Quaint northern Michigan town with just enough amenities to satisfy your vacationing needs whether summer or winter.

Its not a big city, but its really pretty to walk through. You got your local winery and local hipster food place that will be a bit overpriced but its decent food. The coffee shop down the block has a very woodsy-vibe to it. Theres an ice cream shop on the corner as well! Theres a Mexican joint that recently re-opened downtown and its pretty sweet xD A pizza buffet past the bridge, also very woodsy feels. I could go on but you should check it out yourself. Most people dont know about this place unless they have a reason to be in Alpena. But if you wanna go somewhere where it feels like youre off the grid but its no Winesburg xD But then again, anywhere could be Winesburg xP But Im not the tall dark woman. Im just another local guide :)

Downtown Alpena, is a great place to spend your day, especially during the summer months. From parks to theaters to shops and other businesses, theres just something for everybody in, Downtown Alpena.
