Amazing winery. I go to wineries often and Great Frogs holds up there as one of the best in the DMV. Great hospitality, great wine, and they are one of the rare wines that allow you to explore the vineyards. Would absolutely recommend to come here if you enjoy wine

Visited Great Frogs while I was visiting Annapolis, it’s about 10 minutes from the town center via car. Went to taste their wines, but was told we weren’t allowed to do a tasting as it’s by reservation only and they were fully booked. This is somewhat unusual for a winery (or brewery) as more times than not they offer flights for you to purchase and sample their offerings right from the source before committing to a full bottle or glass.I was disappointed with my experience. I wasn’t able to see any wine making facilities on site besides the vines which seem quite young to produce grapes, if you’re interested in learning how wine is made I’d give this one a miss as all you’re allowed access to is a bar. We were told they have another facility on the eastern shore which is probably where the actual wine is made.

Been wine club members for almost a year and a half. The club is great. No membership fees, 4, 6, or 12 wines a quarter. Free release parties with tastings, food and music. Couldnt ask for much more. The wines are excellent. Very flavor forward. A good variety of dry and sweet wines. A little something for everyone. Finally to the staff. They are awesome. Worked with Ben and Kelly most of the time and they will do anything and everything to make sure you have a good time. Im pretty sure we will be wine club members for life at this rate. I would highly recommend this place and would give it more that 5 stars if possible. Dog friendly if you are wondering.

My wife and I were up from Florida celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary and one of our stops was Great Frogs Winery for a wine tasting. When you first drive up to the winery youre greeted with actual vineyards, which may sound obvious but weve been to wine tastings with no vineyards in sight. The setting was quaint and romantic, a place where the locals seem to hang out and enjoy some great wine. As we were seated, we are served a mini palette cleansing charcuterie board and a basket with 6 different wines for the tasting. Ben (the brother of the owner of Great Frogs) then came over and started us on our adventure in wine tasting. His unique descriptions of each of the wines, food pairing, and the overall conversation were the most memorable. Since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary they sent us off with a special gift! Thank you for the great memory, we hope to be back one day.

Greeted as we entered and we were seated.Ben was friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the wines they served us.A little pricey but good.

We were traveling from Colorado and had the BEST experience. It was nice to learn about new wines. Everyone was incredibly sweet and Kelly was very outgoing! Wines were very delicious and our favorites were the two we can’t pronounce (Powatinika and the Blaufrankisch) lol Great time!

So make sure you make a reservation. We did not so we couldnt do the tasting but the hostess was very sweet and tried her best to accommodate...but to no avail. We ended up grabbing a glass and cuddling under blankets (provided by then) in the cigar barn. Great place.will go back with a reservation

Held my sons 40th Birthday Party at this vineyard. The owners were incredibly helpful in the preparations and planning stages. Found musicians for us. Staff were on hand lending assistance at every turn throughout the eventSpectacular Event! Perfect Atmosphere!Thanks again for the perfect memory.

Great frogs winery is really quaint and small. They are located in Annapolis which is a unexpected place for a winery. The setup and seating are exclusive as we went for a going away party and they require payment upfront for everyone that will be doing the wine tasting.Im no wine expert but it tasted pleasant and easy on the palate. They provide live music, a tented area, and clean enviroment. The wine is expensive as any other winery but they gave us each a bottle at the end for spending a good amount and allowed us to take a glass

A must-do in Annapolis if you like wineBeautiful vineyard on land that used to be an old tobacco farm. Its a hidden treasure, literally. The property is well off the beaten path for visitors to Annapolis who usually stick to the Naval Academy and historic area. Great Frogs is roughly 10-15 minutes away through a wooded area and near a water outlet, one of many that youll find in the Annapolis area. The tastings and wine shop are in the restored tobacco barn surrounded by rows of great vines. The lab where the wine is made and stored is just next door. The parking is rustic. Youll park on grass, feeling much like youre heading to a picnic. Fittingly, there are picnic tables near the vines to accommodate visitors for their outdoor events. Overall, the property is picturesque and and fun to visit. Bring your camera, theres always an opportunity to take a photo of their signature pick up trucks or another photogenic spot on the land. Delicious wine & lovely people! A must-visit in the Annapolis area ... stop by for a tasting before dinner in downtown, OR attend one of Great Frogs many fantastic events!I visited Great Frogs winery during one of their summer Date Night Series events. Before dinner we enjoyed a tasting of several Great Frogs wines. Dinner was served by Well Crafted Pizza -- each selection carefully paired with a Great Frogs wine. The property is lovely -- rustic elegance describes it perfectly! Walk among the vines, visit the Tobacco Barn, and enjoy some delicious Eastern shore wine!

Great local place right here in Annapolis. Variety of offered wines is impressive as is their quality. Fun, quiet place to relax with some wine and friends. Atmosphere definitely adds to the experience. Wine club membership definitely recommended with the perks and also feeling part of the establishment. Wont be disappointed.

There were 3 of us for a tasting that included a cheese & chacuterie board. The ambience was great, but it was outrageously expensive for what was received. $60/person for a splash of each wine and a board that had savories. Ben was the person that was supposed to be with us to go over the wines, what cheeses, meats, fruits and nuts should go with which wine. Ben was delightful but kept being pulled away. What we received may have been more reasonable at $20 each, but certainly the $60/person was truly outrageous for very little of everything including Ben. We could have had a nice dinner for $60 each including a nice glass of wine.

Great Frogs is an amazing local Winery in Annapolis. They produce award winning wines that are just a joy to taste. I highly recommend trying them out. They have an online store and sell locally at many of the farmers markets around Annapolis. I originally found them last winter at the Annapolis Mall farmers market (Sundays) and have been a customer ever since. Highly Recommend.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We made a reservation and weren’t greeted for 20 minutes. Multiple employees walked passed us, multiple customers stared at us, but nobody said anything. When we were finally greeted, we waited another 30 minutes before we were spoken to again. I understand you get busy, but a “hi, how are you? We will be with you in a minute” Would have sufficed. The price was outrageous for the awful service we experienced.

CUTEST place ever!!!!! Amazing service, atmosphere is awesome. Recommend!! Went with just my boyfriend and we had a blast.... live music, corn hole outside. RECOMMEND TIMES A MILLION!!!!! We are now wine club members. Best winery in Maryland. Very rustic and modern. I cannot say enough about it. LOVE IT!!

Really enjoyed Date Night at Great Frogs Winery. The winery is beautiful. Love the ambience of drinking wine and eating pizza in the barn. Wine pairing 3 and pizza Three courses plus dessert wine and pizza. So much fun!

Had an amazing time this past weekend with hubby. The scenery was TRULY amazing!!!! I highly recommend this spot if you want to have a romantic spot to get away for the day!! Cant wait to go back!

The once a week thing is bogus. I can never get a chance to enjoy my wine club. Cancelling and will stick with Coopers wine club and day trips to Leesburg.

Cant believe a place like this exists in Annapolis. Everyone who works here is so knowledgeable and passionate. Amazing scenery and cool buildings, cant wait to go back.

Not about the wine at all...had a wine bottle dropped by aPour-ER at Maryland Wine Festival splash all over my white dress with no Im sorry or oh no that sucks or anything. Kind of put a bad taste in my mouth about the place in general

Small town, super friendly. Really into dogs and wine. If you are in Annapolis, head out of town on Spa Creek Rd. and relax with a glass and friendly staff.

Terrible. I called to ask if they were open and they said yes. Drove 45 minutes here only to find out by tastings are by appointment only. The person on the phone could have told me that before I wasted all that gas.
