Great place, many options to choose from. I went just me and my daughter to ride a paddle boat and we had to wait 15 minutes. They only have 2, so I would recommend trying out the paddle boat if you think you would enjoy that as well. They have different kinds of kayaks as well, sit in and sit out. There is a small trail to get to the main waters and the hut. They sell water and popcicles there, so no stress with staying hydrated.

Get there early! That said, guy running it is super nice and accommodating, truly personalized service. Highly recommend!

Location on Google is completely wrong. Took 45 minutes of calling, jumping between Waze (also inaccurate location) and Yelp to finally get the address.

A great way to spend an hour or two on the water at a reasonable price. Ive rented paddleboards in. August 2018 and again in August 2019 when visiting family. They had great boards and the location is perfect for beginners too.

The dock and the nearby overlook provide excellent views of South River and the waterfowl in the area. You can rent a canoe or paddle boat to explore the area.

Nice! We rented a 2 person kayak for 1 hour, 20 bucks. Paddling around Harness Creek, South River and even can see the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Awesome.

They do a good job with their customer service and they have a variety of options you can choose from to rent. We rented the row boat, and they got us on the row boat a few minutes after we paid for the rental. The process was easy and the experience was fun.

Great quality and variety of rentals including crew boats and paddle boards. Folk there were very helpful. All in all a fun relaxing time.

Nice place to rent kayaks. Harness creek is very pretty and calm. South river also nice for longer paddles.

Definitely pricey, but the staff is always friendly and the equipment is always in very good shape.
