!! Yea!!!! Recliner seats in a gentle radial pattern really works. Probably due to being in transition, the selection of eats is very poor. Also, at least in theater 5, the picture is dim and flickering. The staff is first rate. Great parking. My hopes are high for this cineplex.

Movie screen in theatre 8 had multiple flaws that interfered with the enjoyment of the movie. Choice of treats was very small and expensive. Theatre was clean and the staff of one was nice.

Ill be generous with the three stars. First I will mention the remodel, the modern heated, electronic, adjustable seats are a very nice addition to a regular theatre. Second I was a little disappointed to see that the signage for all the movies hanging over the doorways had been done away with, which actually caused some confusion at first trying to figure out which room Godzilla was playing in, asked a staff member who was helpful, and turns out its printed on the movie tickets now. Another thing is the night I was there they were very understaffed in the lobby, even for a Wednesday night, one employee doing it all behind the concession counter. A few folks came in while I was in line for popcorn wondering how to get tickets, I would advise getting your tickets ahead of time, nobody was in the ticket box. Now for the two complaints, the employee behind the counter was handling money with the same food gloves that she was getting popcorn with, also I was overcharged a doller for a small bag of popcorn which should have been 7.50 $ or so, not the price of a big bucket. Finally Ill finish my review by saying, Ill likely come back again, but will not be buying any food or drink at this location any more.

Wow. I havent been since they obviously upgraded the place and its friggin nice. The chairs are super comfortable, heated, reclining lazyboy style chairs. The sound system is extremely crisp and clear. I have moderate hearing loss and theaters are challenging to understand the talking parts but not today. The concessions were standard candy, popcorn and soda which was on point but nothing special. They do have a bar which is a nice touch if you are a drinker. Ticket prices were very fair for such a nice theater. Ill be back again.

A renovation doesnt make much difference when the quality is lacking. No one tells you that the staff closes the lobby early, and when you go to a late movie theyll turn you away from being able to refill your expensive drink. This has happened to us the last two movies that weve gone to. At the very least a line should be made that goes only to the drink machine so the rest of the lobby can still be closed early. The volume is frequently less than theater quality which was a disappointment last night when we came to see Midway and the sound of bombs going off was no better than a shot being fired. When we came to see Zombieland a few weeks ago the movie cut off right in the middle and someone had to go alert the staff. I know theres only so much that you can get out of teenage staff, but I expect more when it costs nearly $30 to see a movie for two people and another $16 for popcorn and a drink.

Compared to the past, I certainly see improvement! Spacious rows, really comfortable heated recliners, fancy new drink machines... Room for improvement includes cleaning in theater rooms (in seats and under), keeping popcorn fresh (ours was burnt and stale), and better timing (we stared at a blank screen for 20 minutes until previews started AT showtime.) Concessions are expensive at competing theaters, too, but the tickets are more affordable here.Overall, I will at least return to see if the feedback has been taken into account.

Went to see a showing of us and the first two rows were filled with teenagers (could not have been older than 15) without an adult. As the film I was seeing was rated R, I knew immediately that this location did not ID those who bought tickets. Unfortunately their constant talking and laughing at important scenes ruined my experience of this movie. Many people in the theatre kept shushing them and someone eventually went out to complain - none of these actions quieted them down. As I am familiar with the rules of an R rated movie (must be 17 in order to purchase ticket or be accompanied by and adult of 21+ years) I was extremely disappointed that a lack of common rule following hindered my experience while watching the movie.

The theater itself isn’t bad, but they’ve been renovating since I moved here last April. Also, they don’t have any daytime or late night shows during the week... not everyone works 9-5’s and I personally like to go in the mornings before work. The scanners for the a-list app never works, I always have to give my code. All of which are minor issues, but together drastically effects my experience. The only reason I go to this theater is because it is the only AMC in my area.

Redone with reclining chairs, the AMC remodel has hit this place, not sure if it is done. But the reclining chairs are a big plus!

We arrived 10 min before show time, no one was in ticket booth. We had to wait in line inside at the popcorn counter, behind 15 ppl trying to decide what to order (popcorn, large, small, butter, chicken tenders, fancy popcorn, pretzel, cheese, chips, small coke, large sprite, fountain drink, spring water, blah blah blah). When we finally got to the counter, 8 min after preview start time we were told the only seats available were on the front row. We left. The one guy working was quite nice - but WHY NOT HAVE STAFF AT TICKET WINDOW? We came home and watched Netflix.

This theater is AWESOME now that its an AMC! Love having an AMC theater in town! Now we need an IMAX!

Our movie was cancelled. The projector crashed. They traded us tickets, but didnt offer us any other compensation for our trouble. If I was you Id go to a different theater.

Like others have said, the concession prices are through the roof. Off-putting really. Eat before, or after seeing a movie.

We have been twice now. Not again. Place is filthy and trash behind counters and in movie seats and on theater floor. Tonight the bar was closed as no one here on a Friday night to serve. Think they are sick but no manager to help.

Theatre was trashed with no clear signs of it being closed for the day at 7pm despite there being movie times posted for 7 and later. Employees inside just gawked at us and no one picked up the phone when we called. Will not be back despite it being insanely close.

Not really a great theater, but the staff is pleasant at least. The seat row heights arent staggered, so if some tall person sits in front of you and youre of average height, like me, then youre pretty much out of luck. Also, theater 8 has some weird black lines on the screen that are very distracting.

Extremely rude staff having arguments and fighting infront of customers bad equipments and ended up selling my seats to someone else since their computer froze if I could leave 0 stars I would. If your wanting to avoid uncomfortable situations regal cinima is the way to go

Good experience but seriously under staffed. Love the chairs, good atmosphere but Im likely to start going elsewhere because I dont like to support businesses that run on skeleton staff that shows contempt for the customer
