Cute pond to walk around, no restrooms open because of C-19.

This is a very cute, well-kept little park right in the middle of Anderson. We very much appreciated the water and walking track that looped around the little pond. A very good spot for an quick outdoor jaunt or picnic lunch.

Its such a beautiful place. We just moved to Anderson a few month ago and since we found this place we are here almost everyday. We walk our dogs and have picnics here. Its great. ️

The weather was perfect and the leaves are starting to change. Such a beautiful day. What a blessing! Definitely an awesome place to walk!

Lovely lake, nice walking trail. Gazebo and picnic tables and benches to enjoy the space. Also includes an open lawn area and a playground.

I like going fishing there my son got me going there. I have caught 7 catfish in all. A few hours here and there different days, or evenings.

It is a wonderful Park for children, young people & seniors. I used to take my grandchildren there & now my great grandchildren!

Very peaceful...just behave yourself because there are multiple police stations surrounding the park

I really like this park. Today I decided to get out of the house for a bit, and I found Chris Taylor Memorial Park on Maps. It was just over a mile away from my house, so I figured Id stop by and check it out. To my surprise, it was so alive!!! There were a ton of ducks swimming around and honking; there were a lot of kids on the playground, filling the air with happy little shouts and laughter; there were couples old and young sitting and walking. I even saw a father-son duo fishing on the shore of the pond. Ill definitely come back very soon. I would love to see more flowers around the park.

Nice local park to take family portraits. You can walk along the trails, feed the ducks, and entertain the kids with the playground.

I dont like the new toys. The volcano was better. They cut up the perimeter fence, it was there for a reason. Pulled up most of the public grills. Restrooms stay in a constant state of decay. But then they tore up the parking lot to repave it!? Maybe I am missing the big picture. But the walking track is ok. Pretty hard to mess that one up.

Great park for children due to the amazing playground and ducks to feed. Very short 1 1/2 mile paved path around the pond for minimal walking.

Great fun for the little ones. Plenty of room and activities for the kids to stay engaged and a beautiful scenery with the lake and the animals ️

We are from out of town and were looking for a place to run. This was awesome! From the reviews and description I thought I would be running half-mile loops around the lake, but in reality I didnt touch even half of the trails. This park connects to an extensive complex with trails connected throughout. If we lived here Im sure we would be taking advantage of this park. All the playgrounds, playing fields, the amphitheater...to advantage of this place! My only suggestion would be to add signage showing where everything is.

Nice place to take the dogs for a walk and kids if ya got em. Plenty to see with the pond and athletic activities going on.

Its nice to go and feed the ducks, walk around the pond on the walking track. You also have pavilions, picnic tables and a spacious playground with musical amenities. The park is also part of the Anderson Sports complex, which boasts soccer, football and baseball fields. Plenty of parking. Also near the convention center.

Had a great with my grandson on playground and feeding the ducks and getting to see the horses so pretty

This is a nice park for children. Has a nice range of toys for different age groups. Also, has a pond where you can feed the ducks.

Even though they took out some cool things in the park it did need a good renovation. I love the way it looks now and my kids (3 and 9) absolutely love it too.

Only place in Anderson to take your pet for a nice undisturbed walk... Had to edit something February2019 ... all month the womens bathroom and mens did not get clean. It was and probably still is dangerously bad. Plenty of workers there and they need to take some bleach and a hose over there not just ride on mowers all day when the grass wasnt even growing and sitting in your baseball building doing God knows what. Have some pride in your job. You are allowing babies, little kids everyone to use that unsanitary mess near the playground while you use the locked ones at the baseball building. Most people would love to have that job but cleaning that is an important part of it even if it isnt your favorite. You change 90% empty trash cans daily and just skip the bathroom. How shameful. Its not like there arent 6+ guys at all times smoking cigarettes riding in their county property trucks. In a no smoking park. Have some stinking pride. Anderson parks and recreation is corrupt and ungrateful for their positions. Need an overhaul.
