Great showgrounds. Have shown there for the past 7 years through 4-H and the rings are amazing rain or shine. Stalls are clay with wooden sides so I recommend bringing extra shavings. They provide some but run a bit thin for a weekend show. Everything is within easy walking and riding distance. They do have a concession stand that is spacious with AC but could use improvement food wise. Good bathrooms, but can get a bit hot in the summer. Very fun place to ride!

If you have horses, there is a local riding trail here with some access to local woods and small lakes. You can also access the large section of the West Orange Trail here for biking, running, etc. The trail runs from Apopka all the way to Lake Mineola.

One of the finest horse parks around. Nice staff members always helpful. Dandy, quiet campground that we really enjoy and 4 equine arenas with both clay and cloth surfaces. Always groomed. Nice barns, well equipped with electricity, lighting, water, bath stalls.Its the bomb! I failed to mention reasonably priced as well!

Campers beware! The gate code is not for the actual gate! it is for the multiple tumbler locks they have on the gate itself at night! Bring a flashlight and hope you dont get kidnapped while trying to open 3 tumbler locks at night. Dont expect much.I am a full time RVer and payed to stay two nights but only got one. On this rare occasion i left my RV and drove in town for a weekend event and choose to tent camp as the weather was going ro be nice. First night was fine, we went to bed early. Next day I notice little things. Our water wasnt working. I got some from the empty space next to us. The shower house shower curtains are actual just curtains. So cheap here they wont even use real shower curtains. Soaked my shoes.Then came the kicker. I got back at almost 10 the secound night and both gates were locked with a chain. i had a gate code and went back to the one with a key pad. nope. i got out of the car and went to look at the locks. nope.I went back to the main gate to make sure i hadnt misunderstood something. i had a gate code to some gate. but nope. i called the after hours/in case of emergencies number. it went to voice mail. i got out of the car to look at the locks. it was locked inside and damn near impossible to bring the 3 locks out side to see if maybe this was a tumbler lock. it was so dark and this road is an isolated place. i started to panic and left. we had to drive back to the event and slept in our car. i got up early to head back to pack our camp up and went to the office. the lady was very smug and didnt give a damn about us having to spend the night in the car. the locks were tumbler locks so camper beware if u try this place. they will not say a word about multiple tumbler locks you have to do in the dark late at night if you want to get back to your camp. you have a gate code but that is not to the key pad that you think it would be. unless you are an RVer or a horsemen they dont give a damn about you.Bill Franklin Park at Turkey Lake is more affordable and has keypad locks with codes that work, nice playground, and security actually answers the phn after hours.

We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. The front gate is locked at night, so only the people that know the code can get in. Bathrooms are only by code access. Secure place. Nice clean, quiet area at a very reasonable cost.

It was fine. Not sure why the concession stand isnt open during a horse show, though.

Great parking in the shade for West Orange Trail connection. If you like horses, theres are events here and there is camping on site as well.

This is a great place to camp and you get to watch all the competitions on the weekends. The entire staff will help you anyway they can ,just make sure that you let them know if you need help. This is one of our favorite places to go.

Its really nice its peaceful its quiet I love it to death the horses are beautiful its just very peaceful if theyre very friendly here restroom are clean everybody keeps to themselves I love this place and I would recommend it and yes I would come back

Love this place. The people were so nice, the show ran smoothly, very organized, and the place was very clean and well manicured! Not to mention the food is pretty good at the concessions for a reasonable price. We will definitely go back!!

I was there working the polls for the election with some Shriners. It is a very nice place.

Had a very bad experience working here. Was working jump crew for the horse shows the bosses name was Eric and the person that was running the show her name was Wendy for some reason Eric thought he could physically assault some one and they would not get up set my brother was also working there with me as well and he got verbally abusive with Eric as well as i because by no means will i be treated less than a person because you think im some poor person, i do the show because its easy money for minimal work but to be treated in such a way is a shame!!!

Beautiful equestrian rv park

As touring cyclists, we really like Clarcona Horsemans Park. We regurly use the trailhead for bike training rides and have used the campground for our shakedown trip. The trailhead has running water and parking but you need to go to the horse areas if you need restrooms. But they are available and clean.One warning is that there always seems to be mosquitoes hanging around the water fountain so you probably dont want to hang out there too long.The campground is great for RVs or tents. Sites are well spaced and shady and it usually isnt very crowded. Restroom facilities are clean. A bit of a ride to any stores or restaurants and the h[rse activities can start up very early.
