Awesome playground! Several picnic tables available under a shelter right off the playground. Restrooms are right there too, and were clean. This was our first time here and will definitely go again. Wish there were a nature trail.

Well designed colorful park . My daughter’s favorite park.

Kelly Road Park is a great play place for kids young and old. Cool fort like structures cover the playground and they are easy for both young and older climbers to navigate. There are two nice picnic pavilions and a basketball court. There is also a paved path around the enclosed playground which is great for smaller children on bikes and scooters. Lots of parking, easily accessible restrooms and it has a great stretch of Greenway as well! Only downside is the playground has direct sun most of the day in the summer.

This is a fun playground for both young and big kids. There are so many fun areas to play and the castle theme makes it more interesting. There are swings, slides, the thing that kid could hop on and spin. There is also a restroom and water fountain next to the play area. Other than the playground, the park also has a green way, basketball hoop and baseball field.

I always am looking for a new greenway to walk on. Well this one matched every one of my needs. Length, it isnt super long about 2.1 miles one way. Beauty, this place has some real pretty spots to it. I walked the entire length of the path and it look me almost 30 mins one way. So if you are looking for a pretty spot to get away this is the place to go!

After lunch, brought kids to the kids town to enjoy The sunshine. All structures are wood, various play sets, castle like play buildings, where they running around like crazy doing their kids stuff. The amount lay ground is designed to 2-5 years, but a little bigger kids should be able to find lots of fun here too.

Kelly Park was a fun stop for both my kids(1 and6) an large enough to handle a decent amount of people...

We love this wood playground and love that it has been painted. Swing area is under construction but blocked off by an orange construction fence.Little kid section and bigger kid section.They also added a tree shaped spider web rope climb.Shade was hard to find for adults but there are shelters with picnic tables.Bathrooms, soda machine.

This park is a great place to bring children to let them run around and play. I like that there are many areas to help children imagine, discover and exercise. Its also not a bad place as an adult to enjoy the outdoors, walk a trail, or just sit and be still.

An absolutely amazing park that is really huge to take your kids to go play and have fun! If I didnt know any better I lost a few pounds while I was there! Never thought they can make places like this so huge for the kids to enjoy and have absolute fun! Will definitely be stopping by again to bring the kids to play!

It is CLOSED for quarantine despite saying its open on here. Looked really nice from the fence though.

I love Kelly Rd Park! It is our kids’ (6, 3.5) favorite park in the area.A note to moms/dads with young kids... this is a castle/fort park and it is easy to loose your kids within all the walls. I suggest teaming up with other friends to tag team and dressing your Little’s in bright clothes so they are easy to spot.s

Great playground. Tons of active play for all kinds of kids, and some handicap accessible play equipment as well. Awesome place to have a birthday party under the picnic shelter, and there is also a walking trail.

This is one of our favorite parks to visit. Theres so many different options for children of all different ages. I take my 9, 7, and 4 year old there and they all have a great time. I would like to see an update on the restrooms. Maybe some better lighting and easier toilet paper dispensers. They dont roll so the little ones have a had time getting enough paper to clean themselves properly. Also theres no mirrors. But the play area its self is great.

It’s very good park. It has 5 kids tennis courts, 1 normal, nice and big play area, basketball and baseball. Kids play area mostly made of wooden. Place to sit when kids are playing Or can walk around . It is designed to cover most of the things in small area. Well done.

The playground is closed due to COVID but the picnic tables are open!

Great park with lots of space for kids of all ages, including s huge above ground fort! Parking lot was a little busy so take care with the young ones!

Its a great place for the kids to have fun, just make sure they watch their heads, its got bathrooms and a shelter with a grill.

Great park for big kids and toddlers alike. The swings and open sandbox area are nice, along with the extremely soft walking surfaces. Just wish there was more to do in the toddler area.

My two boys and I have always enjoyed this park but the recent updates have made it even better! Lots of swings are available. The wooden structures are great for pretend play, hide and seek, or tag if its not too crowded. There are bathrooms and water fountains available and even a soda machine with sports drinks. The whole playground is fenced with just a few exit points making it easier to keep track of everyone. Lots of picnic tables too.

My son told me about Castle Park and went for the first time this afternoon with my 3&6 yr old. So much fun. Great, bright colors. Love the train and pirate ship.

Great playarea for kids - has a designated area for toddlers as well. Pack a picnic bag/basket so you can stay longer.

Kids friendly park. Spacious and with good picnic shelters. Best part is it is opened till 10 PM in summers.

I love that they painted the wood since there were so many issues with splinters! Still a favorite of ours and worth the drive.

My top 3 favorite park to go to. Wish the toddler side had a little more to offer and more shade. Besides that, it’s pretty awesome.

Kid friendly playground and nice walking trails. All the slides are in full sun and stay hot so hard for those to be used.Under construction so curious as to what is on the agenda. Easy access, some shade, and a variety of options including a small ballfield.

I go to this park about once a week, sometimes more. Its a great place to access the Beaver Creek greenway. The park has baseball fields, tennis courts, a pickleball court, a large playground and bathrooms that are open during park hours. The only bad thing about the park itself is the parking lot. If you go on the weekends there arent enough spaces and the arrows on the pavement are so faded people go the wrong way and just sit in the lanes blocking others.

Even the cold does not stop the neighbors from visiting this park! is very pretty

There is a wooden playground that my kids love. There is an area for younger kids, which is great, especially on more busy days. My favorite part of the the park is the Greenway. We can walk from my house to the park. You can also walk/run/bike from Kelly Road park up to the little community park/ fields between Apex BBQ Rd and 55. Its great.

We love Kelly Road Park, easy access to greenway so we can bike, lots of chairs and tables to have picnics, it was just upgraded so the wood has been painted, surfacing has been upgraded.

The playground is freshly painted. It is a wood playground. However there is construction in the swings area so there are currently no big kid swings.

My kids love going to this park. Its very clean and I love how it has age appropriate sides to the playground.

Well maintained park, nice playground area although there was some construction on the fences. Playground is separated into two sections for different ages. Would recommend visiting.

Love the wooden playground! I was so excited when I realized there was a wooden playground so close by. I had fun on these types of playgrounds as a kid and Im so happy my son can experience one. This is a park we will be going to often.

Fun park for everyone.

Seems like a great park for young families, but I am not in that boat. It is at one end of the current Beaver Creek Greenway. I typically just walk through this park and the main thing I get out of it is the use of the restroom. If the park is closed, the restroom is closed, even though the Greenway may be open.

Nice park for young to 10 year olds. Castle type structure to explore and play in. Limited exersize and play equipment, and a few swings. Freshly painted. Benches in the shade for adults, and bathrooms adjoining. Paved walking trail around the play area.

Ive been here reduce abs both times were for a birthday party for a friends child. Both times I never worried about anything. Great place and great surrounding area.

Nice kids park, my son loved it. You can also have a picnic there on the covered area, there are bathrooms, you can bike, play sports on the fields.

One of the best playgrounds in the southern wake area. It looks like a giant castle and has lots of things for kids to play on or in. There are two covered shelters with a bathroom and picnic tables. There is also a walking path that goes around the playground should you want to take a stroll while the kids play.

A great place to let the wiggles out!

This is a great, unique park with so many things for kids to do! It can be a bit overwhelming if you have multiple kids running in different directions as there are so many structures for them to get into, but they love it and have a blast!
