Clean, nice equipment, lots for kids to do. Big hill that’s great for sledding or flying kites.

Recommended ages of 5 to 12. I took my 2 yr old and she was pretty small for a lot of it. She still enjoyed the slides. No swings though. The ground is rubbery. The whole park is super fancy. Made for a bit older kiddos though.

I love the diversity in close proximity-- open fields, rolling hills, play equipment -- really fun

Cute park. Big enough for a lot of kids and has large hills that are fun for little explorers. Definitely geared to 5 yr olds and up.

Fantastic park. Two separate play structures. The one looks like a pirate ship. There is a sea seperant to climb. A plank that bounces you can jump off. There are huge hills to climb and roll down. It also has the rubber matting instead of wood chips.

Pirate park is one of the best! Love playsets and the hills for running and playing on. No wood chips is a huge plus! Lots of picnic tables too. Water in fountains was running, which surprised me bc of COVID. 10/10 FOR THIS PARK!

This is a really nice playground with a unique theme. One of the playgrounds is a pirate ship, complete with a bouncy plank, and the other is an island with grass huts. Theres a cool Easter Island sculpture, a sea monster, and a tiny palm tree island, plus a shelter with picnic tables.

Kids love the imaginative play with the pirate ship and the huge grass hills are fun to roll down. But theres no shade except under the pavilion. No running water. Theres one port a potty but it was not usable - broken seat was on the floor.

We had a blast. Clean, not crowded. Lost a star because the portajohn is truly a tragedy. But that is it! Solid park!

This park was a lot of fun for my young kids. They really enjoyed both playgrounds, though the pirate ship held their attention better, being designed for smaller children. The hills near the play sets also provided good entertainment, as they both liked either running or rolling down from the tops, and just getting to enjoy the view from atop the hills.Cons: The bathroom is just a port-a-potty. A music function on the pirate ship only worked sporadically, with no explanation as to what some of its features were supposed to do. When we first arrived, there were some teenagers who had climbed on top of the shelter roof by using a trash can; this set a bad example and was dangerous, as they threw off a scooter at one point and could have hit someone.

Ironwood Park is a very nice and creative park designed for children ages 5 to 12.The pirate ship slide area, as well as the island slide area are very well designed, and a great way to spark imagination. The downside to this park is that there is not a lot of shade, and theres no swing set. So when they say ages 5 to 12 they mean it.my family will be back, but it will probably be on a cooler day, cuz the play area gets hot fast

Very nice park, plenty of play space. There were a lot of options for play. This fairly new park lacks shade, it would be very warm in the middle of summer.

This park was excellent! Our kids love playing on the playground. Its very thoughtfully designed, with water and sand colored rubber ground to really help spark imagination. The shelter is decently sized and great for get togethers or parties.
