I hate this ride, not because it’s not fun or anything like that but because it so stressful to me. I know that’s part of the excitement but for me it’s always such a white knuckle type of thing but still I go on it. But knock on for real is that the line so crazy sometimes. I’ve stood in it for two plus hours before. There isn’t a lot you can do when you wanna go it and you don’t have a fast pass. Now in the Covid times it might be different but that stress of the drops would still be there.

One of the best rides in all of Disneyland Resort. We always make sure to get a Fast Pass for this ride since it is one of the popular rides. Its always crowded so be prepared to stand in line if for a but if you do mot fast pass this ride. The music is awesome and always changes with the ride. Try to get the left ride because to me it seems like it goes a little faster.

Its literally free-fall elevator, the ride. I havent rode it when it was still called The Tower of Terror but its still a fun, exhilarating ride nevertheless. The brief moment of weightlessness is really fun and it is one of the extreme rides youll ride in the park. The lines can get really long so prioritizing getting a fast pass here is recommended.

One of the best rides at California adventure. The drops are very intense and the scenes with the guardians are hilarious. And playing the songs from Star Lords Walkman was brilliant.

Its the BEST ride ever! I loved Tower Of Terror, and I also love Guardians Of The Galaxy.... so this ride is awesome! The music is awesome, the drops are awesome, the theming is awesome and the decor is awesome! I would 1000/10 reccomend fully, you know it is good because I rated it higher than 10!

This ride is awesome! Formerly, The Twilight Zones, Tower of Terror, this was revamped a couple years ago when Disney acquired Marvel and turned into this free falling Guardians of the Galaxy escape mission ride. There are multiple songs that can come on at random on the ride once you are in the Gantry lift and the ride starts. All of them are classic rock songs, and if you loves Star Lords mix tapes in the movies, you will live the songs they selected for this ride. I wont ruin which songs they are for you as it is always a treat when the ride starts. Anyways, have a blast. We always do!

If theres one ride that can be the best in all of the Disneyland Resort, its this one, trust me

They should have never changed this. Tower of terror will always be the best.

Still my favourite ride, but its just not the same without the spooky hotel atmosphere :(the hotel aesthetic was half the fun

My daughter loves tower of terror and guardians of the galaxy so this was like a dream come true for her. She loved every second! We ended up riding it multiple times because she loved it so much. The line is VERY slow moving EVEN with fast pass. Be prepared to wait a LONG time. However, the collecters stuff inside is really cool. My daughter found Starlords walkman, Lokis armor and saw Stan Lee in one of the cages!

Love this ride, especially when the line is short. Make sure to come on a week day/night!

Super fun, thrilling ride! It is so fun and also so scary. Really cool entertainment too for all the guardians of the galaxy parts.

If you love free falling, this ride is for you. Lol I personally didnt like it. Ive been nauseous the whole day after getting off of it. Also, the wait was over 2 hrs long!! And this was on a Monday night! 3 stars for the ridiculous wait. Even fast pass had to wait a long time. So, tho I didnt care for the ride itself... The displays inside and story leading up to the elevator drop were pretty cool.

One of the best rides at Disney, and lines can often be long, so I’d recommend a fast pass.As the name says, this is guardians of galaxy themed. It’s a height drop ride so you get strapped into a chair and it goes up and down. You get some free fall as well as some upward force, but nothing too extreme.The lines are setup well, once you get in, you see a bunch of things falling under the theme that you can watch and see. You also go into a little room before getting into the final section of the line where rocket gives you an overview of the mission.No single rider lines here!

This is one of the best thrill rides on Disneyland property.

This ride is pathetic and while it has better drops than the Tower of Terror , nothing else about this ride is better than the Tower of Terror. This ride was just not great considering there was never an elevator in guardians of the galaxy that goes up and down really fast.

Such an amazing experience and a big improvement from Tower of Terror which was already an amazing ride. Nice to have some more relatable content with the Guardians, but also the music really keeps you pumped on the ride between the drops, and getting a different experience with the different songs, plus when they change the ride for after dark. Amazing!!!

It does have that fun element, Ill give it that, but it is not an improvement over tower of terror, especially when you throw in Chris Pratts acting

I love this ride so much!!!! Its so incredibly fun. But if you do not like hights or the feeling of falling I do not recommend. But if you are ok with all that stuff then I highly recommend!

Awesome ride! i never went on tower of terror but ever since i went on the ride i loved it, however my mom and my little brother hated it. im not sure about my other brother but i had a blast on it! Im wishing i could go on it again!

This is the best ride in the whole park! Where can I begin...First of all, GET A FAST PASS. The lines do get quite ridiculous! But even though the lines were normally around 2 hours long, every time I visit California Adventure, I ride this attraction about 15 times!*If you read on, expect spoilers of the ride*The ride consists of a “gantry lift” or an elevator. You and about 20 other people will be strapped into this lift. Rocket from The Guardians of the Galaxy movie will take all of you in the ride up to the top of the tower, then to suddenly drop down to the bottom, creating a sort of anti-gravity feeling. BEWARE: Strap down or hold tight to any loose items, because you will very possible loose them. After going up and down a bit with the same anti-gravityfeeling, you will be shot up through the tower, stopping at the top, where a door opens up, a picture is taken of everyone in the lift and you get an amazing view of the full theme park.Definitely recommend this ride to anyone who is over the age of 8. This ride is very, very exhilarating. Expect to be screaming in either joy or terror the whole ride. Most likely both at the same time.Enjoy the ride!

Thw ride was a blast. Wall up was entertaining with more then enough to see while you waite. Ride itself is an enclosed ejection seat ride. Little ones might get scard but it passes quick.

Its my fav ride at the park! I was originally really afraid to go on it but now I go on it at least 3 times everytime im at Disneyland California Adventure.

Guardians of the Galaxy movies have cursing in them. My little kids like the ride and then want to watch the movies. Disney then sues VidAngel and doesnt allow them to filter the cuss words out of the movies. Apparently Disney want my kids to watch movies with cursing in them. Is the Disney+ streaming service going to let me filter the cursing out of this movie?
