Toy Story Midway Mania! is another place that Im luck to be able to be able to take my son to. I went to when I was a kid, and its just as magical today. Run by the City of Los Angels for most of its life, Toy Story Midway Mania! is now run by a dedicated non-profit organization. Theyre working through the park to update the experience. Membership is a great deal if youre going to go more than a couple of times a year.

Lines move quick, and the games are fun and challenging when you compete with a friend or family member! This is definitely not a ride to go solo on as you will be competing with the passenger next to you for the higher score!

My little toddler loves exploring this place. I had her 2nd birthday here and the catered food was meh. I would bring my own food instead. But the decoration, service, and cleanup was worth it.

This ride is amazing, one of the most addicting rides in the park! The ride queue can be up to an hour, so if you want to skip the queue, make sure to get a Fast Pass! The ride staff are very friendly and will help if you have any problem!

One of the greatest rides in either of the Disney parks. I could spend a day here trying to top my score.

This ride is just a blast. It is probably one of the most fun rides in all of Disneyland and California adventure! The best part about it is how interactive it is... you shoot targets and incredible special effects happen, you gain points, and you move from one challenge to the next, and then to the next! There are different stages full of different colours, characters, and concepts. Fantastic ride for families, friends, or couples. Definitely recommend, it is well worth the wait!

I really like this ride! It’s a ride that incorporates a shooting gallery and fairway games. You Use a pop gun to shoot balls at targets themed after the Toy Story movie. You’re in an arcade style setting and the ride vehicle spins around placing you in front of different screens. The entire ride to screen-based.

This is like the Buzz Lightyear Shooting game over at Tomorrowland, but way more cooler

Super fun ride. You actually have to do something and it is a lot of fun shooting at everything. I actually laughed and giggled my way through the entire ride. If you are prone to get sick on quick turning rides, this one may make you a little queasy.

Solid game like attraction. Very fun to play/ride every single time.The line is however just too darn long always.I wish they would offer a fast pass for this attraction.Line aside- great attraction.

Standby line is one of the more random because it’s so popular as a fastpass ride. But it’s worth the wait as long as you enjoy shooting things in 3D!

Fun for all ages! Various virtual 3D games with your favorite Toy Story characters where you earn points and try to score higher than your friend. (If your very competitive you can even try to beat the high score for that day, which is shown at the end.)

People really love this ride, I think its great but its not as unique or memorable as others in my mind. Also the queue is dreadful.

This ride is always packed! Now I know why. Its an interactive ride where you compete with your co-rider in a mini-cannon 3D videogame. Most Points wins! We absolutely love it. Amazed how we love to complete.

Fun for friends and family! This gaming, interactive experience is a must-do for anyone in California Adventure, but its especially fun with a partner or group. I constantly lost to my friend, Im terrible at these digital games (even as a teen), but the excitement and energy you feel from this ride is totally worth it!

I love a good competitive ride! This one is much more fun than Buzz Light-years ride as each little station is different!

I grew up as a Toy Story fan and this is by far my most favorite ride. You cannot miss it. The ride is in 4D and is enjoyable for those of all ages. The line can get long sometimes, but it moves in a good pace compared to most of the rides in this park. Make sure that you practice making fast movements with your hands before you go to the park to ensure that you get some high scores. This is simply my most favorite ride.

What makes this ride great is it brings back the old midway games I remember which i now can play with my kid.

Fun ride but the line is always super long. Last week we noticed they now have fast pass for the ride. I think it’s new. Get the fast pass instead of being stuck in line.

A must go to place for all Disney adventure visitors!!! The line for toy story mania ride may be long but it is worth the wait! The ride is super interactive and entertaining. Aside from that ride, there is a huge Ferrid Wheel, rollercoasters, and eateries around that area.

Toy story was my childhood and the first day when I went to Disneyland I was excited to see buzz light-year Astro blasters but also I was also amazed with this ride and I love it I’m going back on December so can’t wait to ride it again and again and if you guys haven’t seen Toy story 4 go check it out

When I was a little kid this ride kinda scared me due to the fast motion and the air blowing at your face and it being 3D but now as a teenager I love this ride! I love toy story and I love the theming of this ride. Every time my family goes to California Adventure this ride is a must go on.

AWESOME!!! My wife and I had a great time competing against each other and of course, I won. Hehe. The line is constantly full, so, get a Fast Pass early and enjoy the attraction.

This has become my 3year olds favorite ride. He is able to sit in the ride next to myself or Mommy and operate the trigger himself, so he loves it. Unlike Buzzs Astro Blasters on the Disneyland Park side, he has to sit on our lap to be able to see and shoot the targets for that. Still a great experience worth the wait. Also try out the moving buddy line if theyre still doing it. My son and I were able to get on the ride twice in 15min on Friday afternoon 12/21/2018. It was great!

This is a fun shootng gallery game based on Toy Story. It is one of my favorites. Use a Fast Pass.

Always fun! The ride broke down and they gave us special passes on our phones to come back when it was convenient to us, how nice.

Fun shooting game (despite me losing every round)

Fun game to take the kids and family to compete in, but it does make me a little dizzy for spinning back and forth so I can only do it a few times before I start to get sick, but it is a bunch of fun and I ride it every time I go.

Easily one of the best rides at California adventure, always love beating my family in the games.

This ride has always been super fun but the line was always so long. Now you can get a fast pass. We were on the ride in 5 minutes. Awesome!

Fun ride. Fun mini games. Even if you have unexpected delays on the ride you can still shoot targets for fun but no points. The wait is at least 30 minutes during the slow season in early to mid February.

Awesome and interactive! You feel as though you’re playing with your toys! Use the gun mounted on your ride to shoot all kinds of things from rubber tipped darts to balls and more to hit targets and get points.

One of the Disney movies I grew up on was Toy Story this attraction is an amazing compliment to my childhood! I love the interaction and the 4D feel that Disney has created for this ride! Another thing is the new Fastpass for this ride, it was well needed and Disney has done a great job!

Great ride, love it better than the buzz light year. Does get pretty crowded on certain days. I suggest getting a fast pass that has a 45min wait.

A delightful ride for young and old. A little jerky for those sensitive to that, with all the spinning your ride does, but a nice cannon shooting game for those with the video game itch to scratch. Fast pass just started for this ride about a month ago, and the attractiveness of this ride jumped. Its now about a 50 minute wait on average for this ride. Recent changes made Mr. Potato head is part of the Fast pass line now. Formerly part of the stand-by line. Hopefully it reverts back since the Fast Pass line doesnt usually extend that far back. But who knows...Once Fast Pass+ starts this summer, maybe it will.

Amazing ride to be on with your significant other, your best friend, or a family member. Its highly competitive and very well done. With MaxPass I was able to ride in less than 5 minutes!

This is our familys favorite ride, especially that now it has fast pass. Our son loves shooting rings and darts for points and comparing them to his mother and I. This ride we usually hit 4 or 5 times a trip.

Midway Mania ride vehicle Parks you in front of a series of screens while you aim and pull repeatedly on a pull string trigger. Kids will love breaking virtual plates or popping balloons, but not worth waiting in the long lines the ride typically draws. Best part is the animatronic Mr. Potato head out front, which you can see without a wait. Fast pass currently not available.

I was stuck on this for almost 45 minutes after waiting over an hour. It was maddening. So much wasted time. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD when these things happen turn off the music so we dont go insane. Thank you!!! :D

This ride is soooo fun! Not only do I love video games, but this one tops the cake! The only problem is that your arm gets tired trying to pull the string of your gun (no pun intended). The line is almost unbearable when CAs packed, but the ride is definitely worth it if you stick it out. No matter what age you are, you can challenge your friends to see who gets the highest score!

Fun spot for younger kids. Lots to do outside of the ride as well.

3D glasses, a miniature cannon, and getting to compete for a high score with your friends. Throw in the gang from Toy Story, and whats not to love. Start lifting weights before your trip so you can shoot faster with your ripped arms.
