Its not everyday that you can experience the worlds oldest roller-coaster but for a few bucks you can! Word of advice, sit in the front seat, suprisingly it is so much more comfortable! Either way, its incredle to see and ride an engineering marvel of a past time and compare to the rides of today. The park is free and offers many other activities for families.

Great classic wooden coaster. Oldest coaster in the world and it is a much different experience. This was fun to see a piece of history and the way coasters were built back then. I rode in the front seat and my wife went in the back. She had much more airtime than me. This is a side friction coaster, and the cart actually appears to briefly leave the tracks on the drops. This is part of the experience and gives some airtime. A great piece of history.

The oldest coaster in the world. Its rather slow but is a fantastic opportunity to experience history and to see the evolution coasters. Anyone who loves amusement parks and coasters should ride this. Plus its the only one of its kind and you wont experience anything like it again. And kudos Lakemont Park for taking care of it, its in excellent shape and runs very smooth.

This is the worlds oldest operating wooden coaster built in 1902. Dont let the simple layout fool you; its an exhilarating ride the entire family can enjoy.

Amazing historic roller coaster. Its great to be able to ride this relic of history. While its not too high and its not that fast it makes up for it by having a great bragging right. You can brag to your friends that you rode the oldest roller coaster thats still running.

A seriously fun little ride. Not very high, not very fast, definitely not very smooth, but still a joy to experience. There are plenty of antiques in museums, but how many times can you say youve been bounced around by something over a century old?

Cool bit of history, I am glad it was restored. It will not make any coaster fans top thrill list, but it isnt a bad time either. Hopefully it will be around for many more years to come. I also hope that as Lakemont Park transitions to the owners new vision that the historic value and features of the park are revitalized.

When we visited in July the park was closed/under construction, but it was still fun to look.

This ride has to be unsafe. No seat belt to hold you in and both my husband and I flew up. I landed partially out of the cart and getting whiplash

Boy of boy was this wooden Jesus-made coaster a kickin time for me and the glam fam! I loved how just riding this coaster brought me and my beautiful children together, having a hip time! Not only did we ride Leap the Dips, when we got to the tippity top, a baseball suddenly hit me smack dab in the side of the noggin! Yes it hurt, but it was such a story to tell to my co workers that I got a home run ball from the stadium right next to the coaster! Definitely suggest this ride to human beings aged about 3 years and 5 months to anyone that can simply walk, because this coaster is meant for everybody but babies! I will be back, Leap the Dips!
