The playground is one of the best Ive seen. Nice scenery, right on the trail. The beach itself is nice...the water of Lake Brophy...not so much. Otherwise, highly recommend!

AWESOME. Okay Im from Florida, just moved here, and was looking for a fun free activity. This is where its at. First time and its snowy (well, icy) but still a great time sledding and attempting to practice snowboarding. Excellent hills. It looks like there are some good trails to walk, and other trails to snowmobile and cross country ski. There is a Pick Up After Your Pooch station, so this park is dog friendly as far as we could tell! (Following any appropriate leash laws). The fire pit looks amazing, with wood next to it, I would imagine it would be courtesy to bring some/take some but Im not sure how that works. Super fun place, the playground looked AMAZING. Right by the lake. Ice skating area. And Im sure plenty more we didnt see. It looked like there was an additional groomed hill, but it looked steeper so us Floridians stuck with the other one.

My kids love the play ground. There is so much to do for all ages. Toddlers to big kids, even fun for adults.The bathrooms are nice and pretty well maintained compared to some other parks.We are not fans of the beach here. Maybe in a few years it will be better. The texture of the sand is gross, theres quite a bit of goose/dog poop in the sand. There are tons of weeds.

I hate to say how enjoyable this little park truly is. Its an amazing area so very close to home. Grandchildren loved the play area.

Very nice park with lots of great equipment. My daughter had a blast.

The bathroom was incredibly dirty, the portapotty was full of poop. All the trash cans were overflowing with garbage which attracted the bees. It is a wonderful playground for the kids but it is very sad that it is not being taken care of

A really great park. While my wife and I were comfortably seated on a bench our 8year old had a wonderful time playing on the playground equipment (all in wonderful condition). Well definitely be going back. We might get a chance to use the bike trails.

This park is amazing. Good beach, fabulous playground, and close to bike trails. The mountain bike trail was fun. Overall I would bring friends and family here again

Great park! Amazing playground, sweet looking mountain bike trails. Beach was quite rocky bottom but other than that was amazing! Ridiculously nice park in the middle of nowhere!

This place is coming together very nicely. Its something that this community has been needing for a very long time. Typically going to Crosby area to get my offroad biking needs satisfied this is a great alternative. Although its a completely different experience. I love how many runs that have been added to this area. Havent been swimming in the beach area but it looks nice.I appreciate all the hard work that has been done to put this together!

Super cool park! Large variety of things to play on that are not your average playground equipment. Only downside is lack of shade.

The new playground and trail development are top tier. This place will only get better as time goes on. On that note, access for shore fishing would be appreciated.

What a beautiful park! Great playground, bathroom house, and beach. There are some awesome mountain bike trails. In the winter, they have a sledding hill and ice skate trail. Would be nice to have a picnic shelter.

Completely revamped and built. Still under construction as of now. But looks amazing. The bike trails look glorious. The beach is nice, a sweet looking playground. Definitely recommend.

Havent used the new playground yet since its winter, but, the kids absolutely LOVE going sledding on the hill there.

A truly wonderful county park tucked away inbetween lakes Brophy and North Union. It offer picnic areas, access to the Central Lakes Trail, as well as scenic kame/kettle hiking/ski/mountain biking trails! The view from the largest kettle (hill) is simply breath taking, and is completely worth the effort. This is simply a great piece of local public land.

The new mountain bike trail is extremely challenging. You will build your legs into tree trunks if you keep at it. Plus a brand new beach for swimming, boat launch, right on the bike trail. Also new parking lot. Thanks Douglas County, its amazing.

Fun MTB course

You could keep the family busy for an entire day here! Swimming + beach, public water access, mountain biking trails, hiking trails, a very large playground, and bathrooms! In the future I believe theyre adding a bit more signage about the trails, but I had a FANTASTIC time. Parking for RV/Campers is available. I did about 2.5 miles of hiking in 1.5 hours (Im slow, I know.) Great, beautiful views with some large rolling hills. Even saw a bald eagle.

This park even has a zipline on the playground. Nice beach front, very clean. Hiking trail on hills and also a paved trail.
