This place is so nice with much much to do. There’s a $6 entrance fee. The park is so big, there are boat rentals, lots of pavilions for picnics. Long trails for hiking, lots of benches and playground for kids. There are beautiful views of south river and the creek. So calming!

Awesome place, has pavilions you can rent with double sided grills in the pavilions for rain or shine entertainment. There are grills on the outside of the pavilion and plenty of playground areas for children and theres also a dog park. Plenty of open fields too. Bring your hiking shoes too.... Awesome trails that are pretty level and the ones I was on was paved.

Very clean and spacious park, a perfect place for families especially during this pandemic. Every visitors were maintaining social distancing, along with masks. The $6 entry fees seemed more, but after spending time at the park, it was all forgotten. Our family had a good time in this park, well maintained and lots of places, surrounded with trees to walk around and enjoy!

Theres a huge number of things to do here, but I know the dog park best. Its huge, has two large enclosed areas, fresh water, benches, shade, and even toys. A tired dog is a happy dog, and I havent found a better way to exhaust my pup than for her to chase and wrestle and play with a mini-pack of other dogs. Make sure you take a look at the rules when you come, but have fun!

This place is great! The park has wonderful walking trails and lovely views of Harness Creek and the South River. The boat rental facility is fantastic! Kayaks, paddle boards, canoes and peddle boats are available on the creek. The rates are reasonable and the staff are great. Take a peaceful moment and give the park a try!

This was the #1 park I wanted to visit on our trip to Annapolis. We got here much later than we wanted and only had about 25 minutes before the park closed (8:30pm on a Wednesday in August, closes at dusk) so we just drive around for 15 minutes or so and I got some pictures. We did not have to pay to enter/for parking since the gatehouse was closed. Usually it is $6 to enter the park. This park has some beautiful views and great opportunity for photos. It has several hiking trails, picnic areas, dog park, dog beach, boat launch, boat rental, streams, ponds, compost area, playgrounds, a ton of parking, pavilions, a visitor center/gardens/blue heron center, gazebo, 3 separate restrooms, etc. The park is very clean. We saw some people walking and running at night. The best part about this park is all the deer we saw! We saw over 40 deer (bucks, does, and fawn) randomly driving through the park. I love animals so this was a treat. We would have loved to get here early and walk around. If we are back in Annapolis again in the future, we will spend more time here.

Great park! First time Ive ever been and the trails were great. The dog beach was amazing! So many dogs and owners there, and my girl had a blast. She actually normally hates the water, but went so far out she had to swim there. The park is well maintained, the staff is friendly, and, again, the dog beach is the best thing ever!!!!

Fantastic customer service at the cash register. Very informative and helpful. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends so get there early. The price is a bit high imo, but I suppose its location. There are lots of boats, yachts, and jellyfish in the water! Be careful. Besides that, great equipment... the SUP were steady, firm, and easy to use.

Very nice place! For our first time there!Plenty of paved walking and minimal hiking! (That we found or should I didnt find.)They do have what they call an exercise trail that is supposed to go around the very outskirts of the property! ( Be careful we ended up down a couple of what I would call a cul-de-sac trail!)Once we finally found it! Which was somewhat confusing! We were able to follow it for the most part, but ended up lost a couple of times trying to get back where we started! This is not what we are used to! Most of trails we hike whether natural or paved, usually are marked pretty well, with blazes, arrows etc. Thats why I gave only 4 s!They did have maps posted to assist in finding your way, but honestly they get a little confusing.I will say though once we got to certain parts of the trail that was close to the water, or lake. There were little stop offs with benches, and some with picnic tables! Did have some beautiful views throughout! They do have a doggy park, the also have plenty of parking throughout! We did see basketball court and tennis court I think.. small kids climbing park! They have different types of boat rentals too! I still would definitely recommend this place though!

I was looking for a nice place to take my dogs. There was construction at the time, plus not everything was open due to winter hours. I paid a fee through the machine. No humans were working. There weren’t any lifeguards either. I did not find dog park or trails listed, again a lot of construction is probably the reason. I did find this empty part of the beach. The dogs loved it. Very neat and clean. Trash cans in parking lot for waste. Restrooms were open. This was during the week and construction workers were there. Maybe not open on weekends when no one is there.

Went here on a whim to get some fresh air while in Annapolis. My partner and I grabbed some vittles and headed to the park. We were able to find a quiet out of the way picnic table and eat. Then we drove down towards the dog beach. I put it in quotes because, while it was a dog beach, it had all kinds and groups of people walking around. All in all, Quiet Waters lived up to its name that day. Most people were good about social distancing as well.

I visited Quiet Waters Park with a friend yesterday and had a nice time. According to her fitness app we walked exactly 5 miles along the multiple trails they have available. The park is lovely with many pavillions for larger get togethers, a visitor center, amphitheater, gazebo over looking a turtle pond and fountain, a dog park, dog beach, playground and lots of just grassy open spaces for lounging. The park is VERY well maintained and clean. Aside from the trails and Composting Demostration Area, there are not a lot of attractions there, so be prepared to entertain yourself. It was fairly crowded, surprisingly so in fact despite the fact that it was a Saturday with cloudy but very comfortable weather, so parking was tight. There were at least 3 limousines there servicing at least one wedding, so that may be why. The entry fees are per vehicle and reasonable with varying rates for seniors and veterans. Check the website for current fees. My only complaint was 1 mile of the 5 we walked was spent on a trail near the end of the loop at the Composting Site. It turns out that despite the red blazes on the trees, it is not an official park trail and we had walked 1/2 mile down it when we encountered a couple that told us it went on for quite some time and terminated in a residential area. A sign stating that, or a map at that trailhead would have been helpful. Otherwise, GO! Pack up the family and the dogs and and spend a few hours at least walking around, picnicing, playing, communing with the abundant nature there, whatever you want to do. Its a nice place to do it,and kudos to the people that work so hard to maintain it so well!

Park is open dusk to Dawn. Always park rangers driving around maintaining the facilities. If you stay on the paved path, you get roughly ~5.5 miles if youre interested in running it. And you get roughly ~3 miles on the blazed trails that run through the woods. Most all of the trails are shaded to make running/cycling a little more tolerable on those hot summer days! They have a dog park, as well as a little beach for the dogs to get into the water!

So this is a very big park. 340 acres just outside Annapolis Md. It has 6 miles of trails. It has many pavilions and parking. It has a water pond Im told you can ice skate on in the winter. It also borders the south river so you can rent from a 3rd party kayaks and canoes and paddle boards. It has many exersise areas and this is a very pet friendly park as well. Now I have heard in the past that this park has had some crime issues. So best saftey practices should be employed. There are security and staff all around and I have seen police there as well and I didnt feel unsafe.

$6 per car to come in. Very nice park and trails. Was looking for beach around the area and it says there is one here but its a doggy beach and no swimming allowed, a little bit disappointed but we found a really nice place to sit and have a little picnic. A really nice park ranger was walking around and stopped by and told us about a hidden path that you can brave in. Turn right(not the path going to the doggy beach) and keep going straight, theres some rocks and just keep trekking across. You can picnic there but no swimming also and cant fish there. Either way, an enjoyable place
