Very easy hiking (walking). Woods are quite beautiful with a wonder view of a pond with a picnic table and bench. Trails are very wide and may be handicap accessible.

Nice wide trail to hike with kids. A few spots with an elevation but an easy hike in general. The journey’s end trail takes you to Foster’s pond. The views are very nice. There is a bench to sit and enjoy the views and spend some time.

Great hiking trails with a lovely pond, including islands with boardwalks. Wildlife includes beavers. Trails are mostly easy, with only a few hills here and there.

A hidden gem. Nice walk in the woods, and goes for several miles! But all so close to Andover - 10 min drive from home....

Beautiful trails in all 4 seasons. Lots of wonderful dogs as well. Parking lot is small and keeps the area comfortable.

I love this place because its near my house and its a great, relatively flat, manageable hike. Perfect for a mini-adventure with the pupper (or, if you have two legged children with energy and no strollers). In winter, the trail is pretty icy so just be prepared! Yaktrax are a good idea. But the hike is worth it when you get to Bessies Point overlooking Fosters Pond. A good place to read a book, do yoga, or have a nice lunch. (Take your trash, etc. With you - no trash cans along the route)Such a beautiful part of our neighborhood and well kept by AVIS.

Great trail system. I believe you can walk 3 miles from st 28 in Andover, to Andover Street in Wilmington. Beautiful along the pond. Fosters pond is a hidden gem and these trails are probably the best way to really appreciate this large body of water, unless you are in a boat.

Nice wide trails, well marked with several smaller trails branching off, some are fairly vertical. Well maintained including sturdy rest stops with benches or tables. Great place to take the doggy on leash. A little buggy but only a minor nuisance.

My wife and I got involved in joining a Monday morning walking group in the late spring. We met some great people who like us enjoy the peace and serenity of a quiet woods walk. And the beauty and cleanliness of Goldsmith Woodlands is the premier place to do this.....
