Its a great park for the kids. It just have a bad pest problem with wasps. I were playing with my kids and a wasp from out of nowhere stung my fingers. That sh*t hurts

Recently renovated basketball courts and the center was completley rebuilt. The playground has been redone and more benches and bbq grills added.

This is a great park, BUT could be way better if the people that use the park REMEMBER that if they misuse it, they wont have it to use Parks are like treasure. Theyre valuable; you can create great memories with each use; theyre in short supply, but in high demand; and they are very costly to be replaced.

Since no one else is I have decided to visit all the parks in my area and write quick reviews for those looking for a nice spot to play basketball...These courts barely got two stars from me. The rims are bad and the backboard on some are broken or chipped off, the area in general seems busted down and not maintained, the only way I would go back here to shoot hoops is if I was a short walk or bike ride away.

Alonzo park needs a new director and some up to date equipment.
