A wonderful combination of open grassy spaces and trails through the woods. Lots of options for families - distances ranging from 1/2 mile to several miles. The maps the town provides arent particularly helpful, so be open to experimenting with different routes.
Ive been going to this place since I was 4. Good fishing for little kids (at least it use to be, cant say if theres any bass left in there). Great trail for small hikes, cross country, and nature time with young ones. Dogs too. Ive run into an unusual amount of water snakes here so watch your step.
Cool trails... Very nice scenery. We went on the winter on a snowy day.
