Great local place to take the kids- they LOVE Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Centrally and conveniently located within the beautiful lake merrit. Parking is $5, but there is also metered parking around. The rides are cute, nothing fancy, but does its job to entertain the kids for a few hours.

Very iconic ride you have to ride it at least once in your life. They upgraded to line with a cover so at least you aren’t being torched by the sun. Be prepared for a very long wait but the little ones love it. I’m sure with the movie coming out the lines will get longer but work it into plans for the day.

Its a famous ride, but it is totally for the kids. The line is disproportionately long, but try telling your five year old she cant ride the Dumbo ride. Go early or late.

It was Awesome... Then All of a Sudden it started going Faster and Faster... We yelled Stop the Ride... But no one Answered... We Held onto My Sons With My Might and Say Walt Disney Himself Sitting on The Wing. He Said push the Lever Down Son... It Started to Slow Down, to a Stop... He then put His Hand Out Helped Me Out and Said Enjoy Yourself... This Is My Park Have Fun... He walked to the Snow White Ride and Vanished into Thin Air... My Son Ask Who Was That Daddy? I Said The Man...

Dumbo is just spectacular i love taking the kids and letting them fly up and down its a blast!

I rode this with my grandmother, and now I ride with my grandchildren. Love the story and ride! Glad there is now shade while waiting!

Really fun and cute ride, but its mainly directed towards smaller kids, especially considering the line.

Line length vs. ride time/quality make this not worth it. I remember my first trip to Disneyland in the mid 1980s and going on this ride. I was bit by another kid that I was forced to ride with that wanted to control the up/down movement.

This is the classic ride (that was copied again for The Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride at Disney World). You ride around in a circle on a Dumbo, and are able to control whether it goes up or down. You fly over a canal of water, but you dont get wet.

A fun ride for both adults who dont like too much thrill seeking and kids who enjoy a mild ride. The rider controls the up/down motion of Dumbo allowing for a personalised ride. Fun and relaxing.

2nd most terrifying attraction. I felt like I was going to be flung out. Only Goofies sky school is more terrifying.

Youve got to love it. It kinda gives you that nostalgic feel (for it being an opening day attraction). Perfect to end the night with.

The lines to this ride tend to move quickly, but the ride itself is fairly short. When you get in the flying elephants, youre able to raise and lower them as you go in circles. These controls are fairly slow, and dont always respond when you want them to, but its still great to see the park from high above!

A Disneyland classic thats fun for all ages. It doesnt offer the high tech thrills as other rides, but is sure to make some memories.

Nostalgic Disney magic that makes my kids happy. That being said, the elephants are a bit small and really only fit one adult and one child.

A classic Disney ride where you get to ride on Dumbo himself (well, one of many Dumbos) and control how high ro low you fly around in a circle. Its a simple ride, but very much a crowd pleaser and has a huge amount of nostalgia for people.
