We came to Annapolis from Baltimore to sightsee and have a date night. Susan Campbell Park is located in the heart of Annapolis. We went to one of the restaurants and then walked to the docks and on Main Street to checkout some stores. The park/city docks have benches to sit on. There are newspaper machines too. Cobblestone walkway creates part of the historic feel but beware you can trip easily since it is not flat/even and some of them are coming up. There are bathrooms and showers for boaters nearby. They have parking but it can be a bit tight – some of it is free while others are metered. We hung out a while just looking at the water and people-watching. Great area for people watching if you are into that. We did not partake in getting the famous ice cream nearby (Storm Brothers) since we were still full from dinner but it is a popular place. The Naval Academy is nearby as well if you want to visit that but check the times. It is very beautiful at the docks/park. Main Street has a ton of different restaurants, dessert/ice cream shops, services like real estate, shopping such as spices, clothing, books, Maryland souvenirs, beach themed items, gifts, and specialty shops. I would definitely recommend going to the park/city dock and main street. It is great if you are by yourself, with friends or family, or a date night.

A little slice of tranquility, early morning sunrises, sunsets or anytime in-between. Spa Creek, Ego Alley, Naval Academy and East Port, views abound.

Absolute perfect place to watch the sunrise. Youll often see students from St. Johns, people in photo clubs, and other photographers. Myself included. I wouldnt suggest taking food if you want peace though. Plenty of the local DTA ducks will aggressively approach you for a bite or two, or everything you have! Literally theres no ducking them within that twenty five yard perimeter. Id stick to coffee or tea.You can see from time to time; boats docked from all over the world. Including New Zealand. Not often are there people passed out, whether homeless, or just sleeping off the excessive drinking. All depending on when you visit, you might be fortunate enough to catch members of our local Naval Academy as theyre initiated.Keep your eyes peeled for huge blue heron that often hang out around the docks before sun breaks. Lighting is good and theres usually joggers passing through, or crabbers on the opposite side of the docks chicken necking and occasionally that cute couple experiencing their first or one of many Annapolis City sunrises... Its certainly a must do if youre in town.

Beautiful place to rest and view the different boats and yachts after spending time walking and shopping on main street. If you want a fun boat tour, Watermark Tours operates right off this park also. Gets kind of busy with school field trips and tourists though.

Great family event. Thank you Chesapeake Family Life who partner with Art in Public Places Commission Annapolis, the Annapolis Police Department, and Annapolis Elementary PTA to bring this free movie, popcorn, and refreshments.

Not exactly a park but a gorgeous view of the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay situated in the heart of Annapolis! Grab a ride with Watermark on Cabaret (I or II) or the Harbor Queen! Cover your ears when they come or go!

A nice place to stroll, sit, rest, look at the water, the boats. Usually not too crowded.A good place to meet others in your party.Parking is, as it is anywhere in downtown Annapolis, difficult and hit-or-miss. But if you can snag a spot nearby, this little spot can become your base of operations from which you can visit shops, places to dine, or grab a quick bite or beverage.

Nice boardwalk with pleasant shopping nearby. There are no trees and no grass, so the use of Park in the name is confusing. The public restrooms are very well maintained here.

Pride to say I was the Project Manager for F&F Landscaping who installed the landscape plantings here in 2008. There is a lot of structure under the brick paving.
