This was a delightful trail! Woodsy with lots of hills, valleys and streams. I loved the all the holly trees because it made the forest green in the winter. We did a two mile loop. It looks like there are also tons of trails connecting this.

This is a great trail for new bikers or hikers. There are three phases with different aspects within each one. Ive only been 2 times but look forward to going more in the future.

Great local hike. Easy enough for kids but still feels like a good walk. Watch for mountain bikers on the trail. We used a get left call so bikers could pass and everything was fine. Cant wait to go again.

Great trails for new and experienced riders alike. Phase 3 is more challenging than phases 1 and 2 so be prepared.

Great XC trails fun and Texy. Also has cool trees and roots. If u are into so sketch Dh here at bacon there is something called the spin super hard and texy.

Fun mountain bike trails. They drain fast so they are usually better than other nearby options after rain.

Great Mountain Biking trail! Its about a 5 mile loop. I went on a nice dry day and the hard packed dirt trails were fast! Easy to Moderate difficulty with a few uphill climbs. There are 6 parking spots in a gravel parking lot, when they are full people park on the side of the road.

Well maintained and scenic trails, lots of fun to bike! Some climbs and roots, mostly hard packed single track. Porta potty at the trail head.

I really enjoy this trail system. Its not too large to really get lost. The trails are more flowy and curvy with some decent jumps along the trails if you choose to do them. This is typically my spot for a quick ride after work.

This trail system just keeps on growing and improving, kudos to the people who work hard to maintain it. Just one word of caution, dont leave valuables in your cars, there are some folks who recognize that cars are going to be unattended for a couple of hours.....

Too many mountain bikers. Have to step to the side every other minute. Rolling hills.

Lots of coverage so it is a good option in the summer months. There are a variety of options in trails and the lengths of trails but signage is not the best so it can get confusing. If you are walking, stay alert for bicyclists.

We hike here with our dog. The footing is lovely packed dirt path through beautiful, old forest. It is also open to mountain biking, and 90 percent of riders are safe, but some are dangerously fast, even around blind corners. Many hikers walk dogs without leashes, but it hasnt caused too much difficulty. Good elevation changes, not a level path. Parking is tight but on a minimally busy road.

I went out for a 5 mile hike with the border collie today. Amazingly there is no standing water anywhere, but lots of bike ruts and semi solid mud. My ankles are sore from walking on a very uneven surface, but the dog came out pretty clean, so the trail seems to be holding up well with all the freeze/ thaw weather.

Favorite mountain bike spot in the area. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, and there are a bit of options now that phase two is done. It dries incredibly fast. Like most trails, they are difficult to speed; A beginner can go and at a slow speed, be just fine. If youre more advanced and gunning it, it can be fun as well.

Easy non-strenuous hike.

It was a little wet but super smooth riding. Becarful of incoming traffic theres multiple trails and theres no one direction.

Good mtb trails, exciting if you want, low and slow if sloppy, nice trailset, 3 loops, some jumps, not much technical, just solid singletrack.

Great paths through otherwise hilly treacherous terrain of fairly prisine natural area protected by the Scenic Rivers Land Trust with deep ravines leading to Bacon Ridge Branch headwater tributary of South River.

Maybe 10 off-street parking spaces plus plenty of shoulder parking available. One portapotty is in place. Designed primarily for mountain biking but plenty of walkers and joggers venture out too. Wear bright colors during hunting season as there is no physical separation of hunters and other users.

Locals getting together to help Family Bike Shop and other advocates to volunteer their time and efforts to initiate phase 3 of a project to take these trails to close to 20 miles. Amazing and admirable.

You’ll find happy trail runners and mountain bikers and hikers. The top of the figure eight loop has beautiful forest stillness and a nice hill to chug up.

This trail is a lifesaver. There was nothing available for local mountain bikers within half an hour of Annapolis until the heroes at Trailwerks and Family Bike Shop took the initiative to build this. Its not huge, its not technical, but its close and its fun. And its expanding!
